Direct synthesis of dimethyl carbonate(DMC)from CO2 is critical for achieving carbon neutrality,yet the sluggish formation and conversion of the key*CH₃OCOO intermediate-due to the difficulty of C-O coupling-limit high DMC yields.Herein,we developed a boric acid-assisted recrystallization strategy to fabricate grain-boundary-rich CeO2 hollow nanospheres,which serve as an efficient catalyst for CO2 to DMC synthesis.The introduction of grain-boundary(GBs)induced the electron redistribution,which led a decrease in the electron density of bulk Ce ions and created a localized electron-rich region at homogeneous interface.This unique electronic landscape promoted reactive methoxy formation and stronger CO2 adsorption,thereby enabling more efficient coupling of*CH3O and*CO2 to form the*CH3OCOO.Concurrently,the enhanced CO2 adsorption facilitated the dissociation of*CH3OCOO and subsequent DMC formation.As a result,the 4%BCeO2-GBs achieved an advantageous DMC yield of 19.8 mmol/g.In the assistance of dehydrating agent,the catalyst delivered a remarkable 264.2 mmol/g DMC yield and 7.12%methanol conversion,which was 32 times higher than commercial CeO2.This study elucidated the intrinsic mechanisms governing*CH3OCOO intermediate behavior and offers valuable guidance for CO2 converting into high-value organic chemicals. 展开更多

聚丙烯(PP)因化学稳定性、耐热性和电绝缘性较好在金属化薄膜电容器中被广泛应用,但其在高温下损耗增大,限制了其在高性能储能器件领域的应用。鉴于实验研究的局限性以及纳米掺杂对PP热力学性能研究的不足,本研究开展了分子动力学模拟,... 聚丙烯(PP)因化学稳定性、耐热性和电绝缘性较好在金属化薄膜电容器中被广泛应用,但其在高温下损耗增大,限制了其在高性能储能器件领域的应用。鉴于实验研究的局限性以及纳米掺杂对PP热力学性能研究的不足,本研究开展了分子动力学模拟,对纯PP、不同质量分数ZrO2/PP及含水分子的复合体系进行分析。研究表明:纳米ZrO2掺杂可有效改善PP热力学性能,其中ZrO2(7%)/PP复合体系效果最为显著,在常温下导热率提升29.41%、玻璃化转变温度升高15.28%、力学模量得到提高、自由体积和均方位移下降;且由于纳米ZrO2掺杂占据自由体积限制分子链运动,ZrO2(7%)/PP复合体系削弱作用最强;水分子扩散速率随温度升高而加快,而纳米ZrO2的掺杂可以降低其扩散系数,使其在掺杂体系中的扩散较未掺杂体系减缓。研究结果为纳米ZrO2在金属化薄膜中的应用提供理论支撑,为提升聚丙烯热力学性能提供参考。 展开更多

A series of praseodymium added CeO2(ZrO2)/TiO2 catalysts separately prepared by methods of sol-gel and impregnation were tested for selective catalytic reduction of NO, and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), N2-brumauer-emmett-teller (N2-BET), NH3-temperature programmed desorption (NH3-TPD), H2-temperature programmed reduction (H2-TPR), PL spectra, Ra-man spectra, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), respectively. Influence of prepara-tion method on catalytic performance was studied. Results showed that the influence of Pr addition on catalytic performance of the CeO2(ZrO2)/TiO2 catalysts was different between the sol-gel method and the impregnation method. The Pr addition tended to interact with TiO2 and formed the structure of Ti-O-Pr in the sol-gel method while it was more likely to interact with CeO2 forming the struc-ture of Ce-O-Pr in the impregnation method. The total acid amount and redox properties of the catalysts prepared by sol-gel method decreased with the addition of Pr element, which resulted in decrease of catalytic activity. In contrast, the Pr-added catalyst prepared by impregnation method was found to possess easier reducibility, more total acid amount and higher proportion of Ce3+ species, which was favourable for higher catalytic activity. 展开更多

A series CeO2(ZrO2)/TiO2 catalysts were modified with Er using a sol-gel method.The catalytic activity of the obtained catalysts in the selective catalytic reduction(SCR) of NO with NH3 was investigated to determine the appropriate Er dosage.The catalysts were characterized using X-ray diffraction,N2 adsorption,NH3 temperature-programmed desorption,H2 temperature-programmed reduction,photoluminescence spectroscopy,electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The results showed that the optimum Er/Ce molar ratio was 0.10;this catalyst had excellent resistance to catalyst poisoning caused by vapor and sulfur and gave more than 90% NO conversion at 220–395 ℃ and a gas hourly space velocity of 71 400 h^-1.Er incorporation increased the Ti^3+ concentrations,oxygen storage capacities,and oxygen vacancy concentrations of the catalysts,resulting in excellent catalytic performance.Er incorporation also decreased the acid strength and inhibited growth of TiO2 and CeO2 crystal particles,which increased the catalytic activity.The results show that high oxygen vacancy concentrations and oxygen storage capacities,large amounts of Ti^3+,and low acid strengths give excellent SCR activity. 展开更多

The binary composite photo-catalysts CeO2/ZiO2, ZrO2/ZiO2 and the ternary composite photo-catalysts H3PW12040-CeO2/TiO2, H3PW12O40-ZrO2/TiO2 were prepared by sol-gel method. The catalysts were characterized by thermogravimetric-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The photocatalytic elimination of methanol was used as model reaction to evaluate the photocatalytic activity of the composite catalysts under ultraviolet light irradiation. The effects of doped content, activation temperature, time, initial concentration of methanol and gas flow rate on the catalytic activity were investigated. The results showed that after doping a certain amount of CeO2 and ZrO2, crystallization process of TiO2 was restrained, particles of catalysts are smaller and more uniform. Doping ZrO2 not only significantly improved the catalytic activity, but also increased thermal stability. Doping H3PW12O40 alSO enhanced the catalytic activity. The catalytic activities of binary and ternary composite photocatalysts were significantly higher than un-doped TiO2. The dynamics law of photocatalytic reaction over the binary CeO2/TiO2 and ZrO2/TiO2 catalysts has been studied. The activation energy 15.627 and 15.631 kJ/mol and pre-exponential factors 0.5176 and 0.9899 s^-1 over each corresponding catalyst were obtained. A novel solid superacid catalyst S2O8^2-/ZrO2-CeO2 was prepared by a coprecipitation method and characterized by means of XRD FTIR, BET, TEM and DSC/TG analysis methods. The results indicated that incorporation of appropriate amounts of Ce into the catalyst was beneficial to the formation of sole tetragonal ZrO2 and effectively prevented from the formation of monoclinic ZrO〉 and restrained the loss of sulfated species. XRD revealed the presence of tetragonal Ce0.16Zr0.84O2phase in the case of S2O8^2-/ZrO2-CeO2 calcined above 500 ℃. Catalytic activities of S2O8^2-/ZrO2-CeO2 for the esterification of lactic acid with n-butanol was studied. The results showed that the optimum conditions were as follows: calcination temperature of the catalyst 600 ℃, n(lactic acid):n(n-butyl alcohol)=1.0:3.0, w(S2O8^2-/ZrO2- CeO2)=12.0%, reaction temperature 145 ℃, and reaction time 2 h. A series of CeO2-ZrO2-WO3 catalysts for the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3 were prepared by hydrothermal method. The influence of calcination temperature on the catalytic activity, microstructure, surface acidity and redox behavior of CeO2-ZrO2-WO3 catalyst was investigated using various characterization methods. It was found that the CeO2-ZrO2-WO3 catalyst calcined at 600 ℃ showed the best catalytic performance and excellent N2 selectivity, and yielded more than 90% NO conversion in a wide temperature range of 250-500 ℃ with a space velocity (GHSV) of 60000 131. As the calcination temperature was increased from 400 to 600 ℃, the NO conversion obviously increased, but decreased at higher calcination temperature. The results implied that the higher surface area, the strongest synergistic interaction, the superior redox property and the highly dispersed or amorphous WO3 species contributed to the excellent SCR activity of the CeO2-ZrO2-WO3 catalyst calcined at 600℃. 展开更多

采用溶胶-凝胶法制备Y3+和La3+掺杂CeO_2(ZrO_2)/TiO_2(简称CZT)催化剂,研究Y3+和La3+掺入对其脱硝性能的影响。采用X射线衍射、氮气吸附脱附、氨气程序升温吸附、氢气程序升温还原以及紫外光光致发光光谱等实验方法对CZT... 采用溶胶-凝胶法制备Y3+和La3+掺杂CeO_2(ZrO_2)/TiO_2(简称CZT)催化剂,研究Y3+和La3+掺入对其脱硝性能的影响。采用X射线衍射、氮气吸附脱附、氨气程序升温吸附、氢气程序升温还原以及紫外光光致发光光谱等实验方法对CZT催化剂进行表征。结果表明:Y3+和La3+的掺入抑制了TiO_2从无定形向锐钛矿型转变,不仅增大了催化剂的弱酸酸量和比表面积,同时提高了CZT催化剂的缺陷浓度和储释氧性能;弱酸酸量和比表面积的增大有利于CZT催化剂表面反应气体的吸附;缺陷浓度和储释氧性能的提高加快了吸附在CZT催化剂表面的NO被氧化速率,有利于催化反应的进行。因此,适量掺入Y3+和La3+会明显提升CZT催化剂的低温脱硝活性,拓宽其活性温度窗口。空速71 400 h-1条件下,0.2LaCZT催化剂在200℃的脱硝率达到85.1%,300℃达到最高(96.5%)。 展开更多

The electrocatalytic activity and stability of Pt/C catalyst modified by using CeO_2-ZrO_2 mixed oxides for the alcohols electrochemical oxidation as probes were investigated. The catalyst samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM). The electrochemical properties were measured by a three electrode system on electrochemical workstation(IVIUM). The results showed that the presence of CeO_2-ZrO_2 might be associated with the presence of Pt, which indicated that possibly there was synergistic effect between CeO_2-ZrO_2 and Pt nanoparticles. The electrocatalytic activity and stability of Pt-MO_x/C(M=Ce, Zr) for methanol and ethanol oxidation was better than that of Pt-CeO_2/C, which was attributed to that CeO_2-ZrO_2 composited oxides enhanced oxygen mobility and promoted oxygen storage capacity(OSC). Furthermore, the best performance was found when the molar ratio of CeO_2 to ZrO_2 was 2:1 for the oxidation of methanol and ethanol. The forward peak current density of Pt-MO_x/C(M=Ce, Zr, Ce:Zr=2:1) towards the methanol electrooxidation was about 3.8 times that of Pt-CeO_2/C. Pt-MO_x/C(M=Ce, Zr) appeared to be a promising and less expensive methanol oxidation anode catalyst. 展开更多

Larger amounts of alkalis, alkali earth metals and sulfides in flue gas from glass furnace were easier to deactivate selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst compared to the flue gases from other stationary sources. Catalyst regeneration has been an emerging research topic for flue gas denitrification in glass furnace. Regeneration of the deactivated TiO2-ZrO2-CeO2 /Al2TiO 5 -TiO2-SiO2 (ATS) complex phase ceramics catalysts used for NH3 -SCR of NO x in glass furnace was studied in this work. Effects of regeneration methods, including washing with different aqueous solutions and sulfuric acid, thermal regeneration, thermal reduction regeneration, and thermal regeneration with SO2 , on catalytic performance were comparatively investigated. In comparison of catalytic activities between the catalysts before and after regeneration, results showed that washing was the most effective regeneration method, and the sulfuric acid concentration of the washing solution was an important factor. Washing time directly affected catalyst regeneration efficiency and catalyst life. The regenerated TiO2-ZrO2 -CeO2 /ATS catalyst regained more than 90% NO conversion after being washed with 10 wt.% H2SO4 for 30 min. 展开更多

Ce-Zr-Al-Nd2O3 (CZAN) support materials were prepared by co-precipitation and impregnation methods, respectively. They were characterized by X-ray diffTaction (XRD), low temperature nitrogen adsorption-desorption, oxygen pulsing technique, H2-temperamre programmed reduction (H2-TPR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The Pd-only three-way catalysts (Pd-TWC) supported on these materials were prepared by incipient wetness method and studied by activity tests. The results demonstrated that the CZAN supports obtained by the two methods showed better structural, textural and redox properties than the CZA without Nd2O3, and the addition of Nd203 improved the catalytic activity of TWC. Especially, the CZAN-i support prepared by impregnation method had better thermal stability and redox property. Meanwhile, the Pd/CZAN-i catalyst exhibited the best catalytic performance. XPS measurements indicated that the Nd-modified samples possessed more Ce3+ and oxygen vacancies on the surface of samples, which led to a better redox property. The excellent redox property of support materials helped to improve the catalytic activity of TWC. 展开更多

Potassium-modified ceria-zirconia catalyst was synthesized by wetness impregnation method.The ageing treatment was performed in static air at 800℃for 20 hr to evaluate the thermal stability of the catalyst.The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction,BET surface area,oxygen storage capacity,NOx-temperature programmed desorption and soot-temperature programmed oxidation measurements.By introduction of potassium,the maximum soot oxidation rate temperature(Tin)of the ceria-zirconia based catalyst decreased from 525 to 428℃in the presence of NO under a loose contact mode.The shift of Tm of the K-modified catalyst after ageing is only 15℃.The enhanced activity of the aged catalyst mainly lies in the promotional effect of potassium on the NOx/oxygen storage capacity as well as the soot-catalyst contact. 展开更多

High thermal stability of the textural properties is one of the most important requirements for practical application since temperatures up to 1273 K are easily experienced by these materials under real working conditions. In the present paper, we investigated how hydrothermal treatments applied to cakes of doped and undoped ZrO2-rich CeO2-ZrO2 precursors might improve the thermal stability of the final CeO2-ZrO2 solid solution. A rationale was developed that allowed to correlate the morphology of the hydrothermaUy treated cake with the thermal stability at 1273 K of the final product, which did not depend on the composition of the mixed oxides. 展开更多

CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3 ternary oxides were successfully prepared by a green route of supercritical anti-solvent precipitation with supercritical CO2 as anti-solvent and methanol as solvent. The structures and oxygen storage capacities of these ternary oxides were characterized by XRD, Raman spectra and oxygen storage capacity measurements. It was found that Al3+ and Zr4+ inserted into CeO2 lattice, forming CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3 solid solution. The concentration of aluminium isopropoxide in the solution affected the concentration of oxygen vacancy and the distortion of oxygen sublattice which were responsible for the oxygen storage capacity. The rapidest oxygen uptakeelease rate and maximum total oxygen storage capacity (122.0 mmolO2/molCeO2) were obtained with the aluminitun isopropoxide concentration at 0.2 wt.% in the solution. 展开更多
