The formation and development of natural fractures in tight sandstone reservoirs are governed by a combination of stratigraphic structure,lithological properties,and stress conditions.These fractures often exhibit irregular geometries,signicant variations in height,and complex lling materials,leading to intricate conventional logging responses with pronounced multi-solution ambiguities that complicate accurate identication.To address this challenge,this study proposes a multi-model selective coupling identication method.This approach incorporated data cleaning,augmentation,and resampling techniques during the preprocessing phase.Subsequently,multi-dimensional feature extraction and cascade-based feature selection were performed,followed by optimizing model parameters using random search,Bayesian optimization,and grid search algorithms.High-performing models were selected via an evaluation framework.These models were then coupled through voting mechanisms to construct a robust identication model capable of deeply exploring the nonlinear relationship between fractures and logging data.The proposed method achieved an 85.19%fracture identication accuracy in blind tests involving 27 fracture segments across three wells,demonstrating strong identication capability.This methodology provides a valuable reference for fracture identication in hydrocarbon reservoirs within the Hongde area. 展开更多

The automatic algorithm programming model can increase the dependability and efficiency of algorithm program development,including specification generation,program refinement,and formal verification.However,the existing model has two flaws:incompleteness of program refinement and inadequate automation of formal verification.This paper proposes an automatic algorithm programming model based on the improved Morgan’s refinement calculus.It extends the Morgan’s refinement calculus rules and designs the C++generation system for realizing the complete process of refinement.Meanwhile,the automation tools VCG(Verification Condition Generator)and Isabelle are used to improve the automation of formal verification.An example of a stock’s maximum income demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed model.Furthermore,the proposed model has some relevance for automatic software generation. 展开更多

Control of pH neutralization processes is challenging in the chemical process industry because of their inherent strong nonlinearity. In this paper, the model algorithmic control (MAC) strategy is extended to nonlinear processes using Hammerstein model that consists of a static nonlinear polynomial function followed in series by a linear impulse response dynamic element. A new nonlinear Hammerstein MAC algorithm (named NLH-MAC) is presented in detail. The simulation control results of a pH neutralization process show that NLH-MAC gives better control performance than linear MAC and the commonly used industrial nonlinear propotional plus integral plus derivative (PID) controller. Further simulation experiment demonstrates that NLH-MAC not only gives good control response, but also possesses good stability and robustness even with large modeling errors. 展开更多

The dynamic characteristics of bridge structures, such as the natural frequencies, mode shapes and model damping ratio, are the basis of structural dynamic computation, seismic analysis, vibration control and structural health condition monitoring. In this paper, a three-dimensional finite-element model is established for a highway bridge over a railway on No.312 National Highway and the ambient test is carried out in site, the dynamic characteristics of the bridge are studied using the finite-element analysis and ambient vibration measurements. Comparison between the theoretical and experimental results shows that the frequency differences of the modes range between 0.44% and 8.77%. If the measurement is more reliable, the finite element model updating is necessary. Thus, a set of design variables is selected based on sensitivity analysis, then the finite element model of the bridge is updated based on optimization algorithm. The results of model updating show that the proposed updating method in this paper is more simple and effective, the updated finite element model can reflect the dynamic characteristics of the bridge better, the analytical results can provide the theoretical basis for damage identification and health condition monitoring of the bridge. 展开更多

It is difficult to obtain a good model of a nonlinear system, especially when the nonlinearity is high. Neural networks have the ability to "learn"the characteristics of a system through nonlinear mapping to represent nonlinear functions as well as their inverse functions. This paper presents a model algorithm control method using neural networks for nonlinear time delay systems. Two neural networks are used in the control scheme. One neural network is trained as the model of the nonlinear time delay system, and the other one produces the control inputs. The neural networks are combined with the model algorithm control method to control the nonlinear time delay systems. Three examples are used to illustrate the proposed control method. The simulation results show that the proposed control method has a good control performance for nonlinear time delay systems. 展开更多

Especially, the approach developed can be used when no priori knowledges of the values of initial guesses are availabe, and the convergence is improved significantly. This study focuses on monit... Canopy Nitrogen Concentration (CNC) is a key indicator of crop yields. It is feasible to establish a real- time regional model to estimate CNC by upscaling the field-scale spectral model. This study focuses on monitoring the CNC in rice on a large scale in real-time. The Random Forest (RF) algorithm is used to establish the CNC spectral inversion model, and some vegetation indexes that are sensitive to nitrogen were selected as input parameters for the RF. CNC was selected as an output parameter. The hyperspectral and biochemical data were collected in a paddy in Changchun City, Jilin Province, China, and the data in Suzhou was used to test the model's universality and effectiveness. Two regional-scale models were developed by applying scale transformation based on the input and output variables respectively. The results show that the RFCNC model (CNC spectral inversion model based on the RF algorithm) performed accurately and significantly improved upon existing methods. R2, used to validate method accuracy in Changchun and Suzhou, was 0.82 and 0.73 respectively. The regional application accuracy increased (R2= 0. 81) through the two upscaling methods using hyperspectral remote sensing satellite images. This study suggests that this method is promising for estimating regional CNC in rice by upscaling a field-scale spectral model if the strategy is appropriately selected. 展开更多

In response to the production capacity and functionality variations, a genetic algorithm (GA) embedded with deterministic timed Petri nets(DTPN) for reconfigurable production line(RPL) is proposed to solve its scheduling problem. The basic DTPN modules are presented to model the corresponding variable structures in RPL, and then the scheduling model of the whole RPL is constructed. And in the scheduling algorithm, firing sequences of the Petri nets model are used as chromosomes, thus the selection, crossover, and mutation operator do not deal with the elements in the problem space, but the elements of Petri nets model. Accordingly, all the algorithms for GA operations embedded with Petri nets model are proposed. Moreover, the new weighted single-objective optimization based on reconfiguration cost and E/T is used. The results of a DC motor RPL scheduling suggest that the presented DTPN-GA scheduling algorithm has a significant impact on RPL scheduling, and provide obvious improvements over the conventional scheduling method in practice that meets duedate, minimizes reconfiguration cost, and enhances cost effectivity. 展开更多

This paper presents a model that can aid planners in defining the total allowable pollutant discharge in the planning region, accounting for the dynamic and stochastic character of meteorological conditions. This is accomplished by integrating Monte Carlo simulation and using genetic algorithm to solve the model. The model is demonstrated by using a realistic air urban scale SO 2 control problem in the Yuxi City of China. To evaluate effectiveness of the model, results of the approach are shown to compare with those of the linear deterministic procedures. This paper also provides a valuable insight into how air quality targets should be made when the air pollutant will not threat the residents' health. Finally, a discussion of the areas for further research are briefly delineated. 展开更多

The TOPKAPI (TOPographic Kinematic APproximation and Integration) model is a physically based rainfall-runoff model derived from the integration in space of the kinematic wave model. In the TOPKAPI model, rainfall-runoff and runoff routing processes are described by three nonlinear reservoir differential equations that are structurally similar and describe different hydrological and hydraulic processes. Equations are integrated over grid cells that describe the geometry of the catchment, leading to a cascade of nonlinear reservoir equations. For the sake of improving the model's computation precision, this paper provides the general form of these equations and describes the solution by means of a numerical algorithm, the variable-step fourth-order Runge-Kutta algorithm. For the purpose of assessing the quality of the comprehensive numerical algorithm, this paper presents a case study application to the Buliu River Basin, which has an area of 3 310 km^2, using a DEM (digital elevation model) grid with a resolution of 1 km. The results show that the variable-step fourth-order Runge-Kutta algorithm for nonlinear reservoir equations is a good approximation of subsurface flow in the soil matrix, overland flow over the slopes, and surface flow in the channel network, allowing us to retain the physical properties of the original equations at scales ranging from a few meters to 1 km. 展开更多

Extreme hydrological events induced by typhoons in reservoir areas have presented severe challenges to the safe operation of hydraulic structures. Based on analysis of the seepage characteristics of an earth rock dam, a novel seepage safety monitoring model was constructed in this study. The nonlinear influence processes of the antecedent reservoir water level and rainfall were assumed to follow normal distributions. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm was used to optimize the model parameters so as to raise the fitting accuracy. In addition, a mutation factor was introduced to simulate the sudden increase in the piezometric level induced by short-duration heavy rainfall and the possible historical extreme reservoir water level during a typhoon. In order to verify the efficacy of this model, the earth rock dam of the Siminghu Reservoir was used as an example. The piezometric level at the SW1-2 measuring point during Typhoon Fitow in 2013 was fitted with the present model, and a corresponding theoretical expression was established. Comparison of fitting results of the piezometric level obtained from the present statistical model and traditional statistical model with monitored values during the typhoon shows that the present model has a higher fitting accuracy and can simulate the uprush feature of the seepage pressure during the typhoon perfectly. 展开更多

In order to improve the compensation effect under this condition, a method based on small signal model and least mean square(LMS) algorithm is proposed. According to the method, the initial values of adaptive filter's weight vector are calculated with the solved model parameters through small signal model at first,then the small amount of direction cosine and its derivative are set as the input of the filter, and the small amount of the interference is set as the filter's expected vector. After that, the aircraft magnetic interference is compensated by LMS algorithm. Finally, the method is verified by simulation and experiment. The result shows that the compensation effect can be improved obviously by the LMS algorithm when original solved parameters have low precision. The method can further improve the compensation effect even if the solved parameters have high precision. 展开更多

Aiming at the difficulty of accurately constructing the dynamic model of subtropical high, based on the potential height field time series over 500 hPa layer of T106 numerical forecast products, by using EOF(empirical orthogonal function) temporal-spatial separation technique, the disassembled EOF time coefficients series were regarded as dynamical model variables, and dynamic system retrieval idea as well as genetic algorithm were introduced to make dynamical model parameters optimization search, then, a reasonable non-linear dynamic model of EOF time-coefficients was established. By dynamic model integral and EOF temporal-spatial components assembly, a mid-/long-term forecast of subtropical high was carried out. The experimental results show that the forecast results of dynamic model are superior to that of general numerical model forecast results. A new modeling idea and forecast technique is presented for diagnosing and forecasting such complicated weathers as subtropical high. 展开更多

Hereto, we analyze the platform planning problem and present nonlinear optimal model aiming at maximizing the task completion qualities. Firstly, we take into account the relation among tasks and build the single task nonlinear optimal model with a set of platform constraints. The Lagrange relaxation method and the pruning strategy are used to solve the model. Secondly, this paper presents optimization-based planning algorithms for efficiently allocating platforms to multiple tasks. To achieve the balance of the resource assignments among tasks, the m-best assignment algorithm and the pair-wise exchange(PWE)method are used to maximize multiple tasks completion qualities.Finally, a series of experiments are designed to verify the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed model and algorithms. 展开更多

Compared with accurate diagnosis, the system’s selfdiagnosing capability can be greatly increased through the t/kdiagnosis strategy at most k vertexes to be mistakenly identified as faulty under the comparison model, where k is typically a small number. Based on the Preparata, Metze, and Chien(PMC)model, the n-dimensional hypercube network is proved to be t/kdiagnosable. In this paper, based on the Maeng and Malek(MM)*model, a novel t/k-fault diagnosis(1≤k≤4) algorithm of ndimensional hypercube, called t/k-MM*-DIAG, is proposed to isolate all faulty processors within the set of nodes, among which the number of fault-free nodes identified wrongly as faulty is at most k.
