Long-hole raise blasting(LHRB)is a highly efficientexcavation method that is used extensively in underground mining and civil engineering.However,deviations in drilling are usually not accounted for in LHRB,which may adversely affect the efficiencyand progress of raise excavation.In this paper,the effect of drilling deviation on the optimization of LHRB is investigated.The actual trajectories of the blastholes were measured,and the deviation rates between different diameters were compared.The effects of the drilling deviation on the burn-cut blasting mode(BCBM)and spherical cartridge blasting mode(SCBM)of LHRB were theoretically analyzed.Numerical models with vertical holes that consider the actual hole location at different positions of the raise were subsequently developed to simulate the raise blasting damage.The results indicated that the BCBM relied substantially on the drilling accuracy to provide free surface and compensation space for further blasting,whereas the requirements of drilling deviation for the SCBM were less strict.With increasing hole deviation in the BCBM,the height of the failure area of the raise blasting increased.Optimization designs that combine the BCBM and SCBM were proposed to strike a balance between the efficiencyand reliability of LHRB.A 40 m high slot raise in a large-diameter long-hole(LDL)stope was successfully formed by multimode LHRB.The fieldtest results reveal that the optimization of LHRB is feasible in practical engineering. 展开更多

Although machine learning models have achieved high enough accuracy in predicting shield position deviations,their“black box”nature makes the prediction mechanisms and decision-making processes opaque,leading to weaker explanations and practicability.This study introduces a novel explainable deep learning framework comprising the Informer model with enhanced attention mechanisms(EAMInfor)and deep learning important features(DeepLIFT),aimed at improving the prediction accuracy of shield position deviations and providing interpretability for predictive results.The EAMInfor model attempts to integrate channel attention,spatial attention,and simple attention modules to improve the Informer model's performance.The framework is tested with the four different geological conditions datasets generated from the Xiamen metro line 3,China.Results show that the EAMInfor model outperforms the traditional Informer and comparison models.The analysis with the DeepLIFT method indicates that the push thrust of push cylinder and the earth chamber pressure are the most significant features,while the stroke length of the push cylinder demonstrated lower importance.Furthermore,the variation trends in the significance of data points within input sequences exhibit substantial differences between single and composite strata.This framework not only improves predictive accuracy but also strengthens the credibility and reliability of the results. 展开更多

Transit managers can use Intelligent Transportation System technologies to access large amounts of data to monitor network status.However,the presentation of the data lacks structural information.Existing single-network description technologies are ineffective in representing the temporal and spatial characteristics simultaneously.Therefore,there is a need for complementary methods to address these deficiencies.To address these limitations,this paper proposes an approach that combines Network Snapshots and Temporal Paths for the scheduled system.A dual information network is constructed to assess the degree of operational deviation considering the planning tasks.To validate the effectiveness,discussions are conducted through a modified cosine similarity calculation on theoretical analysis,delay level description,and the ability to identify abnormal dates.Compared to some state-of-the-art methods,the proposed method achieves an average Spearman delay correlation of 0.847 and a relative distance of 3.477.Furthermore,case analyses are invested in regions of China's Mainland,Europe,and the United States,investigating both the overall and sub-regional network fluctuations.To represent the impact of network fluctuations in sub-regions,a response loss value was developed.The times that are prone to fluctuations are also discussed through the classification of time series data.The research can offer a novel approach to system monitoring,providing a research direction that utilizes individual data combined to represent macroscopic states.Our code will be released at http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asvnffc6xff0bp65wk.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/daozhong/STPN.git. 展开更多

Precise detection of flight path deviations during the approach phase is critical for identifying operational risks and enhancing aviation safety.However,existing monitoring methods often face significant challenges in distinguishing between environmental signal distortions and operational handling errors due to the lack of high-fidelity physical reference models.To address these limitations,this study establishes an integrated simulation framework for required navigation performance(RNP)and instrument landing system(ILS)approaches by synthesizing quick access recorder(QAR)data with rigorous navigation modeling.A site-specific“digital twin”of Linfen Yaodu Airport is constructed,incorporating 3D trajectory reconstruction based on Mercator projection and Baro-VNAV logic,alongside an electromagnetic simulation of ILS signals utilizing antenna array and image theory to model multipath effects.Empirical validation demonstrates that the model accurately reproduces critical signal characteristics,including interference fringes and secondary glide slope lobes.Furthermore,quantitative regression analysis establishes a definitive linear correlation(R2>0.98)between the theoretical difference in depth of modulation(DDM)and the pilot-observed distance off track(DOT),providing a verified calibration equation for interpreting cockpit indications.The practical utility of the framework is substantiated through the investigation of a specific vertical deviation anomaly,where the model successfully traces the causal chain from signal distortion to unsafe landing parameters such as threshold height exceedance and flare compression.This research offers a robust,data-driven methodology for continuous flight quality monitoring and provides a scientific foundation for identifying the root causes of navigation incidents. 展开更多

In the field of mechanical equipment fault diagnosis,variations in operational conditions often lead to shifts in data distribution,which consequently results in weakening the diagnostic precision.This study presents a hybrid data-model driven framework for fault diagnosis under domain deviation,termed the hierarchical attention guided generalization network(HAGNet).This method can effectively enhance fault identification accuracy under domain deviation conditions,even when target domain data is unavailable during the model pretraining phase.Firstly,a multi-channel data fusion module(HADF),which integrates multi-head self-attention and spatial attention mechanisms,is introduced.Subsequently,a cross-domain center-alignment and type-separation(CATS)loss function is developed to extract domain-invariant features.Finally,a multi-classifier ensemble mechanism is constructed to address the issue of insufficient classifier capacity.The contribution of each source domain is dynamically weighted according to its similarity to the target domain,mitigating negative transfer effects from dissimilar sources.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed HAGNet surpasses existing mainstream methods in fault diagnosis performance. 展开更多

Flight behavior analysis provides the fundamental basis for the future development of air traffic management(ATM).The characteristics of aircraft behavior are inherently reflected in their flight trajectories,impacting flight efficiency and safety levels.However,existing research largely addresses inefficient or abnormal trajectories from a single perspective,with an absence of a unified evaluation standard.This paper introduces a method for analyzing flight deviation behavior based on automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast(ADS-B)data,defining novel metrics of trajectory redundancy and trajectory deviation.An adaptive detection algorithm is developed to capture diverse deviation patterns.Results reveal that higher trajectory redundancy is linked to lower operational efficiency,while trajectory deviation effectively identify stepped descents,holding patterns,detours,and other behaviors.The approach offers data-driven support for anomaly detection,performance evaluation and air traffic management,with substantial significance for civil aviation applications. 展开更多

Accuracy allocation is crucial in the accuracy design of machining tools.Current accuracy allocation methods primarily focus on positional deviation,with little consideration for tool direction deviation.To address this issue,we propose a geometric error cost sensitivity-based accuracy allocation method for five-axis machine tools.A geometric error model consisting of 4l error components is constructed based on homogeneous transformation matrices.Volumetric points with positional and tool direction deviations are randomly sampled to evaluate the accuracy of the machine tool.The sensitivity of each error component at these sampling points is analyzed using the Sobol method.To balance the needs of geometric precision and manufacturing cost,a geometric error cost sensitivity function is developed to estimate the required cost.By allocating error components affecting tool direction deviation first and the remaining components second,this allocation scheme ensures that both deviations meet the requirements.We also perform numerical simulation of a BC-type(B-axis and C-axis type)five-axis machine tool to validate the method.The results show that the new allocation scheme reduces the total geometric error cost by 27.8%compared to a uniform allocation scheme,and yields the same positional and tool direction machining accuracies. 展开更多

To address the issue of coordinated control of multiple hydrogen and battery storage units to suppress the grid-injected power deviation of wind farms,an online optimization strategy for Battery-hydrogen hybrid energy storage systems based on measurement feedback is proposed.First,considering the high charge/discharge losses of hydrogen storage and the low energy density of battery storage,an operational optimization objective is established to enable adaptive energy adjustment in the Battery-hydrogen hybrid energy storage system.Next,an online optimization model minimizing the operational cost of the hybrid system is constructed to suppress grid-injected power deviations with satisfying the operational constraints of hydrogen storage and batteries.Finally,utilizing the online measurement of the energy states of hydrogen storage and batteries,an online optimization strategy based on measurement feedback is designed.Case study results show:before and after smoothing the fluctuations in wind power,the time when the power exceeded the upper and lower limits of the grid-injected power accounted for 24.1%and 1.45%of the total time,respectively,the proposed strategy can effectively keep the grid-injected power deviations of wind farms within the allowable range.Hydrogen storage and batteries respectively undertake long-term and short-term charge/discharge tasks,effectively reducing charge/discharge losses of the Battery-hydrogen hybrid energy storage systems and improving its operational efficiency. 展开更多

The angular deviations and influential factors of Burgers orientation relationship(BOR)in Ti-6Al-4V and Ti-6.5Al-2Zr-1Mo-1V alloys were investigated by optical microscope(OM),scanning electron microscope(SEM),electron backscattered diffraction(EBSD)and high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscope(HAADF-STEM).A spherical center angle model was introduced to calculate the angular deviations from the ideal BOR between α and β phases.The results indicate thatαand β phases in α colonies of both alloys do not follow the perfect BOR during β→α phase transformation,with angular deviation values less than 3°.Through detailed microstructure characterization,the broad face of α/β interfaces viewed along two different electron incident directions shows the atomic-scale terrace-ledge structure,and many dislocations are observed within α and β phases and near α/β interfaces.Further studies reveal that the angular deviations mainly originate from lattice distortions caused by dislocations in α and β phases and lattice mismatches at α/β interfaces. 展开更多

AIM:To compare refractive error and angle of deviation in patients with basic esotropia and basic exotropia.METHODS:A retrospective review was conducted on the medical records of patients with basic-type strabismus.Demographic data,refractive error,best-corrected distance visual acuity(BCVA),and the horizontal and vertical angle of deviation between basic esotropia and exotropia patients were compared.RESULTS:Among the 7129 patients(mean age 22.98±14.81y)evaluated,44.7%(3185 cases,54.9%male)exhibited basic-type esotropia,while 55.3%(3944 cases,53.9%male)presented with basic-type exotropia.Basic esotropia cases exhibited more hyperopic spherical equivalent measurements in both eyes(right:0.53±3.07 vs left:0.56±2.98 D)than those with basic exotropia(right eye:-0.33±2.84 vs left eye:-0.24±2.68 D,P<0.001 for both eyes).Patients with basic esotropia had significantly greater horizontal deviation angles(near:36.08±18.87 PD and far:35.56±18.75 PD)compared to those with basic exotropia(near:33.75±16.11 PD and far:33.26±15.90 PD,P<0.001).Conversely,patients with basic exotropia had slightly higher vertical deviation angles(near:1.67±5.80 PD and far:1.72±5.89 PD)compared to those with basic esotropia(near:1.12±4.57 PD and far:1.12±4.58 PD,P<0.001).Patients with basic esotropia underwent surgical intervention at younger ages compared to basic exotropia individuals(19.68±15.99 vs 25.66±13.20,P<0.001).CONCLUSION:Basic esotropia patients present more hyperopic refractive errors,better visual acuity,larger horizontal yet smaller vertical ocular misalignments,and tend to undergo strabismus surgery at younger ages relative to basic exotropia cases. 展开更多

This study explores the combination of ultrasound technology with a detection algorithm to categorize flow regimes in bubble columns used for aeration in aquaculture.An ultrasonic velocity profiler is used to obtain the standard deviation of the bubble velocity distributed throughout the column.The bubble velocity data for three known flow regimes were used to develop a probability density function(PDF)classification model.The experimental apparatus consisted of a circular tank equipped with a bubble generator and gas hold-up monitoring systems.The flow regimes of the experimental fluid were determined,and the classification was conducted via the PDF method.The results demonstrate that the classification accuracy is not lower than that of traditional machine learning methods. 展开更多

Load deviations between the output of ultra-supercritical(USC)coal-fired power units and automatic generation control(AGC)commands can adversely affect the safe and stable operation of these units and grid load dispatching.Data-driven diagnostic methods often fail to account for the imbalanced distribution of data samples,leading to reduced classification performance in diagnosing load deviations in USC units.To address the class imbalance issue in USC load deviation datasets,this study proposes a diagnostic method based on the multi-label natural neighbor boundary oversampling technique(MLNaNBDOS).The method is articulated in three phases.Initially,the traditional binary oversampling strategy is improved by constructing a binary multi-label relationship for the load deviations in coal-fired units.Subsequently,an adaptive adjustment of the oversampling factor is implemented to determine the oversampling weight for each sample class.Finally,the generation of new instances is refined by dynamically evaluating the similarity between new cases and natural neighbors through a random factor,ensuring precise control over the instance generation process.In comparisons with nine benchmark methods across three imbalanced USC load deviation datasets,the proposed method demonstrates superior performance on several key evaluation metrics,including Micro-F1,Micro-G-mean,and Hamming Loss,with average values of 0.8497,0.9150,and 0.1503,respectively.These results substantiate the effectiveness of the proposed method in accurately diagnosing the sources of load deviations in USC units. 展开更多

The solar wind's interaction with the Moon has traditionally been understood through the Moon's absorption of solar wind particles and the formation of a plasma cavity on its nightside,known as the lunar wake.This study reveals unexpected,large-scale perturbations in the solar wind upstream of the Moon,using 11 years of data from the OMNI and ARTEMIS(Acceleration,Reconnection,Turbulence and Electrodynamics of Moon's Interaction with the Sun)missions(2012-2023).We find systematic moonward deviations of~tens of km/s in a direction perpendicular to the solar wind(moonward),at altitudes of up to 1000 km,particularly when the interplanetary magnetic field(IMF)lines are oblique to the solar wind(30°<θ<60°)and connected to the lunar dayside.The longer the duration of the interaction,the greater the moonward deviation.These perturbations can be explained by neither solar wind pickup of the reflected ions,nor lunar wake dynamics.Instead,they appear to correlate with magnetic connectivity between the ARTEMIS probes and the lunar surface,suggesting a more complex solar wind interaction than previously thought. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Surgically created arterio-venous fistulas(AVFs)are the gold standard for haemodialysis access for patients with end-stage renal disease.Standard practice of AVF creation involves selecting the non-dominant upper limb and starting with most distally with radio-cephalic arterio-venous fistula.The primary patency rate of radio-cephalic arterio-venous fistula varies from 20%-25%.It has been suggested the neointimal hyperplasia at the mobilized venous segment causes stenosis of the anastomosis.Therefore,the radial artery deviation and reimplantation(RADAR)technique,in which the vein is minimally mobilized,should result in a higher success rate.AIM To compare the RADAR technique with classical technique in creation of AVF including:(1)Success rate;(2)Time to maturation;(3)Duration of surgery;and(4)Complication rate.METHODS In our study we recruited 94 patients in two randomized groups and performed the AVF by the classical method or the RADAR method.RESULTS The RADAR group had higher primary success rate(P=0.007),less rate of complications(P=0.04),shorter duration of surgery(P=0.00)and early time to maturation(0.001)when compared with the classical group.The RADAR procedure is a safe and a more efficient alternative to the current classical method of AVF creation.Longer duration of follow-up is required to assess the long-term outcomes in the future.CONCLUSION The RADAR procedure is a safe and more efficient alternative to the current classical method of AVF creation.Longer duration of follow-up is required to assess the long-term outcomes in the future. 展开更多

In this work, we first derive the one-point large deviations principle (LDP) for both the stochastic Cahn–Hilliard equation with small noise and its spatial finite difference method (FDM). Then, we focus on giving the convergence of the one-point large deviations rate function (LDRF) of the spatial FDM, which is about the asymptotical limit of a parametric variational problem. The main idea for proving the convergence of the LDRF of the spatial FDM is via the Γ-convergence of objective functions. This relies on the qualitative analysis of skeleton equations of the original equation and the numerical method. In order to overcome the difficulty that the drift coefficient is not one-sided Lipschitz continuous, we derive the equivalent characterization of the skeleton equation of the spatial FDM and the discrete interpolation inequality to obtain the uniform boundedness of the solution to the underlying skeleton equation. These play important roles in deriving the T-convergence of objective functions. 展开更多
