In this study, a microbial electrolysis cell coupled anaerobic digestion (MEC-AD) system was constructed and integrated with magnetic biochar (MBC). The critical parameters (i.e., applied voltage, anode-to-cathode area ratio, and cathode mesh size) were systematically optimized through orthogonal experiments to investigate their impacts on chemical oxygen demand (COD), organic transformation pathways, and microbial community succession in the system. The results demonstrated a maximum COD removal efficiency of 59.7%. The optimal combination of parameters included an applied voltage of 1.2 V, an anode-to-cathode area ratio of 1:0.5, and a cathode mesh size of 200 mesh. Furthermore, spectral analysis revealed significant degradation of aromatic compounds with conjugated double bonds and humic acid-like substances, which indicated that electrochemical stimulation effectively facilitated molecular chain cleavage and enhanced microbial metabolism. Long-chain amides (such as 13-Docosenamide, (Z)-) were hydrolyzed into fatty acids and further transformed into alkanes. On the other hand, aromatic pollutants like 2,4-Di-tert-butylphenol underwent progressive mineralization through hydroxylation and ring-opening reactions. Under applied voltage of 1 V, electroactive bacteria (i.e., Comamonas (22.3%) and Pseudomonas (8.1%)) in anode biofilms formed metabolic networks with fermentative bacteria (Soehngenia) and synergistically enhanced electron transfer and organic reduction with heterotrophic bacteria at the cathode. This research provides theoretical insights into optimized degradation mechanisms of MEC-AD systems and the practical feasibility of its application for landfill leachate treatment.展开更多

In this study, the relationships between the cutting parameters(such as the hole spacing L and the empty hole diameter D) and damage zones were investigated by numerical simulation. A damage state index γ was introduced and used to characterize the crushing and crack damage zones through a user-defined subroutine. Two indices, i.e., η1 and η2 that can reflect the cutting performance, were also introduced. The simulation results indicate that an optimal value of L can be obtained so that the η1 and η2 can reach their optimal states for the best cutting performance. A larger D results in better cutting performance when the L value maintains its best. In addition, the influences of the loading rate and the in-situ stress on the cutting performance were investigated. It is found that an explosive with a high loading rate is suit for cutting blasting. The propagation direction and the length of the tensile cracks are affected by the direction and the magnitude of the maximum principal stress.展开更多

Due to the influence of TiB2 particles, the machinability is still a problem which restricts the application of TiB2/Al MMCs. In order to meet the industrial requirements, the influence of TiB2 particles on the machinability of TiB2/Al MMCs was investigated experimentally. Moreover, the optimal machining conditions for this kind of MMCs were investigated in this study. The major conclusions are: (1) the machining force of TiB2/Al MMCs is bigger than that of non- reinforced alloy and mainly controlled by feed rate; (2) the residual stress of TiB2/AI MMCs is compressive while that of non-reinforced alloy is nearly neutral; (3) the surface roughness of TiB2/Al MMCs is smaller than that of non-reinforced alloy under the same cutting speed, but reverse result was observed when the feed rate increased; (4) a multi-objective optimization model for surface roughness and material removal rate (MRR) was established, and a set of optimal parameter combinations of the machining was obtained. The results show a great difference from SiC particle reinforced MMCs and provide a useful guide for a better control of machining process of this material.展开更多

摘要Tunnel boring machine(TBM)rock breaking parameter optimization is a technical challenge in underground engineering.Traditional numerical simulation methods have limitations in computational efficiency and accuracy when dealing with multi-parameter coupling optimization under complex geological conditions. This study proposes a deep learning method based on the Ada-Attention mechanism for predicting and optimizing parameters such as confining pressure, penetration depth, and cutting tool spacing in TBM rock breaking processes. The method employs a hybrid attention architecture that combines global window mechanisms with local sliding windows, reducing the computational complexity of traditional self-attention mechanisms from O(n2)to O(n(w+α)).Additionally, the Newton-Gauss optimization algorithm is introduced to improve the softmax normalization process, enhancing numerical stability and convergence performance. The research constructs a prediction framework covering a temperature range from 25℃to 500℃,using 800 experimental samples for model training and validation.Experimental results show that the Ada-Attention model achieves R2values of 0.92,0.93,and 0.94 for torque, rolling force, and specific energy predictions respectively, obtaining 2-10 times computational speedup compared to traditional Transformer architectures.Generalization capability validation demonstrates that the model exhibits high prediction accuracy in soft sedimentary rock and medium sandstone(R2>0.95),maintains moderate performance levels in hard limestone and crystalline rock(R2=0.80-0.90),while prediction accuracy decreases in complex geological environments such as composite formations and fractured rock masses. This method provides a feasible technical solution for TBM parameter optimization under complex geological conditions.

摘要Fluxgate current sensors(FGCSs)are increasingly employed in power systems due to their high-precision characteristics, yet their measurement flexibility remains constrained by conventional closed-core designs. To address this limitation,we proposed a split-core sensor structure comprising four magnetic core strips, which achieved non-intrusive current measurement while maintaining detection accuracy. An analytical model of the induced electromotive force was established based on the probe’s geometric configuration, followed by finite element simulations to optimize key parameters including core radius, core width, excitation coil turns, and sensing coil configuration.A complete prototype integrating the measurement probe, excitation circuit, and signal processing circuitry was developed and experimentally validated. The experimental results show a sensitivity of 0.1099 V/A,a hysteresis error of 0.559%,and a repeatability error of 1.574%over a measurement range of±10 A.After polynomial fitting-based error compensation, the nonlinearity error was reduced to 0.208%,achieving performance comparable to closed-core sensors. This work provided a practical solution for applications demanding both high measurement accuracy and installation flexibility.

摘要The outcome of the cutting blasting in a one-step shaft excavation is heavily related to the cutting parameters used for parallel cutting method. The propagation direction and the length of the tensile cracks are affected by the direction and the magnitude of the maximum principal stress.

摘要To improve the safety of trains running in an undesirable wind environment,a novel louver-type wind barrier is proposed and further studied in this research using a scaled wind tunnel simulation with 1:40 scale models.Based on the aerodynamic performance of the train-bridge system, the parameters of the louver-type wind barrier are optimized.Compared to the case without a wind barrier,it is apparent that the wind barrier improves the running safety of trains, since the maximum reduction of the moment coefficient of the train reaches 58%using the louver-type wind barrier, larger than that achieved with conventional wind barriers(fence-type and grid-type).A louver-type wind barrier has more blade layers, and the rotation angle of the adjustable blade of the louver-type wind barrier is 90–180°(which induces the flow towards the deck surface),which is more favorable for the aerodynamic performance of the train.Comparing the 60°,90°and 120°wind fairings of the louver-type wind barrier blade, the blunt fairing is disadvantageous to the operational safety of the train.

摘要This study was conducted to investigate the flow field characteristics of right-angled flow passage with various cavities in the typical hydraulic manifold block.A low-speed visualization test rig was developed and the flow field of the right-angled flow passage with different cavity structures was measured using 2D-PIV technique.Numerical model was established to simulate the three-dimensional flow field.Seven eddy viscosity turbulence models were investigated in predicting the flow field by comparing against the particle image relocimetry(PIV)measurement results.By defining the weight error function K,the S-A model was selected as the appropriate turbulence model. Then,a three-factor,three-level response surface numerical test was conducted to investigate the influence of flow passage connection type, cavity diameter and cavity length-diameter ratio on pressure loss. The results show that the Box-Benhnken Design(BBD)model can predict the total pressure loss accurately. The optimal factor level appeared in flow passage connection type II,14.64 mm diameter and 67.53%cavity length-diameter ratio. The total pressure loss decreased by 11.15%relative to the worst factor level, and total pressure loss can be reduced by 64.75%when using an arc transition right-angled flow passage, which indicates a new direction for the optimization design of flow passage in hydraulic manifold blocks.

摘要In this study,a new parameter optimization method was used to investigate the expansion of conditional nonlinear optimal perturbation (CNOP) in a land surface model (LSM) using long-term enhanced field observations at Tongyu station in Jilin Province,China, combined with a sophisticated LSM (common land model,CoLM).Tongyu station is a reference site of the international Coordinated Energy and Water Cycle Observations Project (CEOP) that has studied semiarid regions that have undergone desertification, salination, and degradation since late 1960s.In this study, three key land-surface parameters, namely, soil color, proportion of sand or clay in soil, and leaf-area index were chosen as parameters to be optimized. Our study comprised three experiments:First,a single-parameter optimization was performed, while the second and third experiments performed triple-and six-parameter optimizations, respectively.Notable improvements in simulating sensible heat flux (SH),latent heat flux (LH),soil temperature (TS),and moisture (MS) at shallow layers were achieved using the optimized parameters. The multiple-parameter optimization experiments performed better than the single-parameter experminent. All results demonstrate that the CNOP method can be used to optimize expanded parameters in an LSM.Moreover, clear mathematical meaning, simple design structure, and rapid computability give this method great potential for further application to parameter optimization in LSMs.

摘要In situ formed TiB2 particle reinforced aluminum matrix composites (TiB2/Al MMCs) have some extraordinary properties which make them be a promising material for high performance aero-engine blade. The results show a great difference from SiC particle reinforced MMCs and provide a useful guide for a better control of machining process of this material.

摘要This paper establishes a 3D multi-well pad fracturing numerical model coupled with fracture propagation and proppant migration based on the displacement discontinuity method and Eulerian-Eulerian frameworks, and the fracture propagation and proppant distribution during multi-well fracturing are investigated by taking the actual multi-well pad parameters as an example.Fracture initiation and propagation during multi-well pad fracturing are jointly affected by a variety of stress interference mechanisms such as inter-cluster,inter-stage,and inter-well,and the fracture extension is unbalanced among clusters, asymmetric on both wings, and dipping at heels.Due to the significant influence of fracture morphology and width on the migration capacity of proppant in the fracture, proppant is mainly placed in the area near the wellbore with large fracture width, while a high-concentration sandwash may easily occur in the area with narrow fracture width as a result of quick bridging. On the whole, the proppant placement range is limited.Increasing the well-spacing can reduce the stress interference of adjacent wells and promote the uniform distribution of fractures and proppant on both wings. The maximum stimulated reservoir volume or multi-fracture uniform propagation can be achieved by optimizing the well spacing.Although reducing the perforation-cluster spacing also can improve the stimulated reservoir area,a too low cluster spacing is not conducive to effectively increasing the propped fracture area.Since increasing the stage time lag is beneficial to reduce inter-stage stress interference, zipper fracturing produces more uniform fracture propagation and proppant distribution.

摘要To optimize cutting control parameters and provide scientific evidence for controlling cutting forces, cutting force modeling and cutting control parameter optimization are researched with one tool adopted to orbital drill holes in aluminum alloy 6061.Firstly,four cutting control parameters(tool rotation speed, tool revolution speed, axial feeding pitch and tool revolution radius)and affecting cutting forces are identified after orbital drilling kinematics analysis.Secondly, hybrid level orthogonal experiment method is utilized in modeling experiment.By nonlinear regression analysis, two quadratic prediction models for axial and radial forces are established, where the above four control parameters are used as input variables. Then, model accuracy and cutting control parameters are analyzed.Upon axial and radial forces models, two optimal combinations of cutting control parameters are obtained for processing a13mm hole, corresponding to the minimum axial force and the radial force respectively. Finally, each optimal combination is applied in verification experiment. The verification experiment results of cutting force are in good agreement with prediction model, which confirms accracy of the research method in practical production.

摘要The influence of processing parameters on the precision of parts fabricated by fused deposition modeling (FDM) technology is studied based on a series of performed experiments. Processing parameters of FDM in terms of wire-width compensation, extrusion velocity, filing velocity, and layer thickness are chosen as the control fac- tors. Robust design analysis and multi-index fuzzy comprehensive assessment method are used to obtain the opti- mal parameters. Results show that the influencing degrees of these four factors on the precision of as-processed parts are different. The optimizations of individual parameters and their combined effects are of the same impor- tance for a high precision manufacturing.

摘要For density inversion of gravity anomaly data, once the inversion method is determined, the main factors affecting the inversion result are the inversion parameters and subdivision scheme.A set of reasonable inversion parameters and subdivision scheme can,not only improve the inversion process efficiency, but also ensure inversion result accuracy. The gravity inversion method based on correlation searching and the golden section algorithm is an effective potential field inversion method. It can be used to invert 2D and 3D physical properties with potential data observed on flat or rough surfaces. In this paper,we introduce in detail the density inversion principles based on correlation searching and the golden section algorithm.Considering that the gold section algorithm is not globally optimized.we present a heuristic method to ensure the inversion result is globally optimized. With a series of model tests,we systematically compare and analyze the inversion result efficiency and accuracy with different parameters.Based on the model test results,we conclude the selection principles for each inversion parameter with which the inversion accuracy can be obviously improved.

摘要The voltage source converter based high voltage direct current(VSC-HVDC)system is based on voltage source converter, and its control system is more complex. Also affected by the fast control of power electronics, oscillation phenomenon in wide frequency domain may occur. To address the problem of small signal stability of the VSCHVDC system,a converter control strategy is designed to improve its small signal stability, and the risk of system oscillation is reduced by attaching a damping controller and optimizing the control parameters.Based on the modeling of the VSC-HVDC system, the general architecture of the inner and outer loop control of the VSCHVDC converter is established;and the damping controllers for DC control and AC control are designed in the phase-locked loop and the inner and outer loop control parts respectively;the state-space statemodel of the control system is established to analyze its performance. And the electromagnetic transient simulation model is built on the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation platform to verify the accuracy of the small signal model. The influence of the parameters of each control part on the stability of the system is summarized. The main control parts affecting stability are optimized for the phenomenon of oscillation due to changes in operation mode occurring on the AC side due to faults and other reasons, which effectively eliminates system oscillation and improves system small signal stability, providing a certain reference for engineering design.
