Usually,the disposal of the emergency is organized as a cross-organization emergency response process(CERP),where various resources are involved.The lack of these resources may cause resource conflicts that can delay or even suspend the CERP,thereby increasing the risk imposed on life,property,and the environment.In this paper,we propose a novel approach to construct conflict-free and efficient CERPs.This approach first presents a branching place-based method to decompose a CERP into a set of execution paths.In essence,an execution path refers to a process fragment without choice structures corresponding to some kind of process instance in the CERP.In practice,each execution of the CERP can only follow such an execution path.Next,it determines whether each execution path contains resource conflicts.If not,then the execution path is considered conflict-free;otherwise,it will be resolved using a delay-based strategy.Lastly,it introduces an execution path-oriented strategy to merge all originally conflict-free and resolved execution paths to form a resolved CERP,in which each execution of it is conflict-free and efficient.The proposed approach is implemented in the tool RCTool,and a group of experiments conducted on actual CERPs demonstrates that it is more effective in constructing conflict-free and efficient CERPs compared to existing proposals,and its computation overhead is also acceptable in practice. 展开更多

Tunnel engineering faces significant challenges due to the complexity and variability of geological conditions.In such contexts,the timely and appropriate adjustment of shield construction parameters(SCP)to match current geological conditions is crucial for ensuring safe and efficient construction.This paper proposes a self-adaptive intelligent decision-making method for risk control in shield tunnel construction,which integrates a multilayer perceptron(MLP)with a multi-objective optimization(MOO)algorithm.Specifically,an MLP combined with particle swarm optimization(PSO)is employed to predict the optimal SCP.These predicted parameters,along with stratum mechanical properties and tunnel depth,serve as inputs for forecasting two critical performance indicators:maximum surface settlement(MSS)and driving speed(DS).The predictive model,coupled with the MOO algorithm,is then utilized to enable dynamic feedback control of the SCP during construction.To demonstrate the applicability of the proposed method,a case study of Qingdao Metro Line 6 is presented.The results indicated that based on the proposed PSO-MLP-non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II(NSGA-II),both MSS and DS are effectively improved.The adaptive decision-making between SCP and geological conditions can be realized. 展开更多

Action errors-unintentional deviations from goals,rules,or standards-are an inevitable part of work in construction.Understanding how individuals and organizations can embrace and"learn through errors"(i.e.,how to handle them effectively)is crucial for contributing to project success.However,within construction,a prevailing belief persists that errors can and should be eliminated,fostering a zero-tolerance mindset.Organizations that adopt this mindset risk stifling their capacity to learn,innovate,and improve profitability.While errors can indeed have negative consequences,they also play a vital role in enabling learning and innovation.Given the limited empirical research on action errors in construction,this paper aims to stimulate inquiry into this promising area of study.It briefly outlines different forms of error orientation and proposes directions for future research relevant to construction organizations.The contributions of this paper are twofold,as it:①advocates for construction organizations to broaden their understanding of errors to enhance their learning capability and②identifies ways in which organizations can improve their capacity to learn and innovate through error management. 展开更多

Oil-fired construction machinery(OCM)is a major source of urban air pollutants and CO2 emissions,and elec-trification is a crucial pathway for improving air quality and achieving China’s dual carbon goals;however,its feasibility has not been fully explored.This study uses data envelopment analysis and the analytic hierarchy process to establish a development potential index,covering technical efficiency,economic cost,application sce-narios,and charging time and range,with an empirical analysis conducted in Beijing.The findings indicated the high feasibility of replacing OCM with electric alternatives,especially within the low-power range.Based on 2023 registered coding dat1,it is projected that by 2030,electrification could reduce regional average con-centrations of CO,NOx,PM2.5 and VOCs by 12.2%to 56.4%and reduce CO2 by 11.7%to 56.9%.Owing to economic considerations,small-and medium-sized machinery are particularly feasible for electrification.Key recommendations include prioritizing the electrification of forklifts,lifting platforms,and small-sized machinery in high-emission areas,particularly in central urban districts.Policies such as carbon taxes,carbon markets,and performance grading systems are suggested to incentivize electrification,along with expanding high-emission restriction zones and improving energy infrastructure to support widespread electrification. 展开更多

In the construction and renovation processes of underground spaces in dense urban environments,there is an increasing demand for space-intensive layouts and special-shaped cross-sections.To address the requirements for special-shaped cross-section design and lightweight structures,this study,against the backdrop of construction of underground road ramp junctions,proposes a servo structural agent for special-shaped cross-sections and its underground excavation method with no foundation pit construction by integrating traditional underground structures with intelligent perception and servo strut control.This agent embeds servo components into the structural system and performs active force control through sensing of stress and deformation.Compared with traditional structures,servo structural agent can adaptively balance the load changes induced by excavation,thereby reducing component size and deformation.On this basis,an undercutting construction method and process are proposed,utilizing dual shield tunneling parallel construction and underground excavation to replace the traditional large working shaft schemes.Through numerical simulations of typical conditions,the servo structural agent is shown to reduce maximum deformation by 30%and peak internal forces by 10%.The related work provides novel approaches for underground excavation construction and safety control in urban areas with dense underground road networks. 展开更多

Bio-carbonation of reactive MgO has been regarded as a promising and eco-friendly method for construction and demolition waste(CDW)cementation in various geotechnical engineering applications.However,the beneficial effect of bio-carbonation of reactive MgO cemented CDW(BCM-samples)can be altered when exposed to wetting-drying cycles induced by extreme climate changes or groundwater fluctuations.To better understand the durability of BCM-samples and their underlying deterioration mechanisms,a series of BCM-samples was prepared to investigate their physical-mechanical performance and microstructure evolution subjected to the wetting-drying cycles.The results indicated that the wetting-drying cycles can deteriorate the BCM-samples,and their physical-mechanical behaviors change quickly at the cycle beginning and then smoothly after 2 cycles.With the increase in cycling,the apparent deterioration with efflorescence and microcrack development can be observed.The mass loss and water absorption rates increased while the dry density,compressional wave velocity,and unconfined compression strength decreased.Urea pre-hydrolysis treatment can significantly improve the durability of BCM-samples,as the more hydrated magnesia carbonates(HMCs)enhance the cementing effects.After 10 cycles,the UCS of pre-hydrolyzed samples decreased 25.4%to 4.45 MPa,while that of ordinary samples decreased 50.7%to 1.20 MPa.The deterioration of BCM-samples caused by wetting-drying cycles can be attributed to two factors.One of the main factors is the structural integrity changes caused by the rapid loss of soluble material at the initial cycling stages.Another factor is the decrease in cementation induced by the loss of brucite and HMCs at the following cycle stages. 展开更多

The shale gas development in China faces challenges such as complex reservoir conditions and high development costs.Based on the pore pressure and geostress coupling theory,this paper studies the geostress evolution laws and fracture network characteristics of shale gas infill wells.A mechanism model of CN platform logging data and geomechanical parameters is established to simulate the influence of parent well’s production on the geostress in the infill well area.It is suggested that with the increase of production time,normal fault stress state and horizontal stress deflection will occur.The smaller the parent well spacing and the longer the production time,the earlier the normal fault stress state appears and the larger the range.Based on the model,the fracture network morphology and construction parameters of infill wells are optimized.parentparentparentparent The results indicate that:1:A well spacing of 500 m achieves a Pareto optimum between“full reserve coverage”and“stress barrier”;2:A parent well recovery degree of 30%corresponds to the critical point of stress reversal,where the lateral deflection rate of the infill fracture is less than 8%and the SRV loss is minimized;3:6-cluster intensive completion with twice the liquid intensity increases the fracture complexity index by 1.7 times,enhances well group EUR by 15.4%,and reduces single-well cost by 22%.This research fills the theoretical gap in the collaborative optimization of“multi-parameter,multi-objective and multi-constraint”and provide parameter optimization basis for shale gas infill well development in China and help to improve the development efficiency and economic benefits. 展开更多

Mobile-Assisted Language Learning(MALL)has garnered substantial attention due to its demonstrated potential for significantly enhancing learner engagement and instructional effectiveness.However,current research primarily foregrounds learners’experiences,often overlooking the emotional trajectories and teachers’identity construction during its implementation.Grounded in Sociocultural Theory(SCT),this study employs a narrative approach to examine the emotional evolution and identity transformation of a university English teacher adopting MALL.Drawing on nearly four years of empirical data—including interviews,dialogues,and reflective journals—the analysis reveals that the teacher progressed through three distinct identity stages:a conservative novice,a natural user,and an enthusiastic adopter.Each stage aligned with an emotional transition,moving from anxiety to acceptance and,ultimately,to confidence.His internalization of MALL unfolded across three sequential phases:establishing connections,deepening learning,and engaging in critical reflection.This study underscores the dynamic interplay between emotion and identity and posits that effective technology integration must attend to teachers’emotional support needs.The findings may offer valuable insights for the professional development of university English teachers and for the strategic integration of educational technology. 展开更多

This study investigated the impact of the xu-argument-based continuation on Chinese high school students’English syntactic complexity captured using verb-argument constructions(VACs)over an 8-week period.Participants were two comparable groups of students:one group worked with English input texts(i.e.,E-E),while the other worked with Chinese input texts with the same content(i.e.,C-E).The results showed that over time,the E-E group exhibited a greater tendency to use a wider range of VACs,such as caused-motion constructions,attributives,passives,and phrasal verbs.At the same time,they reduced their use of simpler VACs like intransitive-motion and simple transitive constructions,especially when compared to the C-E group.This pattern was also evident in the topic-based writing during the posttest.These findings strongly support the effectiveness of xu-argument-based continuation tasks in promoting the development of L2 VAC knowledge.They suggest that tasks combining language input with output can significantly enhance learners’ability to use more sophisticated VACs. 展开更多

The construction industry is a significant contributor to global CO2 emissions,and urgent innovation is needed to mitigate its environmental impact.This paper provides a comprehensive review of scalable approaches for CO2 uptake in construction materials,including the injection of CO2 into fresh concrete,the CO2 curing of precast concrete,and the use of ceramics as CO2 sinks.Among these three approaches,CO2 curing methods for concrete represent the most advanced and widely adopted strategies within industrial practice,with substantial research supporting their effectiveness and scalability.The comparison of carbonation mineralisation across three distinct material groups reveals that the direct injection of CO2 into fresh concrete mixes results in CO2 uptake of less than 3 kg/m3.For the precast concrete elements,the CO2 uptake ranges from 30 to 350 kg/m3,while ceramics can achieve uptake efficiencies up to 23 wt.%under pilot-scale conditions.Achieving efficient CO2 uptake in fresh and precast concrete without compromising mechanical properties relies on precise control over the CO2 dose,a tailored mix design,and optimised curing conditions,while avoiding excessive carbonation that could reduce alkalinity or durability.Valorisation of carbonated materials as supplementary cementitious components or aggregates is identified as an important circular solution,though further research is needed to address regeneration,performance,and standardisation.The review highlights ongoing gaps in life-cycle assessment and industrial-scale validation,and recommends future work on durability and techno-economic optimisation for robust decarbonisation in the cement and concrete industries. 展开更多

Given the challenges associated with the molecular pathology and histopathology of aquatic animals course,namely its highly theoretical nature,complex content,limited teaching resources,and the ineffectiveness of traditional lecture-based methods,an analysis of the course's background and practical requirements was conducted.Subsequently,a teaching case library was developed,and case-based teaching practices were implemented.The evaluation of the application effects indicated that the case library effectively stimulated students'interest and initiative in learning,enhanced their theoretical understanding,problem-solving abilities,and clinical practice skills.Furthermore,the overall performance of students utilizing this case library was significantly superior to that of those in traditional teaching settings.The development and implementation of this case library offer a viable approach and serve as a reference framework for the reform of postgraduate course teaching in aquaculture. 展开更多

China's rapid urbanization has driven extensive construction activities,leading to the widespread deployment of fuel-powered construction machinery and substantial greenhouse gas(GHG)emissions.We combined surveys on machinery units,operational hours,and load factors to quantify GHG emissions(CO2,CH4,and N2O)from construction machinery in China from 2013 to 2022.Emissions projections were modeled using the low emissions analysis platform(LEAP)under baseline,market-driven,policy-guided,and regulatory-driven scenarios,with parameters including machinery stock,electrification rate,and fuel consumption per hour.The results indicate that from 2013 to 2022,the number of machinery units increased significantly,driving parallel growth in CO2 and N2O emissions,whereas CH4 emissions demonstrated consistent annual decreases because of emission intensity.CO2 equivalent(CO2 eq)emissions increased by 17% from 2013 to 2021 and then decreased by 2.6% to 7.3×107t CO2 eq in 2022,with CO2 accounting for 98%-99% of total GHG emissions and N2O and CH4 accounting for1.2% and 0.1%,respectively.The primary emission sources were China StageⅢmachinery(69%),excavators(64%),and high-power equipment(>130 kW,contributing 30%-90%).Spatially,East China accounted for 47% of national emissions in 2022,followed by Central China(18%),which is related mainly to the advanced economic development and infrastructure construction demands.The scenario analysis showed that reducing machinery numbers,enhancing electrification,and improving fuel efficiency could yield substantial mitigation benefits,with the regulatory-driven scenario achieving up to 97% GHG reduction potential. 展开更多

The current research of the construction of reconfigurable deployable polyhedral mechanisms(RDPMs) has predominantly focused on regular and Archimedean polyhedra.However,the construction methods for RDPMs based on non-regular polyhedra remain largely unexplored.This paper presents a novel method to construct RDPMs with the circumscribed sphere.First,the mathematical constraints for the polyhedra based on circumscribed spheres are proposed,including single,double,and multiple circumscribed circles.By utilizing the reconfigurable properties of angulated elements,a series of reconfigurable angulated elements(RAEs) with different included angles are designed.A general method for constructing RDPMs is proposed by inserting RAEs into the vertex axes and the face axes of non-regular polyhedra with circumscribed spheres.Two RDPMs are constructed,which can achieve Hoberman sphere motion(HSM) and radially reciprocating motion(RRM).Next,the degree of freedom in HSM configuration is determined by using screw theory.Finally,RDPMs with a large ratio are constructed by inserting straight elements into RAEs.A prototype is manufactured to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.This research proposes a generalized method for constructing RDPMs with the circumscribed sphere,thus significantly expanding the range of polyhedral bases applicable to RDPMs. 展开更多

The intelligent pest-monitoring light trap based on machine vision employs specific light spectra to attract pests,infrared heating to eliminate pests,and artificial intelligence models to recognize and count them.Achieving optimal model performance requires a high-quality insect annotated dataset.However,traditional manual annotation is expert-dependent,time-consuming,and inefficient for large-scale multi-class insect labeling.This study establishes an efficient,few-shot learning approach to construct a large-scale light-trapped insect dataset through a two-stage annotation framework:detection followed by classification.Specifically,a MLTIDD addresses scale and receptive field disparities between large and tiny insects.Based on a fine-tuned Grounding DINO,SAM and SAHI are integrated to detect insects at multiple scales.Subsequently,InsectSSRL,an iBOT-based self-supervised method,learns robust insect feature representations from the extensive set of unlabeled insect sub-images detected by MLTIDD.It enhances feature extraction capability for insect subimages through three proxy tasks.This feature extractor supports a classification model to pre-classify insect sub-images.Following expert correction,labels are traced back to original images to complete annotation work for the light-trapped insect dataset.Experimental results demonstrate that under limited samples,MLTIDD achieved 79.6%average precision(AP)50-95 and 90.8%average recall(AR),surpassing DINO by 7.0 and 4.7 percentage points.InsectSSRL attained 85.87%top-1 accuracy in k-NN evaluation.In few-shot classification,Swin-T pre-trained with InsectSSRL and fine-tuned on 5%of InsectID achieved 80.35%accuracy,exceeding iBOT by 2.08 and COCO-based transfer learning by 11.3 percentage points.The proposed pipeline improved mAP50-95 by 10.91 and AR by 8.26 percentage points compared to DINO and iBOT,while reducing expert annotation time by approximately 80%relative to manual labeling. 展开更多

To investigate the impact of temporary structures on the mechanical behavior of shaped bridge towers during the construction process,the Dianbu River Special Bridge was selected as the engineering background.A finite element model of the middle tower column during the construction stage was established using ABAQUS to analyze the effects of key parameters,including the angle and pretension of temporary cables,as well as the wall thickness and diameter of temporary diagonal braces.The study examines how these parameters influence the stresses at the towergirder consolidation.The results indicate that the angle of temporary cables significantly affects the tensile stresses at the tower-girder consolidation,while its impact on compressive stresses is minimal.Among all parameters,the pretension of temporary cables has the most pronounced effect on the stresses at the tower-girder consolidation.In contrast,the wall thickness of temporary diagonal braces has only a minor influence,whereas the diameter of temporary diagonal braces has an almost negligible impact.These findings provide valuable insights for optimizing the design and arrangement of temporary support structures in similar bridge construction projects. 展开更多

Effect of embankment construction quality on stability of Aketao tailings dam under rainfall-seismic coupling 认领 引用

The heightening treatment of tailings dams may lead to catastrophic dam failure accidents.The Aketao tailings dam,with a height of 22 m,has been in operation for 14 years.Increasing dam height was considered to meet new demands on tailing management.The influence of added drainage layers and improved relative density of on slope stability was analyzed through a series of field survey,laboratory tests,numerical simulation under heavy rainfall and earthquakes.The research results showed that when the dam height is increased from 22 m to 85 m,accompanied by added drainage layers and improved relative density of the tailings,the factor of safety for slope stability increased significantly.The burial depth of the infiltration line increased with added drainage layers and approached a stable value for excess of 3 layers.Similar results were obtained for increased relative density of the tailings,where relative density of 0.7 was determined optimum minimum value for marked improvement.Furthermore,the finite element model simulations showed marked decrease in magnitude and spread of liquefied zones on the dam surface with the added drainage layers and densification of the tailings.The reduction in occurrence of liquefied zones was attributed to the significant drop in excess pore water pressures inside the dam body.Similarly,marked decrease in the magnitude of maximum horizontal and vertical deformations due to earthquake loading was predicted,where the location of the maximum deformation appeared to shift from the dam surface to the interior of the dam.From both safety and economic perspective,it is recommended that the relative density of the tailings embankment be no less than 0.7,and that 3 horizontal drainage layers be arranged at equal lifts along the heightened portion of the dam.The research results provide theoretical basis for safe heightening of similar tailings dam. 展开更多
