The analysis investigates their relation to positive stability, as well as their potential in predicting links in future versions of the co-authorship network. Several hypotheses are tested.Findings: Among other results, we find that weighted networks do not automatically lead to better predictions. Bipartite networks, however, outperform unweighted networks in almost all cases. Research limitations: Only two relatively small case studies are considered Practical implications: The study suggests that future link prediction studies on networks should consider using the bipartite network as a training network. Background: Turner syndrome (TS) affects approximately one in 2500 live births in females. Scoliosis is one of the skeletal manifestations of TS, but most cases only require observation or conservative treatment. We e...Background: Turner syndrome (TS) affects approximately one in 2500 live births in females. Scoliosis is one of the skeletal manifestations of TS, but most cases only require observation or conservative treatment. We experienced two adolescent TS cases in which progression of scoliosis required surgical intervention, which is very rare in TS. Case Presentation: Case 1: An 11-year-old female with TS had a single thoracic curve that rapidly progressed to a triple major curve with a 76˚ main thoracic curve at age 13.5 years. Case 2: A 14-year-old female with TS had a 59˚ single thoracic curve. In both cases, growth hormone and estrogen replacement therapy were administered preoperatively and planned postoperatively. Posterior correction and instrumented fusion using simultaneous translation on two rods technique and direct vertebral rotation with the use of multiple rod introducers were successfully performed in both cases. No crankshaft phenomenon or distal adding on were observed during those postoperative courses. Conclusions: Although curve pattern of the deformity is similar to adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), bone quality in patient with TS is lower. In the context of surgical interventions for scoliosis associated with TS, it is imperative to employ surgical techniques that take into account the suboptimal bone quality. If continuation of hormone replacement therapy is planned after corrective surgery for scoliosis in TS patients, it is essential to follow the patient closely postoperatively until bone maturation is complete.展开更多
Objective: This study aims to investigate the drainage effect and clinical outcomes of negative pressure chest drainage in patients after two-port thoracoscopic valve surgery, comparing the differences in postoperativ...Objective: This study aims to investigate the drainage effect and clinical outcomes of negative pressure chest drainage in patients after two-port thoracoscopic valve surgery, comparing the differences in postoperative pain, hospital stay, and other factors between the negative pressure group and the control group. Methods: This study is a prospective controlled trial that selected patients undergoing two-port thoracoscopic valve surgery at a certain hospital from January 2019 to December 2024. Patients were randomly assigned to the control group and the negative pressure group using a random number table method. The control group consisted of 30 patients (20 males, 10 females, mean age 42.03 ± 12.89 years), and the negative pressure group consisted of 35 patients (26 males, 9 females, mean age 41.84 ± 11.83 years). The control group received traditional chest drainage, while the negative pressure group received negative pressure chest drainage. Postoperative pain scores, hospital stay, drainage time, number of tube blockages, and incidences of pneumothorax or subcutaneous emphysema were recorded and statistically analyzed. Results: The negative pressure group had a significantly shorter postoperative drainage time compared to the control group (49.09 ± 11.99 hours vs. 79.10 ± 7.32 hours, P < 0.001). The postoperative pain score was lower in the negative pressure group (4.49 ± 1.27 vs. 7.03 ± 0.85, P < 0.001), and the hospital stay was significantly shorter (9.83 ± 1.69 days vs. 14.73 ± 2.32 days, P < 0.001). The incidence of pneumothorax or subcutaneous emphysema was significantly lower in the negative pressure group than in the control group (14.29% vs. 56.67%, P = 0.0003). Conclusion: The application of negative pressure chest drainage in patients after two-port thoracoscopic valve surgery can effectively reduce postoperative pain, shorten hospital stay, and lower the incidence of tube blockage and pneumothorax, demonstrating good clinical outcomes.展开更多

In this paper, inspired by recent experiments of cavity-assisted Raman transitions, we realize a two-axis spin Hamiltonian H = q(J_x^2+ χJ_y^2) + ω_0J_z in two cavities. This realized Hamiltonian has a distinct property that all parameters can be tuned independently. For proper parameters, the well-studied one- and two-axis twisting Hamiltonians are recovered, and the scaling of N^(-1) of the maximal squeezing factor can occur naturally. On the other hand, in the two-axis twisting Hamiltonian, spin squeezing is usually reduced when increasing the atomic resonant frequency ω_0. Surprisingly, we find that by combining with the dimensionless parameter χ(-1), this atomic resonant frequency ω_0 can enhance spin squeezing greatly. These results are beneficial for achieving the required spin squeezing in experiments.展开更多

The governing equations are formulated in the dilute twophase continuum framework with consideration of the finiteness of the particle Reynolds and Knudsen numbers. The full Lagrangian method is explored for calculating the dispersedphase flow fields (including the number density of particles) in the regions of intersecting particle trajectories. The computation results show a significant reaction of the particles on the two-phase boundary-layer structure when the mass loading ratio of particles takes finite values.展开更多

The laws of turbulent transportation for each phase, and the restriction of each other between the two phases are completely simulated. The complex two phase turbulence with strong buoyancy effects is selected to examine numerically. The extensive experimental data obtained in stratified flow are used here. Comparison of the results of numerical simulation with the experimental data is conducted. It has shown that the results of numerical simulation are satisfactory.展开更多

The proposed model is used to simulate gas-particle downer reactor flows. The computational results of both particle volume fraction and mean velocity are in agreement with the experimental results. After analyzing effects of empirical coefficient on prediction results, we can come to a conclusion that, inside the limit range of empirical coefficient, the predictions do not reveal a large sensitivity to the empirical coefficient in the downer reactor, but a relatively great change of the constants has important effect on the prediction.展开更多

Literature evidences many attempts of employing the FLI for con...A five leg inverter (FLI) control is incorporated to drive two independent rated permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) for automotive applications. Literature evidences many attempts of employing the FLI for controlling two general purpose/special motors, where variety of modulation techniques has been practiced for performance enhancement. Also in these cases one leg of inverter is common to both the motors. The expanded two arm modulation (ETAM) has been generally engaged in FLI. In ETAM the percentage voltage utilization factor (VUF) is calculated based on “αmax”, where “αmax” is the maximum modulation index and equal to and hence it restricts the VUF to 50%. This makes the FLI drives to use the dc link in inefficient way, which is due to the fact that conventional ETAM works with voltage reference. This paper modifies the ETAM in an ingenious way to improve the VUF further through current reference. In addition, the developed current reference expanded two arm modulation (CRETAM) minimizes the current harmonics and torque ripple as well. A detailed comparison of the CRETAM with the conventional ETAM and the competent digital counterpart, space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM), is also presented. The enhancement in VUF, torque ripple minimization and current total harmonic distortion (THD) reduction are found in the MATLAB based simulation results.展开更多

X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that this new crystal belongs to the triclinic crystal system of centro-symmetric P-1 space group. The DBPAS solution, with the linear transmission at wavelength of greater than or equal to 450 nm, possesses large two-photon absorption cross section as high as 39.4x10(-48) cm(4).s/photon resulting in strong two-photon induced blue fluorescence of 460 nm, pumped by 740 nm laser irradiation.展开更多

摘要The two-phase flow models are commonly used in industrial applications, such as nuclear, power, chemical-process, oil-and-gas, cryogenics, bio-medical, micro-technology and so on. 摘要The present paper describes a numerical two-way coupling model for shock-induced laminar boundary-layer flows of a dust-laden gas and studies the transverse migration of fine particles under the action of Saffman lift force. The governing equations are formulated in the dilute twophase continuum framework with consideration of the finiteness of the particle Reynolds and Knudsen numbers. The full Lagrangian method is explored for calculating the dispersedphase flow fields (including the number density of particles) in the regions of intersecting particle trajectories. The computation results show a significant reaction of the particles on the two-phase boundary-layer structure when the mass loading ratio of particles takes finite values.
摘要The two fluid model of stratified turbulent two phase flow in aquatic environment is developed in this paper. The motion of each phase is described by a unified multi fluid model in an Eulerian coordinate system. The laws of turbulent transportation for each phase, and the restriction of each other between the two phases are completely simulated. The complex two phase turbulence with strong buoyancy effects is selected to examine numerically. The extensive experimental data obtained in stratified flow are used here. Comparison of the results of numerical simulation with the experimental data is conducted. It has shown that the results of numerical simulation are satisfactory.

摘要A two-scale second-order moment two-phase turbulence model accounting for inter-particle collision is developed, based on the concept of particle large-scale fluctuation due to turbulence and particle small-scale fluctuation due to collision. The proposed model is used to simulate gas-particle downer reactor flows. The computational results of both particle volume fraction and mean velocity are in agreement with the experimental results. After analyzing effects of empirical coefficient on prediction results, we can come to a conclusion that, inside the limit range of empirical coefficient, the predictions do not reveal a large sensitivity to the empirical coefficient in the downer reactor, but a relatively great change of the constants has important effect on the prediction.
摘要In this paper,we construct a new two-dimensional convergent scheme to solve Cauchy problem of following two-dimensional scalar conservation law{ tu + xf(u) + yg(u) = 0,u(x,y,0) = u0(x,y).In which initial data can be unbounded.Although the existence and uniqueness of the weak entropy solution are obtained,little is known about how to investigate two-dimensional or higher dimensional conservation law by the schemes based on wave interaction of 2D Riemann solutions and their estimation.So we construct such scheme in our paper and get some new results.
摘要A five leg inverter (FLI) control is incorporated to drive two independent rated permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) for automotive applications. Literature evidences many attempts of employing the FLI for controlling two general purpose/special motors, where variety of modulation techniques has been practiced for performance enhancement. Also in these cases one leg of inverter is common to both the motors. The expanded two arm modulation (ETAM) has been generally engaged in FLI. In ETAM the percentage voltage utilization factor (VUF) is calculated based on “αmax”, where “αmax” is the maximum modulation index and equal to and hence it restricts the VUF to 50%. This makes the FLI drives to use the dc link in inefficient way, which is due to the fact that conventional ETAM works with voltage reference. This paper modifies the ETAM in an ingenious way to improve the VUF further through current reference. In addition, the developed current reference expanded two arm modulation (CRETAM) minimizes the current harmonics and torque ripple as well. A detailed comparison of the CRETAM with the conventional ETAM and the competent digital counterpart, space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM), is also presented. The enhancement in VUF, torque ripple minimization and current total harmonic distortion (THD) reduction are found in the MATLAB based simulation results.

摘要For compressible two-phase displacement problem, a kind of upwind operator splitting finite difference schemes is put forward and make use of operator splitting, of calculus of variations, multiplicative commutation rule of difference operators, decomposition of high order difference operators and prior estimates are adopted. Optimal order estimates in L 2 norm are derived to determine the error, in the approximate solution.
摘要Efficient Ti-catalyzed reductive coupling methodology was first employed to synthesize the symmetrical bis-donor stilbene, trans-4, 4'-bis[diphenyl amino] stilbene (BDPAS). X-ray diffraction analyses reveal that this new crystal belongs to the triclinic crystal system of centro-symmetric P-1 space group. The DBPAS solution, with the linear transmission at wavelength of greater than or equal to 450 nm, possesses large two-photon absorption cross section as high as 39.4x10(-48) cm(4).s/photon resulting in strong two-photon induced blue fluorescence of 460 nm, pumped by 740 nm laser irradiation.
