Smart specialization is a regional development strategy that identifies regional innovation advantages through the analysis of cluster networks,while strengthening both intra-cluster and inter-cluster technological linkages to promote coordinated regional development.Drawing on branch office flow and patent cooperation data,and employing methods such as the Expectation-Maximization(EM)clustering algorithm and the‘Product Space’approach,this study investigates innovation and technological linkages both within and across industrial clusters.The key findings are as follows.First,Jiangsu’s clusters demonstrate two patterns:closely integrated industrial networks in southern cities like Suzhou,fostering strong industrial resilience,and distinct technological boundaries in northern and central cities like Yancheng,resulting in weaker integration.Second,the cluster network exhibits a single-core structure at the municipal level,centered around Nanjing,with a multi-tiered hierarchy at the district level.Third,innovation linkages between clusters follow a dual-core structure,with Nanjing and Suzhou as central hubs.In this structure,large enterprises in Nanjing and small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs)in Suzhou reflect complementary industrial characteristics.Finally,both technology-intensive and low-tech manufacturing industries show a higher propensity for cross-regional innovation,with some cities demonstrating significant advantages in high-tech industries.Grounded in the framework of smart specialization,this study conducts an in-depth analysis of innovation and technological linkages within cluster networks at the industrial level,offering scientific insights to support the localized implementation of smart specialization strategies in the Chinese context. 展开更多

The unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)self-organizing network is composed of multiple UAVs with autonomous capabilities according to a certain structure and scale,which can quickly and accurately complete complex tasks such as path planning,situational awareness,and information transmission.Due to the openness of the network,the UAV cluster is more vulnerable to passive eavesdropping,active interference,and other attacks,which makes the system face serious security threats.This paper proposes a Blockchain-Based Data Acquisition(BDA)scheme with privacy protection to address the data privacy and identity authentication problems in the UAV-assisted data acquisition scenario.Each UAV cluster has an aggregate unmanned aerial vehicle(AGV)that can batch-verify the acquisition reports within its administrative domain.After successful verification,AGV adds its signcrypted ciphertext to the aggregation and uploads it to the blockchain for storage.There are two chains in the blockchain that store the public key information of registered entities and the aggregated reports,respectively.The security analysis shows that theBDAconstruction can protect the privacy and authenticity of acquisition data,and effectively resist a malicious key generation center and the public-key substitution attack.It also provides unforgeability to acquisition reports under the Elliptic Curve Discrete Logarithm Problem(ECDLP)assumption.The performance analysis demonstrates that compared with other schemes,the proposed BDA construction has lower computational complexity and is more suitable for the UAV cluster network with limited computing power and storage capacity. 展开更多

For the wide-coverage application scenarios,wireless rechargeable sensor networks are normally divided into multiple clusters to support the diversity and flexibility for monitoring,and use the mobile charger(MC)to support the sustainable charging of the network.Many efforts focus on optimizing the cluster head selection and mobile charger scheduling to improve the network energy efficiency and reliability.However,the existing work tends to use fixed triggering mechanism for cluster head(CH)rotation,and may trigger the rotation either too early or too late.Besides,the existing charging triggering mechanisms cannot track the changes in network topology in real time.As a result,both the network energy efficiency and the node failure rate degenerate correspondingly.To solve these problems,this work proposes a dynamic cluster head selection algorithm(DCHSA),which evaluates potential candidate CH sets based on the energy consumption,remaining energy and topological structure,and then select a new CH within this set based on the CH rotation energy consumption and the candidate CH evaluation mechanism.Furthermore,an adaptive dual-threshold selection algorithm based on dynamic energy consumption(ADTSA-DEC)is proposed to determine the set of requiring charging nodes and the trigger time for charging scheduling.The particle swarm optimization is then employed to implement the charging scheduling.Finally,extensive simulations validate that the newly proposed algorithms have outstanding accuracy and robustness in improving overall network energy efficiency and node survivability compared with existing methods. 展开更多

The evolution of networks in rural industrial clusters,in particular in the context of China has been paid more attention to in the world.Applying the theory and techniques of social network analysis (SNA),this study is with particular regard to the business network relationships and their evolutionary dynamics of steel measuring tape manufacturing clustered in Nanzhuang Village,Yucheng County of Henan Province,China,which is important for better understanding the industrial and regional development in less developed rural areas.From data collected by comprehensive questionnaire survey in 2002 and mass interviews with 60 enterprises and assembling families and several government authorities in 2002,2003,2004,2005 and 2008,four types of networks are identified: spin-off,consulting,communication and cooperative.The characteristic of these networks is outlined in detail.Compared with the high-tech clusters of typical developed areas,the networks that have evolved in traditional manufacturing clusters are more affected by emotive linkages.The cluster networks are shown to exhibit a polycentric hierarchical structure.The family relationships are the dominate spin-off channels of enterprises,while the supply and demand relationships and the mobility of the skilled workers are also important paths of network learning,and the cooperation relationships are comparatively stable.Besides the root enterprises,the middle-sized enterprises are comparatively more active than small-sized enterprises,and the intermediary agencies and the service institutions act as bridges of the inter-enterprises cooperation.By analysis of the structure of networks and the interactions between the networks,the four stages of network evolution are also identified.The four stages are dominated by the family networks,the internal division production networks,the local innovation networks and the global supply networks respectively,and they play different roles in cluster development. 展开更多

Network traffic classification is essential in supporting network measurement and management.Many existing traffic classification approaches provide application-level results regardless of the network quality of service(QoS)requirements.In practice,traffic flows from the same application may have irregular network behaviors that should be identified to various QoS classes for best network resource management.To address the issues,we propose to conduct traffic classification with two newly defined QoSaware features,i.e.,inter-APP similarity and intraAPP diversity.The inter-APP similarity represents the close QoS association between the traffic flows that originate from the different Internet applications.The intra-APP diversity describes the QoS variety of the traffic even among those originated from the same Internet application.The core of performing the QoS-aware feature extraction is a Long-Short Term Memory neural network based Autoencoder(LSTMAE).The QoS-aware features extracted by the encoder part of the LSTM-AE are then clustered into the corresponding QoS classes.Real-life data from multiple applications are collected to evaluate the proposed QoS-aware network traffic classification approach.The evaluation results demonstrate the efficacy of the extracted QoS-aware features in supporting the traffic classification,which can further contribute to future network measurement and management. 展开更多

5G has pushed the use of radio spectrum to a new level,and cognitive clustering network can effectively improve the utilization of radio spectrum,which is a feasible way to solve the growing demand for wireless commun... 5G has pushed the use of radio spectrum to a new level,and cognitive clustering network can effectively improve the utilization of radio spectrum,which is a feasible way to solve the growing demand for wireless communications.However,cognitive clustering network is vulnerable to PUEA attack,which will lead to the degradation of system detection performance,thereby reducing the energy efficiency.Aiming at these problems,this paper investigates the optimal energy efficiency resource allocation scheme for cognitive clustering network under PUEA attack.A cooperative user selection algorithm based on selection factor is proposed to effectively resist PUEA user attack and improve detection performance.We construct the energy efficiency optimization problem under multi-constraint conditions and transform the nonlinear programming problem into parametric programming problem,which is solved by Lagrangian function and Karush-Kuhn-Tucker condition.Then the sub-gradient iterative algorithm based on optimal energy efficiency under PUEA attack is proposed and its complexity is analyzed.Simulation results indicate that proposed method is effective when subjected to PUEA attacks,and the impact of different parameters on energy efficiency is analyzed. 展开更多

Furthermore, a synchronizing impulse controller is presented, which is more efficiently and directly used to achieve the cluster synchronization. It is found that the model can exhibit four types of percolation transitions, two continuous percolation transitions and two discontinuous ones. Continuous and discontinuous percolation transitions can be distinguished from each other by the largest single jump. Two types of continuous percolation transitions show different behaviors in the time gap. Two types of discontinuous percolation transitions are different in the time evolution of the cluster size distribution. Moreover, we also find that the time gap may also be a measure to distinguish different discontinuous percolations in this model. 展开更多

Objective:This study investigated trends in the study of phytochemical treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD).Methods:The Web of Science database(2007-2022)was searched using the search terms“phytochemicals”and“PTSD,”and relevant literature was compiled.Network clustering co-occurrence analysis and qualitative narrative review were conducted.Results:Three hundred and one articles were included in the analysis of published research,which has surged since 2015 with nearly half of all relevant articles coming from North America.The category is dominated by neuroscience and neurology,with two journals,Addictive Behaviors and Drug and Alcohol Dependence,publishing the greatest number of papers on these topics.Most studies focused on psychedelic intervention for PTSD.Three timelines show an“ebb and flow”phenomenon between“substance use/marijuana abuse”and“psychedelic medicine/medicinal cannabis.”Other phytochemicals account for a small proportion of the research and focus on topics like neurosteroid turnover,serotonin levels,and brain-derived neurotrophic factor expression.Conclusion:Research on phytochemicals and PTSD is unevenly distributed across countriesegions,disciplines,and journals.Since 2015,the research paradigm shifted to constitute the mainstream of psychedelic research thus far,leading to the exploration of botanical active ingredients and molecular mechanisms.Other studies focus on anti-oxidative stress and anti-inflammation. 展开更多

Deep reinforcement learning is broadly employed in the optimization of wireless video transmissions.Nevertheless,the instability of the deep reinforcement learning algorithm affects the further improvement of the video transmission quality.The federated learning method based on distributed data sets was used to reduce network costs and increase the learning efficiency of the deep learning network model.It solved too much data transfer costs and broke down the data silos.Intra-clustered dynamic federated deep reinforcement learning(IcD-FDRL)was constructed in clustered mobile edge-computing(CMEC)networks due to the promoted video transmission quality for the stability and efficiency of the DRL algorithm.Then,the IcD-FDRL algorithm was employed to CMEC networks’edge for intelligentedge video transmissions,which could satisfy the diversified needs of different users.The simulation analysis proved the effectiveness of IcD-FDRL in improving QoE,cache hit ratio,and training. 展开更多

The algorithm includes two steps. The first step is the fuzzification of pixels in which two redundant images are built by fuzzy mean value and fuzzy median value. The second step is to construct a three-dimensional (3-D) feature vector of redundant images and their original images and cluster the feature vector through RFKCN, to realize image seg- mentation. The proposed algorithm fully takes into account not only gray distribution information of pixels, but also relevant information and fuzzy information among neighboring pixels in constructing 3- D character space. Based on the combination of competitiveness, redundancy and complementary of the information, the proposed algorithm improves the accuracy of clustering. Theoretical anal- yses and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has a good segmentation performance. 展开更多

为优化配电网网格空间的负荷聚类策略,提升负荷聚类的精准度和效率,提出一种基于改进K-means和聚类生成对抗网络(cluster generative adversarial network,Cluster-GAN)的配电网网格划分和负荷聚类方法,通过改进K-means算法对配电网负... 为优化配电网网格空间的负荷聚类策略,提升负荷聚类的精准度和效率,提出一种基于改进K-means和聚类生成对抗网络(cluster generative adversarial network,Cluster-GAN)的配电网网格划分和负荷聚类方法,通过改进K-means算法对配电网负荷数据进行网格划分,接着采用聚类生成对抗网络对网格化负荷数据的精细化聚类。首先,通过引入改进的K-means算法,基于综合网格划分指标对配电网负荷数据进行初步处理。然后,利用融入聚类损失的聚类生成对抗网络模型,对网格内复杂的负荷数据进行深度聚类分析。Cluster-GAN通过生成包含类簇信息的样本数据,在潜在空间内实现高效聚类,有效规避了传统聚类方法易陷入局部最优的难题,显著提升了负荷聚类的准确性和效率。仿真结果显示,该方法能够精确描绘配电网的负荷分布特征,为新型电力系统下配电网及负荷的科学管理、精准刻画及能源优化调度奠定了坚实的数据基础与技术支撑。 展开更多

Many technologies have emerged related with pervasive computing vision, which can give support for AAL. One of the most reliable approaches is based on wireless sensor networks(WSNs). In this paper, we propose a coverage-aware unequal clustering protocol with load separation(CUCPLS) for data gathering of AAL applications based on WSNs. Firstly, the coverage overlap factor for nodes is introduced that accounts for the degree of target nodes covered. In addition, to balance the intra-cluster and inter-cluster energy consumptions, different competition radiuses of CHs are computed theoretically in different rings, and smaller clusters are formed near the sink. Moreover, two CHs are selected in each cluster for load separation to alleviate the substantial energy consumption difference between a single CH and its member nodes. Furthermore, a backoff waiting time is adopted during the selection of the two CHs to reduce the number of control messages employed. Simulation results demonstrate that the CUCPLS not only can achieve better coverage performance, but also balance the energy consumption of a network and prolong network lifetime. 展开更多

A heterogeneous wireless sensor network comprises a number of inexpensive energy constrained wireless sensor nodes which collect data from the sensing environment and transmit them toward the improved cluster head in a coordinated way. Employing clustering techniques in such networks can achieve balanced energy consumption of member nodes and prolong the network lifetimes.In classical clustering techniques, clustering and in-cluster data routes are usually separated into independent operations. Although separate considerations of these two issues simplify the system design, it is often the non-optimal lifetime expectancy for wireless sensor networks. This paper proposes an integral framework that integrates these two correlated items in an interactive entirety. For that,we develop the clustering problems using nonlinear programming. Evolution process of clustering is provided in simulations. Results show that our joint-design proposal reaches the near optimal match between member nodes and cluster heads. 展开更多

To reduce the interference among small cells of Ultra-Dense Networks(UDN),an improved Clustering-Assisted Resource Allocation(CARA)scheme is proposed in this paper.The proposed scheme is divided into three steps.First,an Interference-Limited Clustering Algorithm(ILCA)based on interference graph corresponding to the interference relationship between Femtocell Base Stations(FBSs),is proposed to group FBSs into disjoint clusters,in which a pre-threshold is set to constrain the sum of interference in each cluster,and a Cluster Head(CH)is selected for each cluster.Then,CH performs a twostage sub-channel allocation within its associated cluster,where the first stage assigns one sub-channel to each user of the cluster and the second stage assigns a second sub-channel to some users.Finally,a power allocation method is designed to maximize throughput for a given clustering and sub-channel configuration.Simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme distributes FBSs into each cluster more evenly,and significantly improves the system throughput compared with the existing schemes in the same scenario. 展开更多

Distributed collaborative beamforming from sensor nodes within a cluster is proposed to provide high speed data transmission to the distant UAV. The bit error ratio( BER) closed-form expression of distributed collaborative beamforming transmission with mobile sensor nodes has been derived. Furthermore,based on the theoretical BER analysis and the numerical results,we have analyzed the impacts of nodes 'mobility,number of sensor nodes,transmission power and the elevation angle of UAV on the BER performance of collaborative beamforming. And we come to the following conclusions: the mobility of sensor nodes largely decreases the BER performance; when the position deviation radius is large,incensement in power cannot improve BER anymore; the size of cluster should be bigger than 10 for the purpose of achieving good BER performance in Rayleigh fading channel. 展开更多

As an important part of future 5G wireless networks,a vehicular network demands safety,reliability and connectivity.In this context,networking survivability is usually considered an important metric to evaluate network performance.In this paper,we propose a survivability model for vehicle communication networking based on dual cluster heads,wherein a backup cluster head(CH)will be activated if the primary CH fails,thereby effectively enhancing the network lifetime.Additionally,we introduce a software rejuvenation strategy for the prime CH to further improve the survivability of the entire network.Using the Probabilistic Symbolic Model Checker(PRISM),we verify and discuss the proposed survivability model via numerical simulations.The results show that network survivability can be effectively improved by introducing an additional CH and further enhanced by adopting the software rejuvenation technique. 展开更多

In the paper, we consider a network of energy constrained sensors deployed over a region. Each sensor node in such a network is systematically gathering and transmitting sensed data to a base station (via clusterhead) for further processing. The key problem focuses on how to reduce the power consumption of wireless microsensor networks. The core includes the energy efficiency of clusterheads and that of cluster members. We first extend low-energy adaptive clustering hierarchy (LEACH)'s stochastic clusterhead selection algorithm by a factor with distance-based deterministic component (LEACH-D) to reduce energy consumption for energy efficiency of clusterhead. And the cost function is proposed so that it balances the energy consumption of nodes for energy efficiency of cluster member. Simulation results show that our modified scheme can extend the network life around up to 40% before first node dies. Through both theoretical analysis and numerical results, it is shown that the proposed algorithm achieves better performance than the existing representative methods. 展开更多
