Methods The study sample was collected from May 2024 to May 2025, comprising 80 patients who underwent radical surgery for cervical cancer at our hospital. Participants were randomly divided into two groups using the red-blue ball method: Group A (n=40, receiving conventional nursing care) and Group B (n=40, receiving the ORTCC nursing model combined with nutritional dietary intervention). Comparative analyses were conducted on pre-and post-intervention levels of gastrointestinal hormones [gastrin (GAS), motilin (MTL), somatostatin (SS)], sleep quality scores, gastrointestinal function recovery, and complication rates between the two groups. Results All parameters in Group B were significantly superior to those in Group A (P<0.05). Conclusion Integrating the ORTCC nursing model with nutritional dietary intervention into postoperative care for cervical cancer patients demonstrates superior efficacy compared to traditional approaches in enhancing overall recovery outcomes, particularly by promoting gastrointestinal function recovery, improving sleep quality, and reducing postoperative complication risks, making it worthy of clinical adoption.展开更多

Methods From January 2022 to December 2023, 103 permanent residents in Jianye District were selected and randomly divided into a normal weight group (51 individuals) and an overweight and obesity group (52 individuals). Their BMI and blood pressure were measured, and the prevalence rate, grade distribution, and correlation were analyzed. Results The prevalence rate of hypertension in the overweight and obesity group was 42.31%, significantly higher than that in the normal weight group (17.65%) (P<0.05);the proportion of grade 3 hypertension was 77.27%, much higher than that in the control group (11.11%) (P<0.05). BMI was positively correlated with systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure (P<0.05). Conclusion Overweight and obesity increase the risk of hypertension, and BMI is closely related to blood pressure. Standardized management of BMI can reduce the burden of disease and improve cardiovascular health, making it valuable for community promotion.展开更多

摘要To the Editor:Depression is a major contributor to the global burden of disease and disability, posing a critical public health challenge.Meta-analyses have demonstrated that vitamin D supplementation significantly reduces major depressive symptoms(MDS).1 However, recent large-scale randomised controlled trials(RCTs)2-4 have yielded conflicting evidence, indicating that vitamin D supplementation may not necessarily reduce MDS risk. This discrepancy may be attributed to variations in baseline serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D(25(OH)D)levels,insufficiently characterised doseresponse relationships and uncertain optimal 25(OH)D thresholds.

摘要The root-to-shoot(R/S)ratio is a critical indicator of the balance between root biomass and shoot biomass, representing the ecological strategies and adaptive responses of plants to environmental conditions. However, the patterns of change in community R/S ratios during forest succession and their response to moisture levels across broad geographic gradients remains unclear.Based on forest biomass data from a national field inventory of 5,825 plots conducted across China between 2011 and 2015,this study looked into allocating biomass shoots and roots at the early, middle, and late stages of growth in plantations and succession in natural forests, and evaluated how moisture availability influences this allocation. The results revealed a significant decline in R/S ratios from early to late stages for both plantations and natural forests.Shoot and root biomass in plantations grew isometrically during the early and middle succession stages but shifted to allometric growth in the late stage, with the slope of the log-transformed shoot-root biomass relationship differing significantly across growth stages.Natural forests,in contrast, maintained isometric growth across successional stages, showing no significant variation in the slope of the log-transformed shoot-root biomass relationship.Environmental factors, particularly moisture levels, strongly influenced R/S ratios.Moisture levels significantly affected size-corrected R/S ratios, particularly in the middle stage of plantations and the early and middle stages of natural forests, supporting the hypothesis of optimal allocation. These findings suggest that in water-limited regions, forest management should prioritize drought-tolerant,deep-rooted native species, encourage mixed-species planting in the early stage, and reduce logging intensity in mature plantations.Conserving natural forests to maintain successional dynamics is essential for long-term ecological resilience. These findings emphasize the importance of balancing productivity with ecological sustainability by adapting practices to specific environments and forest types under climate change.

摘要Background The evolution of Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)resistance in cotton pink bollworm(Pectinophora gossypiella)has renewed reliance on insecticides, making precise application timing vital due to the pest’s internal feeding habit. This study refines the economic injury level(EIL)for pink bollworm using pest-infestation gradients and yield loss-damage functions. The EILs were estimated and converted to action thresholds(75%of EIL).The sensitivity to control costs, cotton prices, and control efficacy was considered in calculating the EIL.Additionally, the relationship between national pheromone-trap data(2015-2023)and green boll infestation was examined. Results Based on the average cotton prices, optimum control cost, and desirable control efficacy,EILs ranged from 7.1%to 8.6%of boll infestation, with corresponding action thresholds of 5.3%and 6.4%for120 DAS crop stages, respectively.Control efficacy emerged as the most influential factor on EILs.Corresponding pheromone trap catch-based action thresholds were revised to 4.5 and 5.7 moths per trap per night, lower than the existing 8.0 moths per trap per night tied to a 10%boll infestation threshold.Validation using multi-location data supported refined estimates. Conclusions The study demonstrates that maintaining high control efficacy is central to keeping EILs low and enabling timely intervention against pink bollworm.Effective control reduces the pest’s damage potential, lowers the onset of economic loss, and supports earlier, more reliable ET-based actions. These results collectively ensure better suppression of pests and promote economically efficient, agronomically robust pest management.

摘要Human settlement quality(HSQ)is a critical component of sustainable urban development, directly affecting residents'health,well-being,and quality of life. However, most existing studies rely on expert-defined service radii and indicator weights at the city scale, overlooking residents'perceptions and failing to capture fine-grained variations at the community level. This study proposes a Perceptual-Scale Optimized Random Forest(PSO-RF)to enable human-centered,community-scale HSQ evaluation by integrating subjective satisfaction data with objective environmental indicators. The framework captures multi-scale perceptual differences in environmental features and determines the optimal measurement scale for each indicator, leading to more accurate HSQ assessments.Five case cities in China and Germany—Beijing,Changsha,Shenzhen,Berlin, and Munich—were selected to reflect diverse regional,socio-economic,and developmental contexts, based on multi-source spatiotemporal data from 2010,2015,and 2020.The findings reveal that:(1)Residents perceive HSQ across two dominant spatial scales:local(860 m)and accessible(2,050 m);(2)Chinese communities emphasize socio-economic conditions within close proximity, while German communities prioritize broader natural environmental factors;(3)The PSORF model reduces evaluation error by 9.6%compared to fixed-radius approaches by identifying indicator-specific perceptual scales;(4)The generated HSQ and shortcoming maps uncover localized human settlement challenges and offer practical guidance for targeted urban planning. This study advances the methodological foundation for perception-driven livability research and provides actionable insights for precision urban governance.
摘要In light of the service interruption risks that the automatic ticket checking system may encounter following the full implementation of e-tickets,we conducted a level-by-level analysis of significant abnormal events that could occur throughout the e-ticket checking service process.Based on this analysis,we developed emergency response plans for various scenarios:To address the risk of passenger service record(PSR)cluster failures at the CHINA RAILWAY level,e-ticket data is remotely backed up to systems at the CR regional group level①.This serves as a data source for ticket verification during abnormal events. In the event of abnormal occurrences in the ticket checking system data at the CR regional group level, the ticket checking operation process is adjusted, and service is handled outside of the database.Additionally,column-type ticket checking machines are utilized to change the start and stop times of gate-type ticket checking machines, allowing for dynamic adjustment of the ticket checking plan by the ticket checking management system when the database is unavailable. To respond to abnormalities of the ticket checking system at the railway station level, handheld ticket checking machines can be employed as an emergency ticket verification method.Alternatively, leveraging the railway integrity system,a procedure is in place where ID cards are scanned first, followed by ticket checking, ensuring the smooth boarding and alighting of passengers at the station.Recent emergency drills and real-world emergency response applications during ticket checking operations have demonstrated the feasibility of these emergency plans at various levels of the ticket checking system. These measures can effectively meet the emergency response requirements of the automatic ticket checking system under full e-ticket conditions.
摘要Objective To investigate the effects of the ORTCC nursing model combined with nutritional dietary intervention on gastrointestinal hormone levels and sleep quality in patients undergoing radical surgery for cervical cancer. Conclusion Integrating the ORTCC nursing model with nutritional dietary intervention into postoperative care for cervical cancer patients demonstrates superior efficacy compared to traditional approaches in enhancing overall recovery outcomes, particularly by promoting gastrointestinal function recovery, improving sleep quality, and reducing postoperative complication risks, making it worthy of clinical adoption.
摘要Objective To analyze the current status of hypertension among permanent residents in Jianye District and the correlation between body mass index (BMI) and blood pressure, providing a basis for community prevention and control. Standardized management of BMI can reduce the burden of disease and improve cardiovascular health, making it valuable for community promotion.

摘要This study aims to explore the impact of fatigue induced by different limb exercises on cerebral cortical oxygenation levels and functional connectivity strength using functional near-infrared spectroscopy(fNIRS).Fatigue was induced using an upper limb ergometer or a lower limb ergometer, with the load increasing gradually each minute.fNIRS covering the prefrontal cortex and motor cortex were used to collect data during the resting state, both before and after fatigue induction.A two-way ANOVA was conducted to examine differences in oxyhemoglobin(HbO2)and functional connectivity before and after fatigue induction in both groups, with the significance level set at 0.05.Exercise-induced fatigue in both the upper and lower limbs leads to a significant decrease in cerebral cortical oxygenation levels.Upper limb fatigue leads to a significant reduction in functional connectivity, there were significant decreases in connectivity within the motor cortex, between the motor cortex and frontal regions, and between the right ventrolateral prefrontal cortex and other frontal regions.Conversely,no significant changes were observed before and after lower limb fatigue.Future studies should focus on examining the extent to which how changes in the cerebral cortex, induced by exercise fatigue, are linked to exercise-and/or performance-related outcomes.

摘要Groundwater level(GWL)is a key indicator used to accurately assess groundwater resources and form the foundation for ef-fective groundwater management. This paper integrates a Gate Recurrent Unit(GRU)model with a Multi-head Self-attention mechan-ism(MSAM-GRU)to simulate GWLs in both confined and unconfined aquifers simultaneously. The model innovatively captures the lag times between GWLs in the unconfined aquifer and precipitation,as well as between GWLs in the confined aquifer and the upper aquifer. We have assessed the effectiveness of the proposed model using a case study in the Beijing Plain,China from January 2005 to December 2020.With the consideration of lag times, the results indicated that the MSAM-GRU model exhibits a maximum 67%and 73%reduction in RMSE compared to the Attention mechanism-GRU(AM-GRU)and GRU model,respectively.MSAM-GRU model exhibited a 31%reduction in RMSE and a 0.12 increase in R2 compared to the same model that do not account for lag time.In Region I,the shortest lag time of GWL in the unconfined aquifer was two months, while that in the confined aquifer was three months, indicating a longer delayed response in the confined aquifer.MSAM-GRU model considering lag time, was then applied to simulate the GWLs in the unconfined aquifer under different scenarios and to analyze whether GWL fluctuations affect subway operations. The simulation res-ults showed that under the scenario 1,the GWL in the unconfined aquifer would rise above the depth of subway station floor,threaten-ing the operation of subways. This study can provide reliable technical support for the accurate simulation of GWLs in multi-aquifer systems.
摘要Synthetic gauge fields provide an effective method to simulate pseudo-magnetic fields in photonic systems, facilitating the realization of condensed matter phenomena in optics. We experimentally investigate lasing behaviors in photonic crystals subject to strain-induced synthetic gauge fields.Artificial strain generates giant pseudo-magnetic fields, leading to the formation of flat Landau levels in the photonic band structure. These flat bands possess extremely low group velocity and high density of states, resulting in enhanced light–matter interaction and favorable conditions for lasing. We successfully observed lasing from these Landau levels at room temperature, confirming the effectiveness of synthetic strain in controlling photonic band structures.Furthermore,we explore one-dimensional helical edge states that arise at the interface between two photonic crystals with opposite pseudo-magnetic fields. These edge states are analogous to those found in quantum Hall systems and exhibit robust, unidirectional propagation. In finite-size structures, reflections at the endpoints of the one-dimensional path lead to traveling wave resonances. We observed lasing from these resonant edge states. Our findings highlight the versatility of synthetic gauge fields in enabling tunable and robust lasing in photonic systems, opening new avenues for active topological photonic devices.
摘要BACKGROUND Although the pathogenesis and management of gastric cancer(GC)have made significant progress, patient prognosis remains unsatisfactory.Patients’psychological well-being should also be prioritized in addition to their physical health.AIM To investigate resilience among GC patients, identify determinants, and examine its association with serum neurotransmitters(NTs).METHODS We recruited 141 GC cases(research group)and 120 healthy individuals(control group).Surveys were conducted for all participants, encompassing the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(for resilience assessment),the Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(for coping strategy evaluation),the General Self-Efficacy Scale(for self-efficacy quantification),and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale/Self-Rating Depression Scale(for emotional distress measurement).Analyses were then conducted to identify inter-group differences in serum NTs,to pinpoint correlations between NTs and resilience(via Spearman’s test),and to determine resilienceassociated predictors(using multivariate analysis).RESULTS The group scored 65.44±6.97(mean)on the global Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(tenacity:34.70±5.32,selfimprovement:21.13±3.91,optimism:99.61±1.40).Regarding coping styles, the confrontation, avoidance, and resignation dimension scores were 17.45±1.56,17.22±1.47,and 10.01±1.08,respectively.The mean self-efficacy score(General Self-Efficacy Scale)was 27.00±3.74.GC cases exhibited reduced serum dopamine,5-hydroxytryptamine,and norepinephrine than controls(P<0.05).As to resilience-associated predictors, males, higher education, and greater per capita monthly income were all independently linked to higher resilience, while elevated anxiety/depressive symptoms and advanced-stage cancer showed an inverse correlation with resilience.CONCLUSION Reduced resilience and serum NTs,with the two being strongly correlated, are common in GC patients.Clinically, targeted psychological support is critical, particularly for those at-risk populations(e.g.,females,lower socioeconomic status, limited education).

摘要The initial bearing age of a backfill is primarily determined by the roof collapse time, which critically affects its performance during the hydration stage. In this study,96 h uniaxial compression creep and permeability tests were conducted to investigate the creep behavior of cemented backfill at different stress levels and initial bearing ages and their effects on strength and permeability. The results indicated that with an increase in the stress level, the cumulative axial strain of 28 d backfill increases from 0.962% to 1.647%.As the initial bearing age of the backfill increased, the axial strain curve in the creep deceleration stage gradually changed from concave to convex.Simultaneously, the strain rate curve of the backfill in the creep deceleration stage was characterized by a sawtooth-like fluctuation^and the creep time in this interval was shortened from 15-25(3 d)to 0-10 h(28 d).Additionally, there were no evident macroscopic cracks on the surface of the backfill after the creep test, but its compressive strength and permeability exhibited significant differences.Static load exerted a significant strengthening effect on the 3-d-old backfill, with its compressive strength index increased by 19.95%,while the permeability index decreased by 30.90%.In contrast, static load caused damage to the backfill on the 28 d,leading to 31% decrease in compressive strength and 116.29% increase in permeability. Therefore, the stress level and initial load-bearing age had a significant impact on the mechanical properties of the backfill under static load. These findings provide valuable insights and practical references for on-site safety applications and strength design of backfills.

摘要Objective:This study aims to explore the correlations between anxiety levels, family resilience, and hope levels in postoperative patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, providing a theoretical basis for reducing anxiety in postoperative patients. Methods:Convenience sampling was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among 150 patients who underwent prostatic hyperplasia resection in our hospital from June 2024 to December 2025.The questionnaire included a general information questionnaire,an anxiety scale,a family resilience scale, and a hope level scale.Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the factors influencing anxiety after prostatic hyperplasia surgery. Results:A total of 140 questionnaires were retrieved, with an effective recovery rate of 93.33%.Patients scored 51.71±16.49 in anxiety level,29.67±10.44 in family resilience, and 29.67±11.44 in hope level.Anxiety level was negatively correlated with erectile function(r=-0.379,p<0.001).Negatively correlated with family resilience(r=-0.380,p<0.001),negatively correlated with hope level(r=-0.476,p<0.001),The results of multiple linear regression showed that age, chronic disease status, smoking status, family resilience, and hope level were factors influencing anxiety levels in patients after benign prostatic hyperplasia surgery(p<0.05).Conclusion:The anxiety level of patients after prostatic hyperplasia surgery is at a moderate level. The improvement of family resilience and hope level is of great significance in postoperative rehabilitation. It is recommended to strengthen psychological support and family intervention in clinical management, and pay attention to older patients, those with chronic diseases and smokers to improve the overall quality of life and treatment effect of patients.
摘要BackgroundIt's crucial to study the effect of changes in thresholds(T)and most comfortable levels(M)on behavioral measurements in young children using cochlear implants. This would help the clinician with the optimization and validation of programming parameters.ObjectiveThe study has attempted to describe the changes in behavioral responses with modification of T and M levels.MethodsTwenty-five participants in the age range 5 to 12 years using HR90K/HiFocus1J or HR90KAdvantage/HiFocus1J with Harmony speech processors participated in the study.A decrease in T levels,a rise in T levels,or a decrease in M levels in the everyday program were used to create experimental programs.Sound field thresholds and speech perception were measured at 50 dBHL for three experimental and everyday programs.ConclusionThe results indicated that only reductions of M levels resulted in significantly(p<0.01)poor aided thresholds and speech perception. On the other hand, variation in T levels did not have significant changes in either sound field thresholds or speech perception. The results highlight that M levels must be correctly established in order to prevent decreased speech perception and audibility.
摘要BACKGROUND Cold-inducible RNA-binding protein(CIRP)is related to a family of stressinduced RNA-binding proteins. It is primarily found in the nucleus, where it regulates transcription.Under stress,CIRP translocates to the cytoplasm where it modulates translation;a subset is secreted as extracellular CIRP(eCIRP)which is a damage-associated molecular pattern(DAMP)molecule that stimulates the production of inflammatory mediators.Elevated blood eCIRP levels may foster immune tolerance and facilitate tumor growth.Increased CIRP levels have been noted in various malignancies including colorectal cancer(CRC).This study’s objective was to determine plasma eCIRP levels before and after minimally invasive colorectal resection(MICR)for CRC.AIM To assess plasma eCIRP levels prior to and following minimally invasive colorectal resection in the context of cancer pathology.METHODS MICR patients from an IRB-approved dataissue bank for whom plasma samples were available were eligible.Plasma specimens were obtained preoperatively(preop)and at least 3 time’s postop[between postoperative day(POD)1-41];late samples were grouped into 7-day blocks and were considered separate time points.eCIRP levels were assessed via enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(pg/mL)and results presented as mean±SD,analysis with Wilcoxon paired t-test.RESULTS A total of 83 CRC patients who underwent MICR[colon 66%,rectal 34%;laparoscopic-assisted(LA),70%;handassisted laparoscopic(HAL),30%]were studied. The mean preop eCIRP level was 896.8±757.0 pg/mL.Elevations in mean plasma levels(P=<0.001)were noted on POD1(2549±2632 pg/mL,n=83),POD3(1871±1362 pg/mL,n=77),POD7-13(1788±1403 pg/mL,n=57),POD14-20(1473±738.8 pg/mL,n=30),and POD21-27(1681±1375 pg/mL,n=21).No significant differences were noted at POD 28-41.Higher values were noted in the HAL’s(vs LA)group, however, there were more rectal cancers in the former.CONCLUSION Elevated plasma eCIRP levels persist for a month post MICR for CRC(change from baseline,77%-184%);highest values seen on POD1.The initial surge may be due to the acute inflammatory response while later elevations may be related to wound healing and remodeling. The higher levels noted in the HAL’s group(with greater IL and more rectal cases)suggest the extent of surgical trauma impacts eCIRP levels.Further investigations are needed.

摘要BACKGROUND Diabetic kidney disease(DKD)has become the leading cause of end-stage renal disease. The disease characteristics, morbidity, and renal function progression rate of patients with DKD are all related to sex. This suggests that sex hormones may play an important role in changing renal function in patients with diabetes. There have been only a few studies on the correlation between sex hormones and DKD,which have contradictory conclusions.AIM To investigate the relationship between circulating sex hormone levels and DKD in men and postmenopausal women with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).METHODS This retrospective cross-sectional study included 356 patients with T2DM.Pearson or Spearman rank correlation analyses assessed the relationships between sex hormone levels and renal function indices.By adjusting for age, body mass index, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, duration of diabetes, use of sodium-glucose cotrasporter-2 inhibitor, use of glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist, hypertension, use of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor/angiotensin receptor blocker/angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitor, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic peripheral vascular disease, triglyceride, uric acid, and hemoglobin A1c,multiple linear regression and logistic regression analyses were conducted to identify factors influencing the urinary albumin/creatinine ratio(UACR)and DKD.RESULTS In men, dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate levels were inversely associated with log-transformed UACR after adjustment for covariate factors[regression coefficient(β)=-0.691,95%confidence interval(CI):-1.241 to-0.141 for quartile 4 vs quartile 1;P=0.006 for trend].Elevated levels of estradiol were positively associated with DKD[odds ratio(OR)=3.097,95%CI:1.083-8.856 for quartile 4 vs quartile 1;P=0.041 for trend],and higher luteinizing hormone(LH)levels were similarly associated with DKD(OR=4.164,95%CI:1.30-13.330 for quartile 4 vs quartile 1;P=0.048 for trend). In postmenopausal women,LH levels were positively correlated with log-transformed UACR and DKD(β=1.039,95%CI:0.284-1.794 for quartile 4 vs quartile 1;P=0.006 for trend and OR=15.117,95%CI:2.191-104.326 for quartile 4 vs quartile 1;P=0.004 for trend).Follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH)levels were also positively associated with DKD(OR=9.588,95%CI:1.680-54.709 for quartile 4 vs quartile 1;P=0.014 for trend).CONCLUSION In men with T2DM,elevated levels of estradiol and LH levels were positively associated with increased risk of DKD.In postmenopausal women with T2DM,high FSH and LH levels were positively associated with increased risk of DKD.
摘要The increasing dependence on fossil fuels and the consequent CO2emissions have prompted urgent energy and environmental challenges[1,2].Solar-driven CO2conversion into value-added fuels offers a sustainable and promising solution to these issues[3].However,the practical implementation of CO2photoreduction is constrained by low efficiency, primarily due to the rapid recombination of photogenerated electron-hole pairs[4].
