Aeroengines,often regarded as the heart of aircraft,are crucial for flight safety and performance.Comprehensive performance evaluation of aeroengines supports Prognostics and Health Management(PHM)and aeroengine digital engineering.Due to their highly integrated nature,aeroengines present challenges in performance evaluation because their test-run data are high-dimensional,large-scale,and exhibit strong nonlinear correlations among test indicators.To solve this problem,this study proposes a unified framework of the comprehensive performance evaluation of aeroengines to assess performance objectively and globally.Specifically,the network model and the dynamics model of aeroengine performance are constructed driven by test-run data,which can explain the patterns of system state changes and the internal relationship,and depict the system accurately.Based on that,three perturbations in the model are used to simulate three fault modes of aeroengines.Moreover,the comprehensive performance evaluation indexes of aeroengines are proposed to evaluate the performance dynamically from two dimensions,the coupling performance and the activity performance.Thirteen test-run qualified and four test-run failed aeroengines are used to validate and establish the qualified ranges.The results demonstrate that the comprehensive evaluation indexes can distinguish test-run qualified and test-run failed aeroengines.By changing the dynamic parameters,the comprehensive performance under any thrust and inlet guide vanes(IGV)angle can be estimated,broadening the test-run scenarios beyond a few typical states.This novel approach offers significant advancements for the comprehensive performance evaluation and management of aeroengines,paving the way for future PHM and aeroengine digital engineering developments. 展开更多

With the reform of agriculture, family farms have become hot spots in the reform of agricultural management system. Taking Rudong County of Jiangsu Province for an example, the land transfer performance of family farms was evalu- ated using the first hand data from field investigation by building an index system for comprehensive performance evaluation of family farm land transfer covering three dimensions of economy, society and ecology. The results show that land transfer in family farm mode has realized the scale management of land, enhanced the agri- cultural level of science and technology, effectively promoted the structural adjust- ment of agriculture and income increase of farmers, advanced the development of eco-agriculture, and achieved good economic and social performances. However, in the development process of family farms, inputs of agro-chemicals, fertilizers and other agro-products have brought about the eco-environmental problems, which are still worth noting. 展开更多

An objective evaluation scheme for automotive technical and comprehensive performance could provide critical and instructive insights for academic research,engineering practice,and commercial marketing of vehicles.In this paper,the technical performance index A=S∕T1⋅T2(m∕(s2⋅L))and comprehensive performance index F=M⋅S∕T1⋅T2,(kN⋅L−1,where M is the vehicle mass)are formulated by incorporating the vehicle 0–100 km⋅h−1 acceleration duration T1,100–0 km⋅h−1 braking duration T2,and fuel economy S(mileage per liter fuel at constant speed)to assess the vehicle’s longitudinal dynamic performance.A and F offer a clear physical implication of a vehicle’s acceleration capability and traction efficiency acquired per unit of fuel consumption,respectively.These indexes are used for wide case studies of popular market sedans and SUVs of joint ventures(JVs)and domestic brands in China over the last 17 years.The findings prove that this approach could be effectively and reliably utilized for the objective evaluation and analysis of the technical and comprehensive performance of automotive models. 展开更多

Indicators are the basis for judging the working performance of exhaust hood and capture performance are usually used as the only indicator.An evaluation index system including three factors of cooking oil fumes(COF)instantaneous capture,health risk impact and thermal comfort was proposed to assess the comprehensive performance of exhaust hood in the present study.The primary capture efficiency(PCE)of formaldehyde,the PCE of particulate matter with the diameter less than or equal to 2.5μm(PM2.5),the incremental lifetime cancer risk(ILCR)of formaldehyde,the ILCR of PM2.5and the predicted mean vote(PMV),which can all be quantified with the aid of computational fluid dynamics(CFD),were selected as the indicators.And the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)method was introduced to perform the comprehensive performance evaluation of exhaust hood.The performance of two exhaust hood structures(grille and orifice type)with three exhaust rates(3000,4000,and 5000 m3/h)in two cooking zones of a university canteen kitchen were evaluated.The result showed that the reduction of ILCR of COF exposure is the most important to the performance of exhaust hood.The comprehensive performance of orifice exhaust hood with exhaust rate of 4000 and 5000 m3/h are optimal;the orifice exhaust hood with exhaust of 3000 m3/h and grille exhaust hood with exhaust rate of 5000 m3/h are moderate;the grille exhaust hood with exhaust rate of 3000 and 4000 m3/h are low.Decision-making priorities based on comprehensive and individual performance are not exactly the same in the two cooking zones.It is necessary to use the index system to evaluate the comprehensive performance of exhaust hood that considers the impact on human health and thermal comfort. 展开更多

As age advances,accumulation of bone regeneration inhibitors in osteoporotic patients increases,resulting in larger bone defect areas and varying degrees of defects.When studying bone regeneration in osteoporotic bone defects,researchers often lack specificity on different bone quality statuses.To design a porous scaffold more similar to cancellous bone to promote bone regeneration,a multi-objective optimization design of biomimetic porous scaffold based on cancellous bone images was carried out in this study.Vertebral cancellous bones from rats with different bone quality statuses caused by various ovariectomy durations served as examples.First,the microstructure,mechanical and biological properties parameters of vertebral cancellous bones were calculated based on images from 20-,30-,and 38-week-old rats without ovariectomy and 30-and 38-week-old rats with ovariectomy(10 weeks and 18 weeks after ovariectomy).Second,the effects of constant value(C),which affects scaffold thickness,scale factor of z-axis(N),influencing stretching and compression of unit cell,and unit cell size(L)on the mechanical and biological properties of Schoen Gyroid and Schoen I-WP were investigated.Third,Schoen Gyroid and Schoen I-WP were optimized and evaluated using non-dominated genetic algorithm-II(NSGA-II)and complex proportional assessment method,with the elastic modulus of cancellous bones from 30-and 38-week-old ovariectomized rats as performance constraint to obtain the best structure tailored to each ovariectomized group.The surface curvature of the scaffold could be changed by stretching or compressing the unit cell,and the pore size could be changed by altering the unit cell thickness and size to obtain scaffolds suitable for different extents of bone defects.The optimized scaffolds met mechanical and biological requirements.Schoen I-WP exhibited superior comprehensive performance compared to Schoen Gyroid.The optimized design framework proposed in this study can be applied to bone defects of any age,bone site,and bone quality status,and has potential application for personalized treatment of bone defects. 展开更多

Developing circularly polarized organic light-emitting diodes(CP-OLEDs)that simultaneously achieve a high electroluminescence dissymmetry factor(gEL)and a high external quantum efficiency(EQE)remains a central challenge in polarized optoelectronics.Here,we report a general composite strategy for constructing full-color CP-OLEDs by integrating a 5CB-based chiral nematic liquid crystal(N*-LC)layer with OLEDs based on achiral emitters.The resulting CP-OLEDs exhibit both high polarization purity and high electroluminescence efficiency,with|gEL|values of up to 1.9,EQEs reaching 26.9%,and Q-factors as high as 0.48.Notably,contrary to the conventional assumption that N*-LC integration causes severe optical losses(>50%)due to Bragg reflection,the EQE of the devices is preserved mainly in this composite architecture.This behavior is attributed to an internal photon-recycling process enabled by the reflection of light within the device structure.To the best of our knowledge,these CP-OLEDs represent the highest comprehensive performance reported to date.Furthermore,the practical utility of these high-performance devices is demonstrated through the encryption and decryption of information based on circularly polarized electroluminescence. 展开更多

Due to the correlation and diversity of robotic kinematic dexterity indexes, the principal component analysis (PCA) and kernel principal component analysis (KPCA) based on linear dimension reduction and nonlinear dimension reduction principle could be respectively introduced into comprehensive kinematic dexterity performance evaluation of space 3R robot of different tasks. By comparing different dimension reduction effects, the KPCA method could deal more effectively with the nonlinear relationship among different single kinematic dexterity indexes, and its calculation result is more reasonable for containing more comprehensive information. KPCA' s calculation provides scientific basis for optimum order of robotic tasks, and furthermore a new optimization method for robotic task selection is proposed based on various performance indexes. 展开更多

By developing high comprehensive performance((BH)max+Hcj),Nd-Fe-B magnets can operate stably in high-temperature applications,greatly expanding the application scenarios of them.Unfortunately,there is a constraint relationship between coercivity(Hcj)and maximum magnetic energy product((BH)max),and an increase in Hcj always accompanies a decrease in(BH)max.Here,the excellent comprehensive magnetic performance of up to 86.54,namely(BH)max of 42.33 MGOe and Hcj of 44.21 kOe,is unprecedented in the sintered Nd-Fe-B magnets.This magnet is obtained by designing a unique grain structure through micrometallurgical reactions to prepare a matrix with excellent comprehensive performance,and then by stepwise diffusion,the(BH)max and Hcj of the magnet are simultaneously enhanced.The magnet prepared in this way has a“double-shell core”structure and Tb segregation distribution inside the core.The working temperature of the magnet in this work reached 280℃,providing a new approach for the development of high-performance Nd-Fe-B magnets. 展开更多

High-performance copper alloys with enhanced strength,conductivity,and toughness are critical in in-dustrial applications,yet achieving this combination of properties in a bulk form remains challenging,as many strength-enhancing grain refinement methods are limited to small-scale production.This study investigates the development of Cu-Ni-Be alloys with high strength,high conductivity,and excellent duc-tility using rotary swaging(RS)as the primary processing method,followed by aging treatments.The RS process,known for its advantages in industrial-scale applications,enables the formation of fibrous,elon-gated grains with strong axial alignment,resulting in improved conductivity along the wire direction.Additionally,the triaxial compressive stresses inherent in RS promote effective dislocation accumulation,producing an alloy with a strength of 706 MPa,uniform elongation of 1.4%,and conductivity of 35%in-ternational annealed copper standard(IACS)in the as-swaged state.Optimized aging treatments further improve the comprehensive performance of the alloy,increasing its strength to 1064 MPa,uniform elon-gation to 10.4%,and conductivity to 46%IACS through the formation of dispersed nanoscale precipitates.These findings demonstrate that the Cu-Ni-Be alloy processed by RS and aging achieves a unique balance of tensile strength,ductility,and conductivity,making it highly suitable for industrial applications.This establishes RS as a viable approach for producing advanced Cu-Ni-Be alloys with tailored properties for the electrical and structural industries. 展开更多

Multi-target tracking(MTT) is a research hotspot of wireless sensor networks at present.A self-organized dynamic cluster task allocation scheme is used to implement collaborative task allocation for MTT in WSN and a special cluster member(CM) node selection method is put forward in the scheme.An energy efficiency model was proposed under consideration of both energy consumption and remaining energy balance in the network.A tracking accuracy model based on area-sum principle was also presented through analyzing the localization accuracy of triangulation.Then,the two models mentioned above were combined to establish dynamic cluster member selection model for MTT where a comprehensive performance index function was designed to guide the CM node selection.This selection was fulfilled using genetic algorithm.Simulation results show that this method keeps both energy efficiency and tracking quality in optimal state,and also indicate the validity of genetic algorithm in implementing CM node selection. 展开更多

The development of montmorillonite modified phenolic resin under microwave irradiation heating was investigated.The effect of montmorillonite content and stirring time on the structure and morphology of synthetic resin was analyzed.The optimum processing procedure was found to be 45 min stirring time with 5.4% montmorillonite addition.Further,the platelet spacing increases with stirring time till montmorillonite exfoliated to nanoscales platelet.When montmorillonite is exfoliated,layered structure at nanoscale can be uniformly distributed in the resin.The overall performance of montmorillonite modi fied phenolic resin is improved remarkably,such as flow ability,tensile strength and toughness property of resin coated sand.However,the gelation speed decreased slightly by adding montmorillonite. 展开更多

Mg matrix composites(Mg MCs)with enhanced mechanical and functional properties,as well as improved elastic modulus,have aroused rising attention from the aerospace,new energy vehicles,and consumer electronics industries.The suitability of the fabrication process is crucial for achieving uniform dispersion of various reinforcing materials within the Mg alloy matrix and for forming strong interfacial bonding.This ensures that the produced Mg MCs meet the requirements for fabricating various components with different demands for size and properties.This paper comprehensively reviews the present fabrication methods for MgMCs in four categories:stir casting,external addition methods,in-situ synthesis methods and novel fabrication methods.It comprehensively focuses on the fabrication principles,process characteristics and key parameters optimization of each technology.Through in-depth analysis,their advantages,limitations and applications are evaluated.Meanwhile,the latest research achievements in microstructure control and mechanical performance optimization are explored.Eventually,the development directions of the fabrication methods for MgMCs in the future are also discussed. 展开更多

The performance of an integrated thermal management system signi?cantly in?uences the stability of special-purpose vehicles;thus,enhancing the heat transfer of the radiator is of great signi?cance.Common research methods for radiators include?uid mechanics numerical simulations and experimental measurements,both of which are time-consuming and expensive.Applying the surrogate model to the analysis of the?ow and heat transfer in louvered?ns can effectively reduce the computational cost and obtain more data.A simpli?ed louvered-?n heat transfer unit was established,and computational?uid dynamics(CFD)simulations were conducted to obtain the?ow and heat transfer characteristics of the geometric structure.A three-factor and six-level orthogonal design was established with three structural parameters:angleθ,length a,and pitch L_p of the louvered?ns.The results of the orthogonal design were subjected to a range analysis,and the effects of the three parametersθ,a,and L_p on the j,f,and JF factors were obtained.Accordingly,a proxy model of the heat transfer performance for louvered?ns was established based onthe arti?cial neural network algorithm,and the model was trained with the data obtained by the orthogonal design.Finally,the?n structure with the largest JF factor was realized.Compared with the original model,the optimizedmodel improved the heat transfer factor j by 2.87%,decreased the friction factor f by 30.4%,and increased the comprehensive factor JF by 15.7%. 展开更多

Considering the stratum anti-drilling ability,drill bit working conditions,drill bit application effect and drill bit economic benefits,the similarity of stratum anti-drilling ability was evaluated by grey relational analysis theory to screen out candidate drill bits with reference values.A new comprehensive performance evaluation model of drill bit was established by constructing the absolute ideal solution,changing the relative distance measurement method,and introducing entropy weight to work out the closeness between the candidate drill bits and ideal drill bits and select the reasonable drill bit.Through the construction of absolute ideal solution,improvement of relative distance measurement method and introduction of entropy weight,the inherent defects of TOPSIS decision analysis method,such as non-absolute order,reverse order and unreasonable weight setting,can be overcome.Simple in calculation and easy to understand,the new bit selection method has good adaptability to drill bit selection using dynamic change drill bit database.Field application has proved that the drill bits selected by the new drill bit selection method had significant increase in average rate of penetration,low wear rate,and good compatibility with the drilled formations in actual drilling.This new method of drill bit selection can be used as a technical means to select drill bits with high efficiency,long life and good economics in oilfields. 展开更多

In our study, we replaced traditional adhesives with compounds made with recycled plastic shopping bags in order to make hot-melt plywood using various amounts of plastic film, different hot-pressing temperatures and hot-pressing times. All three variables have an effect on the intensity and water-resistance of plywood. The results show that the bonding strength of plywood does not increase with increasing amounts of plastic film. When the hot-pressing temperature is increased to 150℃, the bonding strength does not necessarily increase any further. At a hot-pressing time of 6 min, the bonding strength reaches a maximum, after which it will decrease. The optimum hot-pressing parameters are as follows: 100 g·m^-2 of recycled plastic, a hot-pressing temperature of 150℃ and a hot-pressing time of 6 min. This study puts forward a new idea of making use of plastic waste, which, ultimately, may solve the problem of formaldehyde emission without damaging the environment. Lightweight alumina-silica castables were prepared using closed-cell perlite(2-4 mm),open-cell perlite(4-6 mm)and coal gangue ceramsites(2-5 mm)as aggregates,floating beads(0.3-0.5 mm),sinking beads(0.6-0.8 mm),silica micropowder,α-Al2O3 micropowder,zirconia and zircon micropowder as fines,and Secar 71 cement(calcium aluminate cement)as the binder.The effects of the coal gangue ceramsites addition(0,6%,12%,18%and 24%,by mass)on the properties of the as-prepared lightweight alumina-silica castables were investigated.The results show that:(1)the addition of coal gangue ceramsites can reduce the sintering shrinkage of the specimens and help to improve the strength and thermal shock resistance;(2)the samples with the addition of coal gangue ceramsites can produce pores in the matrix of the sintered samples,which provides enough space for the growth of CA6 complex solid solution and expands the irregular lamellar structure;(3)with the addition of coal gangue ceramsites increasing,the linear shrinkage of the samples heat treated at 1000 or 1200℃firstly reduces and then increases,the bulk density increases and the apparent porosity decreases;the cold compression strength and the thermal shock resistance of the specimens heat treated at 1200℃firstly increase and then decrease.Thus,the optimal addition of coal gangue ceramsites is 18%. 展开更多

The quantitative method here was applied to study the correlation between online participation and academic achievement.The online participation in this study was represented by the frequency with which students raise their hands in four business English reading classes over a single semester,while academic achievements were measured by the scores of the students in the final examination.The results showed a moderate positive correlation in two of the four classes of students between their online participation and scores on class level.Otherwise,there was no correlation in the other two classes.Since there was no strong correlation between online participation and comprehensive performance in this study,it can be inferred that online participation may not likely cause better comprehensive performance in the final examination. 展开更多

The decision-making units(DMUs)in the modern service industries may produce desirable outputs and undesirable outputs.For the decision makers,some outputs may be more desired than others although all of them are desirable.Considering these characteristics,this work combines the data envelopment analysis(DEA)and the multiple attributes decision-making(MADM)method,to make a reasonable and comprehensive performance evaluation for DMUs.Specifically,three DEA-based models are modified to obtain more reasonable efficiency scores for DMUs.The MADM method is used to determine the weights of outputs based on the preference ratings within the outputs.The efficiency scores are then multiplied by the aggregated outputs quantities to obtain the comprehensive performance scores for evaluation.The effectiveness of the proposed models is demonstrated by extensive numerical experiments. 展开更多
