The ability to noninvasively manipulate and isolate specific cell populations in vivo is critical for advancing real-time diagnostics,precision medicine,and immunological research.Here,we present a novel and broadly applicable optical trapping system based on a custom-designed 2×3 optical tweezer array,which enables the real-time interception and manipulation of circulating leukocytes in live animals.By utilizing intrinsic velocity differences between leukocytes and red blood cells,the system achieves stable trapping of individual leukocytes in vessels 15-20μm in diameter and decelerates multiple cells in vessels greater than 20μm.Notably,it also enables the optical blockage of lymphatic vessels exceeding 50μm,a previously unreported capability.This label-free,noninvasive approach operates without repeated blood draws and is compatible with diverse vessel geometries and flow dynamics.The system offers a generalizable solution for in vivo cell extraction and analysis,paving the way for high-precision single-cell technologies in biomedical research and clinical translation. 展开更多

The overuse and improper disposal of tetracyclines raise significant environmental and public health concerns due to their persistent ecotoxicological effects.However,there is still a lack of simple,readily available,and effective method for simultaneously detecting multiple tetracyclines.Herein,we present a simple fluorescent sensor array for the detection and identification of multiple tetracyclines(including tetracycline,oxytetracycline,chlortetracycline,and doxycycline)based on host-guest recognitions between albumin(host)and tetracycline(guest).Upon entering the hydrophobic cavity of albumin,tetracycline exhibits a significant enhancement in its intrinsic fluorescence.The differential binding affinity of two albumins to four tetracyclines resulted in different fluorescent responses,creating distinct fluorescence patterns for each tetracycline.With the assistance of machine learning technique,including linear discriminant analysis(LDA)and hierarchical cluster analysis(HCA),this sensor array demonstrated the significant discrimination and classification capabilities for four common tetracyclines and their mixtures with 100%accuracy.Additionally,the array has been successfully applied to differentiate tetracyclines in real food samples.The spiked antibiotics in water sample were determined with a satisfactory recovery of 96.33%-106.5%.This work offers a simple but promising method for differentiating tetracycline antibiotics and presents a versatile strategy for sensor array design. 展开更多

Inerter is a basic two-terminal dynamic element.To explore the theory of inerter and obtain new mode control method of large unmanned underwater vehicle propulsion motor floating raft system,novel accurate mode control based on inerter array is proposed.First,accurate mode control based on triangular inerter array is researched.Then,method of accurate mode control based on rectangular inerter array is explained.Then,accurate mode control based on cross inerter array is researched.Dynamic models and accurate mode control methods are verified by experiments.The percentage deviations between experimental and theoretical natural frequencies are within 12%.It is concluded that accurate mode control based on inerter array is effective.Triangular inerter array and rectangular inerter array with equal inertances and nonzero distances must change all points to change a mode.Isosceles triangular inerter array which contains zero distance and cross inerter array need to change two points to change a torsional mode.Inerter arrays with a centroid inerter can accurately change the translational mode. 展开更多

The emerging anode-free lithium metal battery(AFLMB)is very promising for the next-generation electrochemical energy storage technology due to its remarkable high-energy density.However,the current development of AFLMB is seriously hampered by the low Coulombic efficiency and limited lifespan caused mainly by the uncontrolled dendritic lithium growth and significant volume change during Li plating/stripping on the traditional current collector.Here,we report the design of a“breathable”threedimensional(3D)lithium host with MnO2nanoflake array for long-lifespan AFLMB.Specifically,a dense MnO2nanoflake array stretchably grown on carbon cloth by an easy solution dipping method is constructed as a 3D current collector for AFLMBs.Both experimental and theoretical studies underlined that the Li2O/Mn nanoflake arrays produced spontaneously upon the initial lithiation can effectively guide uniform lithium nucleation and growth.Moreover,this unique 3D hierarchical structure expands/shrinks along with the lithium plating/stripping,accommodating the large volume expansion/shrinkage over the subsequent charge/discharge processes.As such,a dendrite-free lithium structure was achieved even at a high capacity of 10 m Ah/cm2.More importantly,the as-constructed AFLMB with this current collector exhibits impressive cycling stability with 64%capacity retained after 200 cycles.This study offers new insights into constructing highly efficient 3D protective layers for metal anodes toward the practical feasibility of anode-free batteries. 展开更多

Flexible pressure sensors are widely used in fields such as healthcare,owing to their simple preparation method,abundant raw materials,and high sensitivity.To solve the problems of low sensitivity and high noise impact that arise with traditional capacitive pressure sensors,this paper proposes an electrical double layer microarray capacitive pressure sensor using silver nanowires(AgNW)and ionic liquids.AgNW/polyimide(PI)flexible electrodes and microarray-structured ionic liquids are utilized to obtain highly sensitive responses to changes in weak physiological signals.The microarray structure is a 20×20 quadrangular prism convex array.Experimental tests show that the sensor has high sensitivity(3.1202 kPa−1,0–800 kPa)and fast responseecovery times(100/100 ms).By flexibly attaching the sensor to the skin or a computer mouse,rapid and stable monitoring of micromovements such as facial muscles,vocalization,swallowing,finger joint activity,and mouse clicks can be achieved.The results obtained here are of value for the development of intelligent flexible electronics. 展开更多

In this study,the design,analysis,manufacturing,and testing of a 3D-printed conformal microstrip array antenna for high-temperature environments is presented.3D printing technology is used to fabricate a curved ceramic substrate,and laser sintering and microdroplet spraying processes are used to add the conductive metal on the curved substrate.The problems of gain loss,bandwidth reduction,and frequency shift caused by high temperatures are addressed by using a proper antenna design,with parasitic patches,slots,and metal resonant cavities.The antenna prototype is characterized by the curved substrates and the conductive metals for the power dividers,the patch,and the ground plane;its performance is examined up to a temperature of 600℃in a muffle furnace and compared with the results from the numerical analysis.The results show that the antenna can effectively function at 600℃and even higher temperatures. 展开更多

The structural characteristics of underwater acoustic fields are governed by propagating modes.Underwater acoustic signal processing requires accurate identification of both the number and types of these modes,which also has significant potential applications in underwater target detection,underwater communication,and ocean environment inversion.For a vertical line array(VLA),the conventional singular value(SV)method can estimate the mode number in high signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)conditions,but it fails to discriminate modal types and suffers rapid performance degradation in practical low-SNR environments.To overcome these limitations,a novel optimal projection residual(OPR)method that simultaneously identifies the number and types of acoustic propagating modes in the acoustic field of a VLA was developed.Comprehensive numerical simulations and experimental data demonstrate two distinct advantages of the proposed OPR method compared to the conventional SV method:1)the OPR method enables more accurate estimation of the number of propagating modes,and 2)it can efficiently identify both the number and types of acoustic propagating modes. 展开更多

The Haicheng region,Liaoning,China,likely hosts a conjugate fault system comprising the NW-trending Haichenghe fault and NE-trending secondary faults.On February 4,1975,at 19:36 CST,an earthquake of MS7.3 and intensity(MMI)IX hit the city of Haicheng,Liaoning,China.Although deep seismic profiling was previously conducted along the Haichenghe fault,the limited horizontal resolution in the shallow part prevented the recognition of kilometer-scale anomalies.The velocity structure characteristics of the Haichenghe fault and its NE-trending conjugate faults remain unclear.Using the extended range phase shift method,the high-resolution S-wave velocity structures are obtained by deploying a long,dense linear array of 55 short-period seismometers across the fault and NE-trending conjugate faults.The array length was 32 km and inter-station spacing was approximately 600 m,facilitating the collection of approximately 22 days of continuous waveform data.Employing the Extended Range Phase Shift(ERPS)method enabled the extraction of broadband 0.2–5 s Rayleigh wave phase velocity dispersion curves.The broadband dispersion data were used for inversion of the high-resolution S-wave velocity structure to a depth of 8 km from the surface.The velocity structure characteristics and seismicity of the Haichenghe fault and NE-trending conjugate faults were analyzed and compared with nearby fault gas measurements.Results show(1)shallow S-wave velocities show a low-high-low horizontal distribution,corresponding to basin-uplift-basin topography;(2)significant velocity contrasts occur across the Haichenghe fault:its SW segment(0–17 km)exhibits high velocities consistent with Paleoproterozoic crystalline basement(Pt1),while the NE segment(17–32 km)shows low velocities related to Yanshanian intrusions(γ5)and Quaternary sediments.NE-trending conjugate faults display sharp velocity gradients marking fracture locations,with all faults being near-vertical to~8 km depth;(3)seismicity at 1–6 km depth mainly clusters in high-velocity zones;at 6–8 km depth,it concentrates beneath the Haichenghe fault in low-velocity areas and along NE-trending faults;(4)the seismic activity characteristics and fault zone width of the Haicheng he fault reflected by velocity imaging results are basically consistent with those obtained by the fault gas measurement method. 展开更多

Tianwen-2 is China's first mission for near-Earth asteroid sampling and main-belt comet exploration. After analyzing the orbital environment and operational requirement, a circular flexible solar wing configuration is adopted, addressing key constraints including operation under low-intensity low-temperature(LILT) conditions, reliable stowage during launch, and long-term tension management. High-efficiency triple-junction GaAs solar cells are developed through bandgap engineering and edge passivation, achieving an average conversion efficiency >34% at 2.5 au. The blanket design uses a modular, mirror-symmetric layout with planarized circuits and lightweight backing to ensure reliable stowage. Thermal simulation and tension compensation are employed to manage internal stresses, while ultra-lightweight support structures and planar stress-relief interconnects maintain ribbon stresses below 80% of the fatigue limit. Simulation and ground testing confirm that the array meets the mission's power needs, with post-deployment verification validating its output performance and operational stability. 展开更多

Orthogonal arrays with repeated rows have significant applications in the domains of statistical experimental design and pure error estimation,quantum information and quantum communication,and scientific computing and computer theory,among others.However,there are many unsolved problems on orthogonal arrays with repeated rows.This paper focuses on asymmetric orthogonal arrays.First,we find a bound for asymmetric orthogonal arrays of strength 2 with repeated rows.Second,based on this bound,optimal orthogonal arrays and m-optimal orthogonal arrays are defined.By using the orthogonal decomposition of projection matrices and the contractive replacement method,we construct many asymmetric orthogonal arrays of strength 2 with repeated rows including quite a few optimal and m-optimal ones.Finally,by employing the juxtaposition method and the expansive replacement method,asymmetric orthogonal arrays of general strength with repeated rows are obtained.Some selective new ROAs are tabulated for practical uses. 展开更多

Aqueous zinc‐ion batteries(AZIBs)have attracted increasing attention in energy storage owing to their high energy density,low redox potential,and cost‐effectiveness.Nevertheless,uncontrolled dendrite accumulation,gas generation,and severe side‐reaction problems hinder the cycling lifespan,which prevents their commercial applications.Herein,array‐like porous channels decorated by Na2SiO3sites were in situ created on the diatomite layers by etching with NaOH(DH).DFT calculation results demonstrate that in situ formed Na2SiO3possesses improved Zn2+affinity.The negative 3D porous channels combined with zincophilic Na2SiO3sites provide a fast Zn2+transport pathway and facilitate the ion‐pair dissociation of ZnSO4,ensuring favorable Zn2+transfer kinetics and inhibited side reactions.Moreover,the ordered array‐like structure not only can exert a spatial confinement effect to suppress the 2D diffusion of Zn2+but also drive Zn metal preferential deposit toward the rigid microaligned channels and curb the formation of large‐scale zinc dendrites.Additionally,the hydrophobic diatomite protective layer can accelerate desolvation kinetics of Zn(H2O)62+and suppress the hydrogen evolution reactions.As a result,the DH‐modified Zn anode(DH@Zn)achieves a long cycle lifespan of 2500 h at 1 mA cm−2,much more than that of bare Zn(~100 h lifespan)in symmetrical cells.Besides,the DH@Zn//NH4V4O10(NVO)full cells demonstrate a high‐capacity retention of 93.3%after 1800 cycles at 5 A g−1.This work provides a promising strategy and new insights into the design of electrolyte‐anode interfacial protection. 展开更多

The implementation of multifunctional metasurfaces through loading diodes has extremely high costs,while increasing the number of channels in the element through polarization multiplexing technology is limited.This paper proposes a dual-band five-channel(DBFC)1-bit surface,which expands the polarization independent(PD)channels through rotating array.The polarization-independent metasurface element consists of three layers of metal,with the top layer comprising three rectangular patches oriented in the x-direction,the middle layer featuring a Jerusalem cross structure with accompanying resonators,and the bottom layer being a metal ground plane.The middle layer element can easily independently provide the required 1-bit reflection phases for two orthogonal polarizations in every frequency.The rectangular patches in the x-direction on the top layer do not contribute to the phase of y-polarization.By rotating the upper layer dielectric array 90°,the rectangular patches change to the y-direction.Under y-polarized illumination,the current distribution in the middle layer is shielded,providing a fifth set of polarization independent phases.The proposed 1-bit DBFC metasurface array has advantages in terms of structure and cost,while enhancing the utilization rate of the metasurface array.It has high application potential in microwave imaging,wireless power transmission,and other projects. 展开更多

Low-frequency ultrasonic array is commonly used to detect interlayer voids located in high-speed railway ballastless track,which is a typical multilayer concrete bonded structure.The difficulty of detection lies in the fact that the total focusingmethod(TFM)based on a single fixed sound velocity model cannot adapt to the acoustic propagation characteristics of multilayer structures,which is prone to generating artifacts.In addition,the long duration of lowfrequency ultrasonic pulses is prone to causing significant deviations in defect localization.To address these issues,a theoretical model of the layered bonded structure is proposed.The acoustic wave propagation path and travel time calculation are clarified after combining the Fermat’s principle and Snell’s law,and the shortest path ray tracing(SPRT)is proposed,which achieves visual imaging of interlayer voids;The pulse peak delay(PPD)is applied to correct the travel time of low-frequency ultrasonic waves,and the shortest path ray tracing combined with pulse peak delay(PSPRT)is proposed,which significantly improves the localization accuracy of defects.Finally,by integrating the amplitude and phase information of scattered signals,the shortest path ray tracing based on pulse peak delay and sign coherence factor(PPSPRT)is constructed,which significantly enhances the SNR.The test results show that,compared with the conventional TFM,the proposed PPSPRT achieves average SNR improvements of 6.62 dB in numerical simulations and 14.30 dB in field tests,and reduces the average depth localization error of interlayer voids to merely 23.49%and 10.38%of that of TFM under corresponding test conditions,respectively.PPSPRT can provide important guidance for accurate imaging of interlayer voids. 展开更多

To concurrently achieve low-frequency vibration absorption and high-frequency vibration isolation in high-static-stiffness applications,this study proposes a hybrid passive vibration isolator that integrates a lever mechanism with a Halbach array negative stiffness mechanism.The lever mechanism reduces the natural frequency by increasing the system's effective mass and introduces an anti-resonance frequency.Additionally,the negative stiffness amplified by the lever counteracts the positive stiffness,leading to the substantial reduction in the dynamic stiffness with only a small amount of negative stiffness required.Both theoretical and experimental results indicate that the synergistic integration facilitates the broad isolation bandwidth and effective low-frequency absorption while keeping the added mass minimal and the negative stiffness low.The comparative analysis of several magnetic array configurations demonstrates that,when the isolator dimensions and added mass are held constant,the Halbach array configuration reduces both resonance and anti-resonance frequencies while preserving high-frequency transmissibility.The integrated strategy enables the development of a compact and lightweight isolator,providing an effective solution for low-frequency vibration suppression in scenarios where mass and space are limited. 展开更多

In environments with complex electromagnetic characteristics,signals from active repeater mainlobe deception jamming are closely aligned with radar emissions,significantly impairing radar functionality.This paper explores the efficacy of frequency diverse array(FDA)radar in combating active mainlobe jamming.Initially,the signal model for FDA multi-input multioutput(FDA-MIMO)radar is introduced.Building on this,a frequency offset optimization approach for FDA radar using the differential artificial bee colony(DEABC)algorithm is developed.Following this,the steepest descent linear minimum variance distortionless response beamforming algorithm is implemented in an FDA early warning radar to mitigate mainlobe jamming.Simulations are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategies.The results from these simulations demonstrate that the methodologies can create a focused beam aimed at the target while effectively neutralizing jamming signals within the mainlobe area. 展开更多

Imaging through an optically thick scattering medium remains a formidable challenge,typically addressed by treating the medium as a stochastic"black box"that scrambles information into random speckle patterns.Here,we present a fundamental shift in this perspective:under incoherent illumination,the scattering medium functions as a random array of micro-phase-pinholes,serving as discrete channels for information transmission.By proposing and validating a micro-phase-pinhole model,we reveal that individual microchannels possess distinct transmission capacities that govern imaging quality.Crucially,we demonstrate that specific,randomly distributed combinations of these phase pinholes can spontaneously generate high-fidelity images directly within the speckle field.Guided by this fundamental physical interpretation,we develop a feature fusion algorithm that extracts and integrates high-quality information from selective channel combinations within a single speckle pattern.This work reveals the underlying physical principles of incoherent information delivery through scattering media.Transition from the"black box"view to a deterministic channel model is a strong conceptual leap,offering a novel pathway to overcome thickness limitation in imaging through scattering media. 展开更多

Quantitative speed-of-sound(SOS)imaging remains a significant challenge in biomedical photoacoustic(PA)imaging.Existing SOS imaging methods often depend on full-angle measurement,posing limitations for clinical translation.To break through this limitation,this study adopts a linear array-based PA imaging system and proposes an innovative SOS imaging method by scanning a passive target.We establish a linear model to correlate the measured time-of-flight(TOF)variations to the SOS distribution in the imaging field.We express the SOS reconstruction problem as a least-squares optimization problem,and use gradient descent to iteratively solve for the SOS map.We verify our method through numerical simulations and phantom experiments and the results prove that it can accurately reconstruct SOS heterogeneities.We also successfully visualize the SOS distribution of ex vivo biological tissue with high consistency on anatomical tissue structure.Our method establishes a promising framework for quantitative SOS mapping by using linear array-based PA tomography. 展开更多

Developing effective,versatile,and high-precision sensing interfaces remains a crucial challenge in human-machine-environment interaction applications.Despite progress in interaction-oriented sensing skins,limitations remain in unit-level reconfiguration,multiaxial force and motion sensing,and robust operation across dynamically changing or irregular surfaces.Herein,we develop a reconfigurable omnidirectional triboelectric whisker sensor array(RO-TWSA)comprising multiple sensing units that integrate a triboelectric whisker structure(TWS)with an untethered hydro-sealing vacuum sucker(UHSVS),enabling reversibly portable deployment and omnidirectional perception across diverse surfaces.Using a simple dual-triangular electrode layout paired with MXene/silicone nanocomposite dielectric layer,the sensor unit achieves precise omnidirectional force and motion sensing with a detection threshold as low as 0.024 N and an angular resolution of 5°,while the UHSVS provides reliable and reversible multi-surface anchoring for the sensor units by involving a newly designed hydrogel combining high mechanical robustness and superior water absorption.Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of RO-TWSA across various interactive scenarios,including teleoperation,tactile diagnostics,and robotic autonomous exploration.Overall,RO-TWSA presents a versatile and high-resolution tactile interface,offering new avenues for intelligent perception and interaction in complex real-world environments. 展开更多

A new,compact,and dual-band dual-polarized duplex(D3)phased array architecture is proposed in this study.In contrast to studies reported previously,this design integrates four independent beamforming systems within a single printed circuit board(PCB),enabling the proposed 1×4 phased array to transmit or receive simultaneously vertically and horizontally polarized signals at 28 and 38 GHz,thereby supporting concurrent,dual-band,and dual-polarized four-beam operations.In addition,the exceptional frequency selectivity of the phased array facilitates frequency-division duplex operations.By adopting a brick-type architecture,the proposed phased array achieves two-dimensional scalability,which allows it to serve either as a standalone,small-scale phased array,or as a sub-block for larger-scale arrays.A novel,dual-polarized end-fire magnetoelectric dipole antenna was developed as the radiating e lement for the phased array.This antenna exhibits an impedance bandwidth of return loss below-10 d B across the frequency range of 24.8-40.3 GHz(47.6%),which represents one of the broadest operating bands reported for PCB-based,co-apertured,and dual-polarized end-fire antennas.Experimental validation of the fabricated phased array demonstrated that the two orthogonal polarizations could achieve beamscanning ranges exceeding 90°and 60°at 28 and 38 GHz,respectively.The measured effective isotropic radiated power values exhibited distinct frequency selectivities between the two bands.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first demonstration of a D3phased array that presents a promising solution for beyond fifth-generation(B5G)and sixth-generation(6G)millimeter-wave multi-standard systems. 展开更多

The estimation of the Number of Sources(NoS)is a significant challenge in signal processing,particularly due to the impact of colored noise on the performance of NoS estimation.This paper proposes a Multidimensional Feature Network(MFNet)which is designed for NoS estimation by extracting features of the sampled received signals and Sampled Covariance Matrix(SCM).The MFNet treats the raw signal and the SCM as two different types of data,and is able to achieve NoS estimation under colored noise and imperfect array.MFNet employs the Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)to capture sequential information from the original signal data and to construct the Pseudo Covariance Matrix(PCM).Subsequently,various dimensional features,including eigenvalues and the Gerschgorin disk radius,are extracted from both the PCM and SCM,which are then jointly input into the subsequent network.An overall accuracy of 82%can be achieved after network training.The ablation experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of multiple inputs.And simulation results demonstrate that the proposed MFNet achieves higher estimation accuracy compared to existing algorithms and exhibits greater robustness against colored noise. 展开更多
