In this process, the uncertainties of targets, dynamics, and observations are usually represented by the probability distributions. However, precise characterization of uncertainty becomes challenging due to imperfect knowledge about some key aspects, such as birth targets and sensor detection profiles. To overcome this challenge, this paper proposes a multi-sensor possibility PHD filter based on the theory of outer probability measures. An effective compensation method is introduced to tackle variations in the fields of view of SSA sensors or instances of missed detections, aiming to mitigate the inconsistency in localized information. The proposed method is adapted to centralized and distributed sensor networks, offering effective solutions for multi-sensor multi-target tracking. The major innovation of the proposed method compared with typical methods is the proper description of epistemic uncertainty, which yields more robust performance in the scenarios of lacking some information about the system. The effectiveness of the multi-sensor possibility PHD filter is demonstrated by a comparison with conventional methods in two simulated scenarios.展开更多

However, the existing protocols rely on exchange of hello messages to detect jamming, leading to long sensing time and thus slow routing recovery. To address the issues raised by jamming attacks, we propose a new routing protocol, Electromagnetic Spectrum situation awareness Optimized Link State Routing (ESOLSR) protocol, to improve the existing OLSRv2 protocol. ESOLSR utilizes the spectrum situation awareness capability from the physical layer, and adopts joint-updating of link status, updating of interface functions, and adaptive adjustment of parameters. Our simulation results show that the improved protocol, ESOLSR, can recover routing and resume normal communication 26.6% faster compared to the existing protocols.展开更多

Improvement of stroke care should be achieved through awareness of public, especially through high-risk group. Henceforth, the aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of nursing intervention on improving awareness of high-risk people about stroke prevention. Methods: A quasi-experimental design was used to carry out this study, where a purposive sample of 80 adult patients at high risk for stroke were enrolled while they were attending the out-patient clinics of Zagazig University Hospitals for follow-up treatment;they were divided into two groups: case (40 patients) and control (40 patients). An interview questionnaire was used to assess patients’ knowledge regarding warning signs, risk factors, and immediate treatment;attitude;and their practice for prevention for stroke at pretest and posttest. Results: The study revealed the poor level of knowledge, bad level of preventive behavior, and negative attitude regarding stroke prevention at pre-intervention. However, after intervention, the high-risk people had fair level of knowledge with moderate practice for stroke prevention and positive attitude, with statistically significant difference between pre-post intervention and between the case and control groups. Conclusions: The study revealed that the nursing intervention seemed to change the knowledge, practice, and attitude of subjects regarding stroke prevention. This, in turn, implies that awareness of prevention of stroke and high-risk factor control could be important to reduce the burden of stroke in Egypt. Thus, further research on a larger scale is required to improve population knowledge and behavior for stroke prevention and control.展开更多

摘要Fire,a globally significant hazard, has a detrimental impact on lives, property, and socio-economic development.Public attention to fires is crucial for building fire safety under the current disaster-driven regulation development. This study employs Chinese social media(Sina Weibo)data to analyze several major domestic and overseas fire incidents and explore the corresponding public awareness.Case studies analyze three groups,(1)building facade fire:the 2010 Shanghai Jing’an fire and the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire of London,(2)ancient building fire:the 2014 Shangri-La fire and the 2019 Notre-Dame de Paris fire,and(3)wildland-urban interface(WUI)fire:the 1987 Daxing’anling wildfire and the 2025 Southern California wildfire. The results show that these major fires attract varying levels of attention due to factors like fire location, losses, associated social issues, and subsequent developments.Comparison between fire events in China and overseas reveals that the Chinese internet pays more attention to overseas fire events.Compared to earthquakes and floods, major fire incidents generally receive less attention due to the scale of their influence and the intensity of media coverage.Social media data and analysis also suggest that measures such as publishing articles and conducting educational activities can increase public attention to past fires and pre-disaster fire safety awareness. This work helps understand the impact of major fire incidents on social media and the public’s evolving reactions and offers practical measures and suggestions for stakeholders to improve fire safety and mitigate fire losses.
摘要BACKGROUND Gastrointestinal endoscopy technology has significantly improved the diagnostic accuracy and the successful treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. However,a series of ethical issues have emerged, such as expanding treatment indications, which affect the fair distribution of medical resources. There is limited research on ethical issues in the field of digestive endoscopy.AIM To investigate the level of ethical awareness among gastrointestinal endoscopy practitioners and analyze the ethical issues involved in gastrointestinal endoscopy technology.METHODS A questionnaire survey was performed to collect relevant data(gender, age, degree of education, professional title, personnel category, the level of understanding medical ethical principles, ethics training and its learning pathways)from gastrointestinal endoscopy practitioners at the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University and Dalian Friendship Hospital, including licensed physicians and nurses(including trainees and graduate students).RESULTS The majority of gastrointestinal endoscopy practitioners have received training on ethics, but there is still considerable room for improvement in their ethical awareness.Different learning pathways may affect the mastery of ethical principles, and understanding of ethical principles is more easily achieved through hospital ethics institutions.CONCLUSIONTo address the ethical issues in gastrointestinal endoscopy technology, it is necessary to enhance the humanisticeducation of gastrointestinal endoscopy practitioners, incorporate ethical standards into the technology assessmentprocess, and establish a patient-centered diagnostic and treatment model to improve the ethical awareness of practitionersand achieve a balance between technology and ethics.

摘要China is confronting a major public health challenge due to its rapidly ageing population and the world's largest number of people living with dementia.Low diagnosis rates, systemic care deficiencies and pervasive stigma further complicate this crisis. In response, the Chinese government launched the National Action Plan for Addressing Dementia in the Elderly(2024-2030),which sets a core goal of achieving 80%public awareness of dementia prevention and treatment. This literature review synthesises evidence on dementia-related knowledge, attitudes and practices(KAP)among key stakeholders in China—including the general public, older adults, family and professional caregivers and healthcare providers—to establish a national baseline for implementing the Action Plan.Drawing on published studies from national and regional surveys,community-based interventions and cross-sectional research, this review identifies major barriers:misconceptions that dementia is a'normal'part of ageing, limited understanding of modifiable risk factors, entrenched stigma and inadequate training for caregivers and primary care providers. It also highlights methodological heterogeneity,a concentration of studies in eastern cities and limited evidence from rural and western regions, raising concerns about equity in both data and policy implementation.Although China's dementia literacy gaps resemble those in other middleand high-income countries, the ambitious 80%awareness target underscores the need for broad, multistakeholder engagement.Achieving the Action Plan's objectives will require culturally sensitive, sustained public health education, stigma reduction initiatives, curriculum reform in medical and nursing training and systematic investment in dementia literacy and community support. To our knowledge, this is the first review to provide a national-level synthesis of dementiarelated KAP across multiple stakeholder groups in China and to interpret these patterns as baseline evidence for the 2024-2030 National Dementia Action Plan.

摘要Label scarcity and long-tailed distribution imbalance are significant challenges in industrial equipment monitoring.Currently, selfsupervised learning methods are affected by sample quantity bias and semantic confusion under complex operating conditions, which limits their ability to represent sparse critical states. To address these issues,we propose a co-evolutionary prototypical contrastive learning(EPCL)framework.Through progressive learning from coarse-grained semantic discovery to fine-grained discriminative enhancement, this framework enables an in-depth analysis of the intrinsic structure of long-tailed data.Specifically,an adaptive prototype-based clustering algorithm based on optimal transport theory is introduced, thereby achieving unbiased representation learning through data-driven dynamic priors.Furthermore,a semantic-aware and hierarchical negative sample weighting scheme is designed to optimize discriminative boundaries while mitigating class imbalance by enforcing prototype consistency constraints and employing an adaptive weighting strategy.Extensive experiments were conducted on several public long-tailed visual benchmarks, including CIFAR10-LT,CIFAR100-LT,and ImageNet-100-LT,as well as the industrial fault diagnosis dataset. The results demonstrated that the EPCL achieved better performance than fifteen mainstream self-supervised methods(e.g.,SimCLR and SwAV)in both linear evaluation and few-shot classification tasks. On the CIFAR100-LT dataset, the EPCL improved the tail-class accuracy by 4.56%compared to SimCLR.Ablation studies and visualization results verified the effectiveness and generalization ability of the framework. This work offers a promising insight and practical solution for representation learning from unlabeled long-tailed measurement data.
摘要Residential energy-use behavior and energy-saving awareness play a crucial role in sustainable urban energy planning and building energy efficiency, particularly under the pressures of climate change. However, existing studies often lack comparative analysis of urban-rural differences and tend to focus excessively on behavior patterns while neglecting the dimension of energysaving awareness. With China’s urbanization rate reaching 66.16%,understanding such regional disparities has become increasingly important. To address these research gaps, this study conducts a large-scale survey on space cooling behaviors among residents in Beijing,a representative Chinese megacity. It should be noted that living standards in such megacities are generally higher than the national average, which may shape distinctive energy-use profiles.Analyzing 1573valid samples(1064 urban/442 rural)in 2024,this study employed K-Prototypes and K-Modes clustering to identify typical cooling behavior and energy-saving awareness pattems, followed by Kendall/Chi-square correlation tests and XGBoost importance analysis to determine key influencing factors, with subsequent urban-rural comparative analysis. Results indicate that urban residents are primarily heat-sensitive or heat-tolerant,with a secondary patten of mid-low temperature preference, and generally exhibit long cooling durations;rural behavior is dominated by heat-tolerant type, followed by heat-sensitive,mid-low temperature preference, and never-on types as secondary patterns;both urban and rural areas exhibit energy-savingawareness characterized by low consumption-lowwillingness,though urban areas show marginally higher motivation;energy-saving awareness correlates with cooling behavior in rural areas, but this relationship weakens significantly in urban contexts.
摘要Amid the shift in emotion research from a cognition-centered paradigm to an integrative mind-body perspective, body awareness,as a crucial mechanism linking physiological signals to emotional experience, has gradually emerged as a new pathway for explaining anxiety.Existing studies have primarily explained anxiety from the perspectives of external stressors or cognitive appraisal biases, paying insufficient attention to the somatic basis of emotional experience.Based on this, this paper systematically reviews the multidimensional sources of anxiety, integrates theories of body awareness with models of the emotion regulation process, and constructs a mediating mechanism framework of“body awareness→emotion regulation→anxiety”.The study indicates that body awareness,as a prerequisite variable for emotion recognition, indirectly affects anxiety levels by enhancing individuals’sensitivity to internal physiological signals, promoting the use of adaptive regulation strategies such as cognitive reappraisal, and reducing the use of maladaptive strategies like expressive suppression.Furthermore, the mechanism is elaborated from three levels:signal identification, strategy selection, and feedback regulation, proposing a“cyclical reinforcement mechanism”that reveals anxiety as the result of the dynamic interaction between somatic perception and emotion regulation.Theoretically, this paper expands the explanatory dimensions of anxiety research.Methodologically,it proposes testable empirical pathways.Practically,it provides a basis for shifting psychological interventions from a“cognition-oriented”to a“mind-body integrated”approach.
摘要Battlefield situation awareness is equivalent to the observation and orientation part of the Observation-Orientation-Decision-Action(OODA)loop.It is the key to transforming information advantage into decision-making advantages and an essential support for agile command decision-making.With the rapid rise and widespread application of various advanced intelligent technologies and model algorithms in the military field, traditional situation awareness technology and capacity building are facing great challenges.Relying solely on manual processing of battlefield situational data is no longer sufficient to meet the changing needs of the battlefield, nor can it provide commanders with real-time,accurate,efficient,and reliable situational information. Therefore,it is necessary to use highperformance hardware facilities and artificial intelligence technology to process massive battlefield data and provide an important reference basis for commanders to implement decision-making behaviors.

摘要Tracking multiple space objects using multiple surveillance sensors is a critical approach in many Space Situation Awareness(SSA) applications. The effectiveness of the multi-sensor possibility PHD filter is demonstrated by a comparison with conventional methods in two simulated scenarios.

摘要Dear Editor,Industrial Internet of things(IIoT) is a typical application of cyberphysical system(CPS). In the IIoT, wireless communication is an inevitable trend to replace the deployment-limited wired transmission for cases with large-scale and mobile devices. However, wireless communication gives rise to critical issues related to physical security, such as malicious detections and attacks [1].
摘要In the third decade of the 21st century, the aerospace field is evolving at an unprecedented pace towards intelligence and autonomy. As competition for space resource development intensifies, breakthroughs in near-space vehicle technology emerge, and the concept of drone swarm warfare matures, traditional rule-based and experience-driven battlefield situation awareness models are struggling to meet the demands of complex adversarial environments. This special issue brings together the latest research findings from fields such as computer science and technology, electronic engineering, and cognitive science, systematically exploring the cognitive revolution driven by the deep integration of next-generation artificial intelligence and aerospace engineering, all centered around the core theme of"Intelligent Situation Awareness"(ISA).
摘要Wireless networks support numerous terminals, manage large data volumes, and provide diverse services, but the vulnerability to environmental changes leads to increased complexity and costs.Situational awareness has been widely applied in network management, but existing methods fail to find optimal solutions due to the high heterogeneity of base stations, numerous metrics, and complex intercell dependencies. To address this gap, this paper proposes a specialized framework for wireless networks, integrating an evaluation model and control approach. The framework expands the indicator set into four key areas, introduces an evaluation method, and proposes the indicator perturbation greedy(IPG)algorithm and the adjustment scheme selection method based on damping coefficient(DCSS)for effective network optimization.A case study in an urban area demonstrates the framework’s ability to balance and improve network performance, enhancing situational awareness and operational efficiency under dynamic conditions.
摘要The paper investigates applicability of the developed high-level model and technology for solution of diverse problems in large distributed dynamic systems which can provide sufficient awareness of their structures, organization, and functionalities. After the review of meanings of awareness and existing approaches for its expression and support, the paper shows application of the Spatial Grasp Model and Technology(SGT)and its basic Spatial Grasp Language(SGL)for very practical awareness solutions in large distributed dynamic systems, with obtaining any knowledge from any point inside or outside the system. The self-evolving,self-replicating,and self-recovering scenario code in SGL can effectively supervise distributed systems under any circumstances including rapidly changing number of their elements.Examples are provided in SGL for distributed networked systems showing how in any node any information about other nodes and links, including the whole system, can be obtained by using network requesting patterns based on recursive scenarios combining forward and backward network matching and coverage. The returned results may be automatically organized in networked patterns too.The presented exemplary solutions are parallel and fully distributed, without the need of using vulnerable centralized resources, also very compact. This can be explained by fundamentally different philosophy and ideology of SGT which is not based on traditional partitioned systems representation and multiple agent communications. On the contrary,SGT and its basic language supervise and control distributed systems by holistic self-spreading recursive code in wavelike,virus-like,and even“soul-like”mode.

摘要UAV networks often encounter jamming attacks, under which multi-radio protocols have to switch radios to accelerate communication recovery. Our simulation results show that the improved protocol, ESOLSR, can recover routing and resume normal communication 26.6% faster compared to the existing protocols.
摘要Objective: Stroke is perceived as a serious illness although it is preventable, and lifestyle alterations can be made to reduce its risk. Thus, further research on a larger scale is required to improve population knowledge and behavior for stroke prevention and control.
摘要Objective:This randomized controlled trial aimed to assess the impact of a targeted educational intervention on the awareness and practice of genetic screening and counseling among young adults in Calabar Municipality,Cross River State.Materials and Methods:Participants(aged 18-45)were randomly assigned to either an intervention group receiving structured health education or a control group receiving general health information.Stratified randomization was used between the groups.A sample size of 340 participants was recruited to detect a 20%difference in outcomes with 80%power.Data were collected using prevalidated questionnaires at baseline, immediately after the intervention, and at a 3-month follow-up.The intervention consisted of three weekly 90-min educational sessions covering genetics, the benefits of screening, and practical guidance on accessing genetic services. The primary outcomes were changes in awareness and practices related to genetic screening, with secondary outcomes focusing on attitudes and intentions toward genetic counseling. Results:Findings revealed that awareness of genetic screening was higher in the intervention group, with 65.9%of participants aware of early detection, compared to 59.4%in the control group, although the difference was not statistically significant(P=0.23).In terms of practice,42.9%of the intervention group and 40.0%of the control group engaged in genetic screening programs, with no significant difference(P=0.57).Logistic regression analysis highlighted that age, educational level, and knowledge of teratogens were significant predictors of genetic screening awareness.Participants aged 36 years and above were 1.52 times more likely to be aware(odds ratio[OR]=1.52,P=0.003),and those with tertiary education had nearly double the likelihood of awareness(OR=1.96,P<0.001).Conclusion:The study underscores the importance of targeted education in improving genetic screening awareness.
