Scanning Electron Microsco... Sr2Al2SiO7:Ce^3+, Tb^3+ white emitting phosphors were fabricated using the sol-gel method. X-Ray Powder Diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed the formation of Sr2Al2SiO7:Ce^3+, Tb^3+. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) observation indicated that the microstructure of the phosphor consisted of regular fine grains with an average size of about 0.5-1 μm. Luminescence properties were analyzed by measuring the photoluminescence spectra. The Ce^3+, Tb^3+-codoped Sr2Al2SiO7 phosphors showed four main emission peaks: one at 414 nm for Ce^3+ and three at 482, 543, and 588 nm for Tb^3+. The emission spectra of the samples with different doping concentrations showed that the Tb^3+ emission was dominant because of the persistent energy transfer from Ce^3+. The decay characteristic was better than that prepared by the solid-state process in the comparable condition. The codoped phosphor displayed long persistent white phosphorescence. 展开更多

The present study involves the preparation of TiO 2/ SiO 2nanocrystals and their application in self-cleaning wool-polyester fabrics.The TiO 2/ SiO 2nanocrystals were successfully synthesized and deposited onto wool-polyester fabrics using the low-temperature sol-gel technique.The as-prepared nanocomposites and the nanocomposites coated samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction( XRD) and scanning electron microscopy( SEM),respectively.The XRD and SEM results showed that the single-phase anatase nanocrystallites were formed and loaded on the fabric surface successfully.The photocatalytic activities of TiO 2-coated and TiO 2/ SiO 2-coated wool-polyester fabrics were measured by studying photodegradation of methylene blue dye.Comparison of the photocatalytic activity of the coated samples reveals superiority of TiO 2/ SiO 2modified sample with respect to that of pure TiO 2modified sample.Our observations indicate that by applying this technique to the fabrics,self-cleaning materials can be designed for practical application. 展开更多

The influence of B ions and annealing temperature on luminescent properties of phosphors were studied by using fluorescence spectrum, X-ray diffraction, DSC, TG/DTG analysis and IR spectrum. The heat treatment has a large effect on the luminescent properties. Under 248 nm excitation, the emission spectrum of samples heated shows characteristic emission peaks of Eu^3+ ions are, which are due to the transitions of ^5D0→^7FJ(J = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) of Eu^3+ , respectively. The transition of ^5D0→^7F1 is split into two peaks. 展开更多

Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5SiO4 material was synthesized by a citric acid-assisted sol-gel method. The influence of the stoichiometric ratio value of n(citric acid) to n(Fe2+-Mn2+) on the electrochemical properties of Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5... Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5SiO4 material was synthesized by a citric acid-assisted sol-gel method. The influence of the stoichiometric ratio value of n(citric acid) to n(Fe2+-Mn2+) on the electrochemical properties of Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5SiO4 was studied. The final sample was identified as Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5SiO4 with a Pmn21 monoclinic structure by X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal phases components and crystal phase structure of the Li2Fe0.5Mn0.4SiO4 material were improved as the increase of the stoichiometric ratio value of n(citric acid) to n(Fe2+-Mn2+). Field-emission scanning electron microscopy verified that the Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5SiO4 particles are agglomerates of Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5SiO4 primary particles with a geometric mean diameter of 220 nm. The Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5SiO4 sample was used as an electrode material for rechargeable lithium ion batteries, and the electrochemical measurements were carried out at room temperature. The Li2Fe0.5Mn0.5SiO4 electrode delivered a first discharge capacity of 230.1 mAh/g at the current density of 10 mA/g in first cycle and about 162 mAh/g after 20 cycles at the current density of 20 mA/g. 展开更多

本文研究了HfO2 /SiO2 多层高反膜脉冲YAG激光预处理提高抗激光损伤阈值的机理。通过分析和计算 ,我们提出了一种物理模型 ,即热扩散模型。由于扩散结果 ,导致HfO2 膜层的折射率增加 ,致使HfO2 、SiO2 膜层交界处光驻波波峰降低 。

用电子束蒸发法制备了Hf O2/Si O2增透膜样品,并进行退火。测量未退火样品与退火样品的透射光谱,发现退火样品的光谱明显向短波方向移动,原因是退火后薄膜中的吸附水被去除。使用Nd:YAG激光器在"S-on-1"模式下对样品进行了激... 用电子束蒸发法制备了Hf O2/Si O2增透膜样品,并进行退火。测量未退火样品与退火样品的透射光谱,发现退火样品的光谱明显向短波方向移动,原因是退火后薄膜中的吸附水被去除。使用Nd:YAG激光器在"S-on-1"模式下对样品进行了激光诱导损伤处理。两种样品的损伤形貌均主要是损伤坑。考虑到损伤的成因是基底的亚表面微裂纹中的吸收颗粒吸收激光能量后导致裂纹扩大,最终形成损伤坑。基于这种损伤机制,退火对损伤没有明显影响。通过显微镜在损伤形貌中观察到了冲击波传输形成的波动条纹。 展开更多

SiO 2-GeO 2 sols and gel glass coatings with different contents of germanium dioxide were fabricated.Stable and transparent sols could only be obtained when the content of GeO 2 was under 35%.It is shown by SEM that only one continuous phase is observed in the coating of 65SiO 2·35GeO 2 and plenty of Ge,O and Si were all found in it.However,the separated phase is found in the coating of 60SiO 2·40GeO 2 and a large number of Ge and O.It is proved by the Raman scattering investigation that the separated phase in the coating of 60SiO 2·40GeO 2 is germanium dioxide.The congeries of hydrolystates of Cl 3GeCH 2CH 2COOH play the main role in the formation of the separated phase when the proportion of GeO 2 is much higher.Si-O-Ge,Si-O-Si,and Ge-O-Ge bonds form in the coating of 65SiO 2·35GeO 2 and this coating is homogenous. 展开更多

Olive oil doped Nanosilica is successfully prepared by wet chemical synthesis method. Samples were analyzed by a variety of techniques, including X-ray diffraction, FTIR, absorption and emission spectrometers to report the capability of Sol-Gel technology on preparing of silica monolith as a host material for Olive oil, and investigate the effect of converting Olive oil to a solid state on its optical properties. Some absorption bands of Olive oil are disappearing from absorption spectrum of doped silica. Only single strong fluorescence peak was appearing in fluorescence spectrum of pure Olive oil at wavelength around 678 nm which attributed to chlorophylls, while fluorescence spectrum to doped sample shows two strong fluorescence peaks at the wavelength 681 nm and 585 nm which attributed to chlorophylls and Vitamin E respectively. The doping process enhances fluorescence activity of Olive oil through enhancing intensity of the fluorescence peak corresponding to Vitamin E. Absorption and fluorescence spectrums to doped silica sample give a good indication in direction of using Sol-Gel technique to prepare?for Olive oil doped SiO2 as an optical active material. 展开更多

A new anatase/SiO2 nanocomposite was synthesized by sol-gel method at room temperature using titanium tetrachloride and tetraethylorthosilicate as raw materials. Characterization of the product was carried out by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) specific surface areas, Thermogravimetry analysis (TGA), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), and UV-vis absorption spectroscopy. Thermal phase transformation studies of composite were carried out up to 1100°C which showed the establishment of anatase TiO2 phase. The presence of some tetrahedral coordination of TiO2 species in SiO2 matrix was confirmed by UV-Vis study. The produced TiO2/SiO2 nanocomposite has good photocatalytic properties due to its anatase phase, existence of tetrahedral coordination of TiO2 in the SiO2 matrix and very large surface area. Furthermore, the synthesized anatase/SiO2 shows significant adsorption ability towards Congo Red (CR) azo dye in comparison with the pure commercial TiO2 which is known as Degussa, P25. 展开更多
