Composite supports CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3(CZA) and CeO2-ZrO2-Al2O3-La2O3(CZALa) were prepared by co-precipitation method. Palladium catalysts were prepared by impregnation and their purification ability for CH4, CO and NOx in the mixture gas simulated the exhaust from natural gas vehicles (NGVs) operated under stoichiometric condition was investigated. The effect of La2O3 on the physicochemical properties of supports and catalysts was characterized by various techniques. The characterizations with X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Raman spectroscopy revealed that the doping of La2O3 restrained effectively the sintering of crystallite particles, maintained the crystallite particles in nanoscale and stabilized the crystal phase after calcination at 1000 ℃. The results of N2-adsorption, H2-temperatnre-programmed reduction (H2-TPR) and oxygen storage capacity (OSC) measurements indicated that La2O3 improved the textural properties, reducibility and OSC of composite supports. Activity testing results showed that the catalysts exhibit excellent activities for the simultaneous removal of methane, CO and NOx in the simulated exhaust gas. The catalysts supported on CZALa showed remarkable thermal stability and catalytic activity for the three pollutants, especially for NOx. The prepared palladium catalysts have high ability to remove NOx, CH4 and CO, and they can be used as excellent catalysts for the purification of exhaust from NGVs operated under stoichiometric condition. The catalysts reported in this work also have significant potential in industrial application because of their high performance and low cost. 展开更多

Two Al2O3/Cu composites containing 0.24 wt.% Al2O3 and 0.60 wt.% Al2O3 separately are prepared by internal oxidation. Effects of sliding speed and pressure on the frictional characteristics of the composites and copper against brass are investigated and compared. The changes in morphology of the sliding surface and subsurface are examined with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrum (EDS). The results show that the wear resistance of the Al2O3/Cu composites is superior to that of copper under the same conditions, Under a given electrical current, the wear rate of Al2O3/Cu composites decreases as the Al2O3-content increases, However, the wear rates of the Al2O3/Cu composites and copper increase as the sliding speed and pressure increase under dry sliding condition. The main wear mechanisms for Al2O3/Cu composites are of abrasion and adhesion; for copper, it is adhesion, although wear by oxidation and electrical erosion can also be observed as the speed and pressure rise. 展开更多

The oxidation behavior of Al2O3-30%TiCN-0.2%Y2O3 composite and its effect on high temperature bending strength was studied. The result indicates that the mass gain during static oxidation of the material under normal atmosphere follows the parabolic law. Oxide increases with increasing temperature and prolonging time. It has good oxidation resistance. The product of oxidation of the material is TiO2. Therefore, the volume of the material expands. The oxide film is destroyed because residual stress inside the oxide film is released. Proper oxidation is beneficial to the improvement of bending strength of Al2O3-30%TiCN-0.2%Y2O3 composite. The coating was compact and comprised of nano-laminated Al2O3 and Au layers. High temperature cyclic oxidation test was employed to investigate the oxidation resistance of the composite coatings. The results revealed that the applied Al2O3/Au nano-laminated composite coatings improved the oxidation and spallation resistance of the stainless steel substrate significantly. The mechanism accounting for oxidation resistance was related with the suppression of inward oxygen diffusion and selective oxidation of Cr in the substrate. The mechanism accounting for spallation resistance was attributed to the relaxation of thermal stress by the nano-laminated structure. 展开更多

Satellited CoNiCrAlY–Al2O3feedstocks with 2wt%, 4wt%, and 6wt% oxide nanoparticles and pure CoNiCrAlY powder were deposited by the high-velocity oxy fuel process on an Inconel738 superalloy substrate. The oxidation test was performed at 1050℃ for 5, 50, 100,150, 200, and 400 h. The microstructure and phase composition of powders and coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, respectively. The bonding strength of the coatings was also evaluated. The results proved that with the increase in the percentage of nanoparticles(from 2wt% to 6wt%), the amount of porosity(from 1vol% to 4.7vol%), unmelted particles, and roughness of the coatings(from 4.8 to 8.8 μm) increased, and the bonding strength decreased from 71 to 48 MPa. The thicknesses of the thermally grown oxide layer of pure and composite coatings(2wt%, 4wt%, and 6wt%) after 400 h oxidation were measured as 6.5, 5.5, 7.6, and 8.1 μm, respectively.The CoNiCrAlY–2wt% Al2O3coating showed the highest oxidation resistance due to the diffusion barrier effect of well-dispersed nanoparticles. The CoNiCrAlY–6wt% Al2O3coating had the lowest oxidation resistance due to its rough surface morphology and porous microstructure. 展开更多

The effect of La2O3 or CeO2 particle size on the oxidation resistance of the electrodeposited Ni-La2O3/CeO2 composites in air at 1000 °C was studied. The results indicate that, compared with the electrodeposited Ni-film, Ni-La2O3/CeO2 composites exhibit a superior oxidation resistance due to the codeposited La2O3 or CeO2 particles blocking the outward diffusion of nickel. Moreover, compared with nanoparticles, La2O3 or CeO2 microparticles have stronger effect because La2O3 or CeO2 microparticles also act as a diffusion barrier layer at the onset of oxidation. 展开更多

The oxidation behaviors of Fe26Cr1Mo with and without the Ni La 2O 3 electrodeposited composite film have been investigated by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and a scanning electron microscope equipped with an energy dispersive analytical X ray system(SEM/EDAX). The experimental results show that the oxide scale growing on Fe26Cr1Mo exposed at 900 ℃ spalled severely during cooling, while after the stainless steel was coated with the Ni La 2O 3 electrodeposited composite film, its high temperature cyclic oxidation resistance was significantly improved. The reason is that a La 2O 3 modified NiO scale, which has a superior adhesion to the substrate, was formed on the Fe26Cr1Mo stainless steel coated with Ni La 2O 3 composite film. 展开更多

Organic-inorganic MoO3/PI(MoPI)composites were prepared using a simple one-pot thermal copolymerization method.The resulting composites exhibited enhanced photocatalytic activity for the selective oxidation of benzylamine to N-benzylidene benzylamine(N-BDBA)in ambient air under simulated solar light irradiation compared to pristine MoO3 or polyimide(PI).In particular,the MoPI composite with a 0.3:1 molar ratio of Mo to melamine,referred to as MoPI-0.3,demonstrated the best performance in the photo-oxidation of benzylamine,achieving a benzylamine conversion of 95%with a N-BDBA selectivity exceeding 99%after 3 h irradiation.The enhanced photocatalytic activity of the MoPI-0.3 catalyst was attributed to the formation of a direct Z-scheme heterojunction between MoO3 and PI,facilitating more efficient separation of the photoinduced electrons and holes.Additionally,the MoPI-0.3 composite maintained considerably high activity over four consecutive cycles,highlighting its good stability and recyclability.Furthermore,the MoPI-0.3 composite could photo-oxidize benzylamine derivatives and heterocyclic amines to their corresponding imines,demonstrating the universal applicability of this composite catalyst. 展开更多

为了解决低浓度乙烷气体检测的问题,实现对乙烷气体的高灵敏高精度低成本监测,文中通过水热法合成了球状氧化铟(In2O3)纳米颗粒,并且通过原位还原法掺杂了金属铂(Pt),最终制备了Pt/In2O3纳米复合材料作为乙烷传感器的敏感... 为了解决低浓度乙烷气体检测的问题,实现对乙烷气体的高灵敏高精度低成本监测,文中通过水热法合成了球状氧化铟(In2O3)纳米颗粒,并且通过原位还原法掺杂了金属铂(Pt),最终制备了Pt/In2O3纳米复合材料作为乙烷传感器的敏感元件。通过扫描电子显微镜(scanning electron microscopy,SEM)、能量色散光谱分析仪(energy dispersive spectrometer,EDS)和X射线衍射实验,证实了合成材料的微观形貌与元素组成。将制备的材料涂敷于微型热板上封装制成气体传感器,进行气体检测实验。实验结果表明:在270℃的工作温度下,传感器对于乙烷有良好的选择性、快速的响应时间(32 s)和线性度,在多次重复性测试过程中,传感器响应可以恢复到初始值,具有较高的稳定性。该传感器可以应用于一系列需要检测低浓度乙烷气体的场景。 展开更多

氧化铝(Al2O3)因其高导热性、优异的电绝缘性与化学稳定性,被广泛用于增强聚合物材料的热导率。然而,高填充体系下Al2O3在聚合物基体中分散困难,二者界面相容性差,给材料的加工与性能提升带来了困难。针对高填充[85.7%(质... 氧化铝(Al2O3)因其高导热性、优异的电绝缘性与化学稳定性,被广泛用于增强聚合物材料的热导率。然而,高填充体系下Al2O3在聚合物基体中分散困难,二者界面相容性差,给材料的加工与性能提升带来了困难。针对高填充[85.7%(质量分数)]Al2O3/聚二甲基硅氧烷(PDMS)体系,提出采用双螺杆挤出机强化混合效果并提升加工效率;并通过酰胺键的共价接枝,将改性多孔氧化石墨烯(M-HGO)涂覆在Al2O3表面,以增强Al2O3与PDMS的界面相容性,同时提高Al2O3的导热性能。结果表明,双螺杆挤出机连续挤出(混合时间约5 min)所制备的20μm Al2O3/PDMS便达到采用转矩流变仪混合30 min的材料性能,热导率为1.87 W·m-1·K-1;而手工搅拌1 h后仍无法得到有效混合,材料热导率仅为1.50 W·m-1·K-1。进一步地,基于5μm+20μm Al2O3复合填充体系,将酰氯改性M-HGO共价接枝于氨基改性Al2O3(M-Al2O3)表面并进行热还原,得到M-Al2O3@rMHGO复合填料,并采用双螺杆挤出机制备了M-Al2O3@rM-HGO/PDMS复合材料。添加M-Al2O3@0.4%rM-HGO后复合材料热导率高达2.64 W·m-1·K-1,较未改性Al2O3/PDMS提高23.4%,增强效果优于GO物理涂覆Al2O3及传统硅烷偶联剂改性Al2O3。此外,M-Al2O3@0.4%rM-HGO/PDMS的抗拉强度为1.75 MPa,高于未改性Al2O3/PDMS和其他方法改性Al2O3/PDMS。 展开更多

A heat-resistant dispersion-strengthening nano-Al_2O_3/Cu composite with highstrength and high electric conductivity was fabricated in a multiplex medium. The internaloxidation product, microstructures and properties of the composite, and the process flow weresystematically studied. It is confirmed that this new technique simplifies the process and improvesthe properties of the composite. X-ray analysis indicates that the alumina particles formed duringinternal oxidation consist of a large mount of gamma-Al_2O_3 and a certain amount of theta-Al_2O_3and alpha-Al_2O_3. TEM observation shows that the obtained gamma-Al_2O_3 nano-particles areuniformly distributed in the copper grains; their mean size and space between particles are 7 runand 30 nm, respectively. The main properties of the composite with 50 percent cold deformation areas follows: the electric conductivity is 51 MS/m (87 percent IACS), sigma_b = 628 MPa, and thehardness is HRB86. After annealing at 1273 K, all or most of the above properties remain, and themicrostructures are still dependent on elongated fiber-form grains. 展开更多

To improve the properties of low-carbonization of MgO–C refractories,the introduction of composite additives is an effective strategy.Al2O3–SiC composite powder was prepared from clay using electromagnetic induction heating and carbon embedded methods.Further,the Al2O3–SiC composite powder synthesized by electromagnetic induction heating at 600 A was added into low-carbon MgO–C refractories(4 wt.%)to improve their properties.The results showed that when the addition amount of Al2O3–SiC composite powder is within the range of 2.5–5.0 wt.%,the properties of low-carbon MgO–C samples were significantly improved,e.g.,the apparent porosity of 7.58%–8.04%,the bulk density of 2.98–2.99 g cm-3,the cold compressive strength of 55.72–57.93 MPa,the residual strength after three air quenching at 1100°C of 74.86%–78.04%,and the decarburized layer depth after oxidized at 1400°C for 2 h of 14.03–14.87 mm.Consequently,the idea for the rapid synthesis of Al2O3–SiC composite powder provides an alternative low-carbon MgO–C refractories performance optimization strategy. 展开更多
