Background Exercise during neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy(NCRT)has potential to mitigate treatment-related declines in physical fitness,and to improve clinical outcomes,including toxicity and tumor response.However,opt...Background Exercise during neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy(NCRT)has potential to mitigate treatment-related declines in physical fitness,and to improve clinical outcomes,including toxicity and tumor response.However,optimal frequency and timing of exercise remains to be determined.Therefore,this pilot trial aimed to assess feasibility of 2 different exercise interventions during NCRT in patients with esophageal and rectal cancer and to evaluate potential clinical effects.Methods Patients were randomized into 1 of 3 study arms during NCRT:(a)30-min aerobic exercise in-hospital within 1 h prior to each radiotherapy fraction(ExPR),(b)two 60-min supervised combined aerobic and resistance exercise sessions per week(AE+RE),and(c)usual care(UC).Feasibility was assessed by examining participation rate and exercise adherence.Intervention effects on physical fitness,health-related quality of life,treatment-related toxicity,and tumor response in patients with esophageal cancer were explored using regression analyses and 85%confidence intervals(85%CIs).Results Thirty-seven patients with esophageal cancer(participation rate=45%)and 2 patients with rectal cancer(participation rate=14%)were included.Median session attendance was 98%(interquartile range(IQR):96%–100%)in the ExPR and 78%(IQR:33%–100%)in the AE+RE group.We found clinically relevant benefits of exercise on maximal oxygen uptake(VO2max,mL/kg/min)(ExPR:β=9.7,85%CI:6.9–12.6;AE+RE:β=5.6,85%CI:2.6–8.5)and treatment-related toxicity(ExPR:β=–2.8,85%CI:–5.4 to–0.2;AE+RE:β=–2.6,85%CI:–5.3 to 0.0).Additionally,good tumor response was found in 70%in AE+RE and ExPR vs.55%in UC(odds ratio(OR)=1.9,85%CI:0.5–7.7).Conclusion Starting prehabilitation during NCRT is feasible,can increase starting fitness of traditional pre-surgical programs,and has potential to improve clinical outcomes.展开更多

To furtherunderstand the effects of exercise interventions in treating or preventing diseases, it is important to establish a template for exercise interventionsthat can be used in future exercise-related studies.Methods'. PubMed was used as the data resource for articles. To identify studies related to the effectiveness of exercise interventions for treatingvarious diseases and organ functions in mice, we used the following search language: (exercise [Title] OR training [Title] OR physical activity[Title]) AND (mice [title/abstract] OR mouse [title/abstract] OR mus [title/abstract]). To limit the range of search results, we included 2 filters:one that limited publication dates to "in 10 years,^ and one that sorted the results as "best match^^. Then we grouped the commonly used exercisemethods according to their similarities and differences. We then evaluated the effectiveness of the exercise interventions for their impact on diseasesand organ functions in 8 different systems.Results'. A total of 331 articles were included in the analysis procedure. The articles were then segmented into 8 systems for which the exerciseinterventions were used in targeting and treating disorders: motor system (60 studies), metabolic system (45 studies), cardio-cerebral vascularsystem (58 studies), nervous system (74 studies), immune system (32 studies), respiratory system (7 studies), digestive system (1 study), and thesystem related to the development of cancer (54 studies). The methods of exercise interventions mainly involved the use of treadmills, voluntarywheel-running, forced wheel-running, swimming, and resistance training. It was found that regardless of the specific exercise method used, mostof them demonstrated positive effects on various systemic diseases and organ functions. Most diseases were remitted with exercise regardless ofthe exercise method used, although some diseases showed the best remission effects when a specific method was used.Conclusion-. Our review strongly suggests that exercise intervention is a cornerstone in disease prevention and treatment in mice. Because exerciseinterventions in humans typically focus on chronic diseases, national fitness, and body weight loss, and typically have low intervention com・pliance rates, it is important to use mice models to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the health benefits from exerciseinterventions in humans.展开更多

Postoperative recovery time, VAS scores, and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results: The postoperative recovery time in Group A was shorter than that in Group B, with p < 0.05. The VAS scores at 12 hours, 24 hours, and 72 hours postoperatively in Group A were all lower than those in Group B, with p < 0.05. The postoperative complication rate in Group A was lower than that in Group B, with p < 0.05. Conclusion: Pain nursing combined with exercise and posture intervention in postoperative nursing for kidney stone patients can shorten postoperative recovery time and alleviate pain scores.展开更多
Background:Current guidelines offer unclear recommendations on exercise types and doses for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD).This study aimed to:(a)identify the most effective exercise t...Background:Current guidelines offer unclear recommendations on exercise types and doses for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD).This study aimed to:(a)identify the most effective exercise type;(b)model the dose-response relationship between exercise and hepatic steatosis;(c)determine the minimum clinically significant dose.Methods:We searched Pub Med,Web of Science,Embase,the Cochrane Library,CINAHL,Scopus,Rehabilitation&Sports Medicine Source,clin icaltrials.gov,China Knowledge Network Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang,VIP,and Sinomed databases from establishment to May 27,2025 for randomized controlled trials on exercise interventions in MASLD.Network meta-analysis and dose-response network meta-analysis were used.Results:Among 24 studies(961 participants),combined aerobic-resistance exercise showed the highest surface under the cumulative ranking curve(0.81).A non-linear dose-response revealed benefits plateauing at 630 metabolic equivalents(METs)-min/week(mean=-0.68,95%CI:-0.95 to-0.40)and peaking at 850 MET-min/week(mean=-0.72,95%CI:-0.97 to-0.49).Optimal doses were 640 MET-min/week for combined aerobic-resistance exercise,880 for high-intensity circuit training,and 590 for moderate-intensity continuous training.High-intensity interval training showed progressive benefits,while resistance exercise required exceeding 640 MET-min/week.The minimum clinically significant dose was 460 MET-min/week,but combined aerobic-resistance exercise achieved this at only 130 MET-min/week.Conclusion:A non-linear curve underscores key dose thresholds for efficacy and safety:460(minimum),630(cost-effective),and850 MET-min/week(plateau).These equate to moderate-intensity exercise(4.5 METs)for 20,30,or,40 min 5 times/week,or vigorous-intensity exercise(7.5 METs)for 30 min 2,3,or 4 times/week.Combined aerobic-resistance exercise offered both efficacy and dose advantages.展开更多
Purpose:Neuroimaging studies show that the functional connectivity of the brain changes with age.Resting state functional connectivity(rsFC)in the brain appears to decrease with aging in key networks associated with h...Purpose:Neuroimaging studies show that the functional connectivity of the brain changes with age.Resting state functional connectivity(rsFC)in the brain appears to decrease with aging in key networks associated with higher order thinking and effective emotional regulation.Interventions that potentially preserversFC in the brain include 1)physical activity and 2)contemplative practice commonly referred to as mindfulness.The present narrative review aims to summarize the literature concerning the effect of interventions involving exercise,mindful movement,and purely mindfulness-based training on rsFC.Methods:Search terms focused on identifying multi-day exercise,mindfulness,or mindful-movement interventions in non-clinical adult populations that included a control group and both pre-and post-assessment of brain rsFC.Results:Thirty studies were reviewed.Assessed methodological factors that potentially impact findings included subject sample size,scan time length,brain regions targeted for analyses,intervention length and intensity,population characteristics,and differences in sleep quantity/quality.Most studies reported changes in rsFC related to interventions with most observed changes found within the default mode,executive control and salience networks of the brain.However,the largest and most methodologically rigorous study found minimal associations between rsFC and either exercise or mindfulness.Conclusion:Given the inconsistent results found in this review,caution is warranted in the interpretation of changes in rsFC attributable to exercise and mindfulness.This review highlights key factors likely to contribute to differences in reported outcomes.Methodological consistency in fMRI acquisition,data preparation,and analytical approaches are crucial to improve reproducibility and allow for comparison and aggregation.展开更多
Background:Mental health disorders are a major global burden,highlighting the need for effective non-pharmacological interventions.Physical activity has emerged as a promising strategy for improving mental health outc...Background:Mental health disorders are a major global burden,highlighting the need for effective non-pharmacological interventions.Physical activity has emerged as a promising strategy for improving mental health outcomes.This systematic review examined the effects of structured physical activity and exercise interventions on mental health outcomes,addressing the growing need for effective non-pharmacological strategies for mental health promotion.Methods:The review followed PRISMA 2020 guidelines.Searches were conducted in PubMed,Web of Science,Scopus,and PsycINFO for studies published between 2017 and December 2025.Study selection was based on the PICOS framework.Thirteen studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in the qualitative synthesis.Methodological quality was assessed using the PEDro scale.Results:Included studies involved clinical and non-clinical populations across various age groups.Structured exercise interventions(aerobic,resistance,or combined)were associated with reductions in depressive and anxiety symptoms,as well the improvements in psychological well-being and stress-related outcomes.Across the included studies,interventions of moderate-to-vigorous intensity performed two to five times per week over periods ranging from 6 to 24 weeks appeared to demonstrate the most consistent benefits.However,this observation is based on qualitative comparison of the included studies rather than a formal meta-analytic dose–response analysis.PEDro scores ranged from 4 to 8,indicating moderate to high methodological quality.Conclusions:Structured exercise interventions appear to be a promising and feasible approach for improving mental health outcomes across diverse populations.However,due to heterogeneity in study designs and outcome measures,the findings should be interpreted with caution,and further high-quality research is needed.展开更多
BACKGROUND Esophageal cancer is a malignancy that originates in the epithelium of the esophageal mucosa and has a high mortality rate.Although radiotherapy is the primary treatment modality,it can easily lead to nutri...BACKGROUND Esophageal cancer is a malignancy that originates in the epithelium of the esophageal mucosa and has a high mortality rate.Although radiotherapy is the primary treatment modality,it can easily lead to nutritional deterioration and psychological distress,affecting treatment efficacy and quality of life.Currently,there are relatively few postoperative rehabilitation interventions for esophageal cancer.As such,it is particularly important to develop a systematic and comprehensive intervention model to improve the quality of life and nutritional status of patients.AIM To evaluate exercise,nutritional,and psychological interventions on the postoperative nutritional and mental status of patients with esophageal cancer.METHODS Data from 104 patients,who were diagnosed with postoperative esophageal cancer between August 2023 and February 2024,were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were divided into 2 groups using a random numbers table:control[routine nursing measures(n=53)];and observation[routine nursing+exercise,nutritional support,and psychological interventions(n=51)].Nutritional status,anxiety and depression,quality of life,incidence of complications,treatment compliance,and satisfaction with nursing care were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Serum albumin,prealbumin,hemoglobin,transferrin,and World Health Organization Quality of Life-Brief Version scores were higher in the observation group than those in the control group.After treatment,Self-rating Anxiety Scale,Self-rating Depression Scale,and Hamilton Anxiety and Depression Scale scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group.No significant differences were observed in the incidence of complications between the observation and control groups.The observation group exhibited more satisfaction with nursing care and treatment compliance than the control group.CONCLUSION Exercise,nutritional support,and psychological interventions effectively improves the nutritional status and negative emotions of patients undergoing radiotherapy for esophageal cancer,and enhances treatment compliance and satisfaction with nursing.展开更多
Exercise intervention at the early stage of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)can aid in the maintenance of blood glucose homeostasis and prevent the development of macrovascular and microvascular complications.However,th...Exercise intervention at the early stage of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)can aid in the maintenance of blood glucose homeostasis and prevent the development of macrovascular and microvascular complications.However,the exercise-regulated pathways that prevent the development of T2DM remain largely unclear.In this study,two forms of exercise intervention,treadmill training and voluntary wheel running,were conducted for high-fat diet(HFD)-induced obese mice.We observed that both forms of exercise intervention alleviated HFD-induced insulin resistance and glucose intolerance.Skeletal muscle is recognized as the primary site for postprandial glucose uptake and for responsive alteration beyond exercise training.Metabolomic profiling of the plasma and skeletal muscle in Chow,HFD,and HFD-exercise groups revealed robust alterations in metabolic pathways by exercise intervention in both cases.Overlapping analysis identified nine metabolites,including beta-alanine,leucine,valine,and tryptophan,which were reversed by exercise treatment in both the plasma and skeletal muscle.Transcriptomic analysis of gene expression profiles in the skeletal muscle revealed several key pathways involved in the beneficial effects of exercise on metabolic homeostasis.In addition,integrative transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses uncovered strong correlations between the concentrations of bioactive metabolites and the expression levels of genes involved in energy metabolism,insulin sensitivity,and immune response in the skeletal muscle.This work established two models of exercise intervention in obese mice and provided mechanistic insights into the beneficial effects of exercise intervention on systemic energy homeostasis.展开更多

Purpose: This study aimed to assess whether the benefits of exercise on central adiposity and insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) are maintained after discontinuation of intervention in the overweight/obese (OWOB) women...Purpose: This study aimed to assess whether the benefits of exercise on central adiposity and insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) are maintained after discontinuation of intervention in the overweight/obese (OWOB) women. Methods: The study subjects were from 2 independent studies with similar aerobic exercise (AE) intervention programs. In study I, I50WOB postmenopausal women with pre-diabetes (body mass index, BMI = 24-33 kg/m2, aged 52-65 years) completed an 8-month exercise intervention and were followed for 2 years after the intervention. In study lI, 12 OWOB (BM1 = 25-35 kg/m2, aged 30-50 years) premenopausal women participated in a 6-week AE and were followed for 4 years after the intervention. The exercise program consisted of progressive AE with intensity of 60%-75% of initial fitness level, 30-60 minime and 3-5 times/week. Fat mass (FM) was assessed by Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA Prodigy; study I) or bioelectrical impedance device (Inbody 720; study II). Plasma glucose and insulin were assessed by chemiluminescent immunoassay and HOMA-IR was calculated. Results: Both 8-month and 6-week moderate AE were effective in reducing HOMA-IR (-18.9%, p = 0.012 and -26.7%, p = 0.046, respectively), and 8-month AE reduced FM at upper abdominal region (-6.2%, p = 0.021). However, these improvements were not maintained in either study at the follow-up. Conclusion: The AE program used in these studies was effective to reduce insulin resistance and/or FM in central body region among overweight and obese women. However, when exercise intervention was discontinued, the beneficial effects following both short- and long-term intervention disappeared. Thus maintaining exercise seems to be required if one wants to reap the benefits of exercise in the long-term.展开更多
The mental health of adolescents is a priority for successful development.Physical activity(PA)and exercise can have effects on the mental health of adolescents.This review analysed the effect that physical exercise i...The mental health of adolescents is a priority for successful development.Physical activity(PA)and exercise can have effects on the mental health of adolescents.This review analysed the effect that physical exercise interventions can have on the mental health of healthy adolescents between 10 and 19 years of age.The search was carried out in four databases.PubMed,Web of Science,Scopus and SportDiscuss,were searched up to December 31,2022,following the general model.Eleven studies were selected,with a total sample of 23681 participants in 2435 studies published in the last 5 years involving healthy adolescents.The search process and review of the articles was performed by independent expert investigators.The risk-of-bias and the methodological quality were analysed using the Cochrane scale.The limited and heterogeneous studies conducted so far do not clearly establish the benefits of PA on adolescents’mental health.However,some PA interventions seem to improve subjective well-being,self-esteem,physical and mental well-being,anxiety,lifestyle,emotional intelligence,depressive mood,and perceived benefit and confidence in healthy adolescents.It is important to design an effective and appropriate physical exercise programme that can be implemented for adolescents to achieve significant effects on their mental health.Studies that did not implement an appropriate exercise program with improvements in adolescent physical fitness showed no changes in psychological variables.Further research is needed to clearly establish that exercise programmes have positive effects on mental health in healthy adolescents.展开更多
The purpose of this study was to determine whether interventions could improve peroneal reaction time in both healthy and those with injured ankle participants based on a systematic review and meta-analysis.An electro...The purpose of this study was to determine whether interventions could improve peroneal reaction time in both healthy and those with injured ankle participants based on a systematic review and meta-analysis.An electronic search of the following database was carried out:MEDLINE,ScienceDirect and SPORTDiscus(1965–2020).Studies utilising sudden ankle inversion to measure peroneal reaction times were selected.28 studies were included for the systematic review,and 18 studies for the meta-analysis.The peroneal reaction time for pre-and post-intervention were compared into two groups,Group 1 was therapeutic exercise intervention,and Group 2 was prophylactic devices.The results showed a statistically significant difference in reduced peroneal reaction time in favour of participants in the exercise group(SMD=0.74,95%CI[1.09,0.39],p<0.001,I280%),while the prophylactic devices group showed no significant difference between control and intervention group.The effect size measured was 0.81 and 0.31 in Group 1 and Group 2,respectively.Faster peroneal muscle onset reaction time post-intervention,which was found following therapeutic exercise,should be considered for rehabilitation and preventing of ankle sprain injury.展开更多
The aim of this present study was to investigate the effects of training on exercise tolerance of patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention.Fifty-seven cases of coronary heart disea...The aim of this present study was to investigate the effects of training on exercise tolerance of patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention.Fifty-seven cases of coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention were divided randomly into the rehabilitation training group(26 cases) and control group(31 cases).Patients in the rehabilitation training group received rehabilitation training at different stages and exercise intensities 3 d after percutaneous coronary intervention for 3 months.The heart rate,blood pressure,ECG changes in treadmill exercise test,and the frequency of anginal episodes were observed.The results showed that NST and ΣST of ECG and the frequency of anginal episodes were significantly reduced in the rehabilitation training group.In addition,exercise tolerance was improved and the total exercise time was lengthened in these patients.Moreover,ST segment depression time and emergence time of angina with exercise were also lengthened compared with controls(P 〈 0.05,or 0.01).However,the heart rate and blood pressure before and after exercise of the two groups were similar.The study indicated that rehabilitation training could significantly relieve angina,amend ischemic features of ECG,and improve exercise tolerance of coronary heart disease patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.展开更多

Methods: the study period was from June 2019 to January 2021. Sixty-four elderly patients with COPD complicated with sarcopenia were randomly divided into the control group (n = 32) and the observation group (n = 32) according to the hospital label. The patients in the control group received routine care, while the patients in the observation group received exercise and diet intervention on the basis of routine care. The respiratory and motor functions and quality of life of the two groups of patients were evaluated. Results: after the nursing intervention, the lung function index of the observation group was improved more obviously than that of the control group (P < 0.05). It was better than the control group in activity, prevention and disease influence (P < 0.05). Conclusion: exercise and diet intervention for elderly COPD patients with sarcopenia can significantly improve the pulmonary function of patients, enhance vitality and disease prevention ability, and thus promote the early recovery of patients.展开更多

摘要Background Exercise during neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy(NCRT)has potential to mitigate treatment-related declines in physical fitness,and to improve clinical outcomes,including toxicity and tumor response.However,optimal frequency and timing of exercise remains to be determined.Therefore,this pilot trial aimed to assess feasibility of 2 different exercise interventions during NCRT in patients with esophageal and rectal cancer and to evaluate potential clinical effects.Methods Patients were randomized into 1 of 3 study arms during NCRT:(a)30-min aerobic exercise in-hospital within 1 h prior to each radiotherapy fraction(ExPR),(b)two 60-min supervised combined aerobic and resistance exercise sessions per week(AE+RE),and(c)usual care(UC).Feasibility was assessed by examining participation rate and exercise adherence.Intervention effects on physical fitness,health-related quality of life,treatment-related toxicity,and tumor response in patients with esophageal cancer were explored using regression analyses and 85%confidence intervals(85%CIs).Results Thirty-seven patients with esophageal cancer(participation rate=45%)and 2 patients with rectal cancer(participation rate=14%)were included.Median session attendance was 98%(interquartile range(IQR):96%–100%)in the ExPR and 78%(IQR:33%–100%)in the AE+RE group.We found clinically relevant benefits of exercise on maximal oxygen uptake(VO2max,mL/kg/min)(ExPR:β=9.7,85%CI:6.9–12.6;AE+RE:β=5.6,85%CI:2.6–8.5)and treatment-related toxicity(ExPR:β=–2.8,85%CI:–5.4 to–0.2;AE+RE:β=–2.6,85%CI:–5.3 to 0.0).Additionally,good tumor response was found in 70%in AE+RE and ExPR vs.55%in UC(odds ratio(OR)=1.9,85%CI:0.5–7.7).Conclusion Starting prehabilitation during NCRT is feasible,can increase starting fitness of traditional pre-surgical programs,and has potential to improve clinical outcomes.
摘要Objective:To investigate the positive eff ect of mindfulness training and exercise therapy on functional recovery and quality of life in elderly patients with fractures of the lower back.Methods:Collection of medical records of patients with lumbar vertebral fractures in Suzhou Municipal Hospital(North District),60 patients underwent percutaneous vertebroplasty(PVP/PKP),they were divided into control and experimental groups according to a random number table,30 people per group;In addition to traditional care method,Also intervened with behavioural awareness training and exercise therapy,By comparing the Oswestry dysfunction index score(ODI),visual simulation score(VAS),ability of daily living score(ADL),quality of life score(SF-36),To evaluate the eff ectiveness of the intervention.Results:Before the intervention,the ODI,VAS,ADL,and SF-36 scores were basically the same,with no significant diff erence(P>0.05).After treatment,the ODI and VAS scores of the experimental group and the control group were signifi cantly lower,and the experimental group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05);the ADL scores of the experimental group were signifi cantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05);their SF-36 quality of life scores in all dimensions were signifi cantly higher(P<0.05).Conclusion:Through the rehabilitation treatment method combining mindfulness behavior training and exercise intervention,it can eff ectively promote the functional recovery of osteoporotic lumbar fractures in the elderly,thus reducing their pain and improving their quality of life.

摘要Background'. In recent years, much evidence has emerged to indicate that exercise can benefit people when performed properly. This reviewsummarizes the exercise interventions used in studies involving mice as they are related to special diseases or physiological status. To furtherunderstand the effects of exercise interventions in treating or preventing diseases, it is important to establish a template for exercise interventionsthat can be used in future exercise-related studies.Methods'. PubMed was used as the data resource for articles. To identify studies related to the effectiveness of exercise interventions for treatingvarious diseases and organ functions in mice, we used the following search language: (exercise [Title] OR training [Title] OR physical activity[Title]) AND (mice [title/abstract] OR mouse [title/abstract] OR mus [title/abstract]). To limit the range of search results, we included 2 filters:one that limited publication dates to "in 10 years,^ and one that sorted the results as "best match^^. Then we grouped the commonly used exercisemethods according to their similarities and differences. We then evaluated the effectiveness of the exercise interventions for their impact on diseasesand organ functions in 8 different systems.Results'. A total of 331 articles were included in the analysis procedure. The articles were then segmented into 8 systems for which the exerciseinterventions were used in targeting and treating disorders: motor system (60 studies), metabolic system (45 studies), cardio-cerebral vascularsystem (58 studies), nervous system (74 studies), immune system (32 studies), respiratory system (7 studies), digestive system (1 study), and thesystem related to the development of cancer (54 studies). The methods of exercise interventions mainly involved the use of treadmills, voluntarywheel-running, forced wheel-running, swimming, and resistance training. It was found that regardless of the specific exercise method used, mostof them demonstrated positive effects on various systemic diseases and organ functions. Most diseases were remitted with exercise regardless ofthe exercise method used, although some diseases showed the best remission effects when a specific method was used.Conclusion-. Our review strongly suggests that exercise intervention is a cornerstone in disease prevention and treatment in mice. Because exerciseinterventions in humans typically focus on chronic diseases, national fitness, and body weight loss, and typically have low intervention com・pliance rates, it is important to use mice models to investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying the health benefits from exerciseinterventions in humans.
摘要Objective:To study the application effect of standardized nutritional care combined with exercise intervention in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and the effect on fasting blood glucose(FPG),2-hour postprandial blood glucose(2hPG),and glycated hemoglobin(HbA1c)levels.Methods:Ninety cases of gestational diabetes mellitus diagnosed between June 2022 and June 2023 were selected and randomly divided into two groups of 45 cases each.The control group received conventional intervention,while the observation group received combined standardized nutritional care and exercise intervention.Blood glucose levels,adverse pregnancy outcomes,and adverse neonatal outcomes were compared.Results:On the day before delivery,the FPG,2hPG,and HbA1c levels of patients in the observation group were lower than those of patients in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes(4.44%)and adverse neonatal outcomes(2.22%)in the observation group was lower than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The blood glucose levels of gestational diabetes mellitus patients can be controlled through standardized nutritional care and exercise interventions,leading to improved pregnancy and neonatal outcomes.
摘要Objective: to analyze the effect of combined physical therapy and exercise intervention on patients with cervical spondylosis. Methods: 62 patients with cervical spondylosis were randomly selected from January 2021 to March 2022. They were randomly divided into group A (physical therapy) and group B (physical therapy + exercise intervention) by bicolor ball method. The effects of the two groups were compared. Results: after treatment, the cervical joint range of motion, quality of life score, NDI index, JOA score and VAS score in group B were better than those in group A (P0.05). Conclusion: the combination of physical therapy and exercise intervention has a better effect on improving cervical function, pain degree and quality of life in patients with cervical spondylosis.
摘要Objective: to discuss the role of TCS in improving the implementation rate of oral exercise intervention in premature infants. Methods: set up a quality management circle group, use PDCA management and other tools to improve the nursing work mode, design the standard operation book, operation process, scoring standard and operation map for oral exercise intervention in premature infants, formulate the supervision and assessment process, and make operation videos. Selected from March 18, 2020 to April 26, 2020, 68 premature infants as the control group, July 29,2020 as August 25, through the execution of the reason analysis, know the status quo, develop standard books, operation process, scoring criteria, operation map and video methods, compare the premature oral exercise intervention execution rate before and after improvement. Results: the implementation rate of oral exercise intervention in preterm infants increased from 29.4% to 72.1%, higher than the target value, and it was significant, (P <0.05). Conclusion: the quality control circle method can improve the implementation rate of clinical nurses 'oral exercise intervention in premature infants, improve the work efficiency of clinical nurses, improve the ability of nurses' ability to use management tools to solve specific clinical problems and nursing quality, significantly improve the satisfaction of the hospital and the department, and make the co-relationship between doctors and patients harmonious.

摘要Lower back pain(LBP)has a relatively high incidence across various age groups,characterized by discomfort in the lumbosacral and iliosacral regions above the gluteal striatum and within the region below the costal margins.Some patients also experience varying degrees of leg pain,with many experiencing prolonged and recurrent symptoms.International consensus confirms that exercise intervention is an effective treatment method for lower back pain,offering safe and efficient physical therapy.Extensive practical experience suggests that Pilates exercises can effectively regulate the strength of muscle tissue in the peripheral region of the spine,improve muscle endurance,and alleviate low back pain caused by muscular factors.This study analyzes the effects of exercise intervention on the function and pain of patients with lower back pain.It explores various exercise modalities,utilizes SPSS26 statistics to gather data,and draws conclusions with the aim of providing theoretical references for exercise interventions in patients with lower back pain.
摘要Objective: To analyze the effect of pain nursing combined with exercise and posture intervention on improving Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) scores in patients after kidney stone surgery. Methods: A sample of 80 patients who underwent kidney stone surgery from October 2024 to October 2025 was randomly divided into groups using a random number table. Group A received pain nursing combined with exercise and posture intervention, while Group B received conventional nursing. Postoperative recovery time, VAS scores, and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. Results: The postoperative recovery time in Group A was shorter than that in Group B, with p < 0.05. The VAS scores at 12 hours, 24 hours, and 72 hours postoperatively in Group A were all lower than those in Group B, with p < 0.05. The postoperative complication rate in Group A was lower than that in Group B, with p < 0.05. Conclusion: Pain nursing combined with exercise and posture intervention in postoperative nursing for kidney stone patients can shorten postoperative recovery time and alleviate pain scores.

摘要Background:Current guidelines offer unclear recommendations on exercise types and doses for metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD).This study aimed to:(a)identify the most effective exercise type;(b)model the dose-response relationship between exercise and hepatic steatosis;(c)determine the minimum clinically significant dose.Methods:We searched Pub Med,Web of Science,Embase,the Cochrane Library,CINAHL,Scopus,Rehabilitation&Sports Medicine Source,clin icaltrials.gov,China Knowledge Network Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang,VIP,and Sinomed databases from establishment to May 27,2025 for randomized controlled trials on exercise interventions in MASLD.Network meta-analysis and dose-response network meta-analysis were used.Results:Among 24 studies(961 participants),combined aerobic-resistance exercise showed the highest surface under the cumulative ranking curve(0.81).A non-linear dose-response revealed benefits plateauing at 630 metabolic equivalents(METs)-min/week(mean=-0.68,95%CI:-0.95 to-0.40)and peaking at 850 MET-min/week(mean=-0.72,95%CI:-0.97 to-0.49).Optimal doses were 640 MET-min/week for combined aerobic-resistance exercise,880 for high-intensity circuit training,and 590 for moderate-intensity continuous training.High-intensity interval training showed progressive benefits,while resistance exercise required exceeding 640 MET-min/week.The minimum clinically significant dose was 460 MET-min/week,but combined aerobic-resistance exercise achieved this at only 130 MET-min/week.Conclusion:A non-linear curve underscores key dose thresholds for efficacy and safety:460(minimum),630(cost-effective),and850 MET-min/week(plateau).These equate to moderate-intensity exercise(4.5 METs)for 20,30,or,40 min 5 times/week,or vigorous-intensity exercise(7.5 METs)for 30 min 2,3,or 4 times/week.Combined aerobic-resistance exercise offered both efficacy and dose advantages.

摘要Purpose:Neuroimaging studies show that the functional connectivity of the brain changes with age.Resting state functional connectivity(rsFC)in the brain appears to decrease with aging in key networks associated with higher order thinking and effective emotional regulation.Interventions that potentially preserversFC in the brain include 1)physical activity and 2)contemplative practice commonly referred to as mindfulness.The present narrative review aims to summarize the literature concerning the effect of interventions involving exercise,mindful movement,and purely mindfulness-based training on rsFC.Methods:Search terms focused on identifying multi-day exercise,mindfulness,or mindful-movement interventions in non-clinical adult populations that included a control group and both pre-and post-assessment of brain rsFC.Results:Thirty studies were reviewed.Assessed methodological factors that potentially impact findings included subject sample size,scan time length,brain regions targeted for analyses,intervention length and intensity,population characteristics,and differences in sleep quantity/quality.Most studies reported changes in rsFC related to interventions with most observed changes found within the default mode,executive control and salience networks of the brain.However,the largest and most methodologically rigorous study found minimal associations between rsFC and either exercise or mindfulness.Conclusion:Given the inconsistent results found in this review,caution is warranted in the interpretation of changes in rsFC attributable to exercise and mindfulness.This review highlights key factors likely to contribute to differences in reported outcomes.Methodological consistency in fMRI acquisition,data preparation,and analytical approaches are crucial to improve reproducibility and allow for comparison and aggregation.
摘要Background:Mental health disorders are a major global burden,highlighting the need for effective non-pharmacological interventions.Physical activity has emerged as a promising strategy for improving mental health outcomes.This systematic review examined the effects of structured physical activity and exercise interventions on mental health outcomes,addressing the growing need for effective non-pharmacological strategies for mental health promotion.Methods:The review followed PRISMA 2020 guidelines.Searches were conducted in PubMed,Web of Science,Scopus,and PsycINFO for studies published between 2017 and December 2025.Study selection was based on the PICOS framework.Thirteen studies met the inclusion criteria and were included in the qualitative synthesis.Methodological quality was assessed using the PEDro scale.Results:Included studies involved clinical and non-clinical populations across various age groups.Structured exercise interventions(aerobic,resistance,or combined)were associated with reductions in depressive and anxiety symptoms,as well the improvements in psychological well-being and stress-related outcomes.Across the included studies,interventions of moderate-to-vigorous intensity performed two to five times per week over periods ranging from 6 to 24 weeks appeared to demonstrate the most consistent benefits.However,this observation is based on qualitative comparison of the included studies rather than a formal meta-analytic dose–response analysis.PEDro scores ranged from 4 to 8,indicating moderate to high methodological quality.Conclusions:Structured exercise interventions appear to be a promising and feasible approach for improving mental health outcomes across diverse populations.However,due to heterogeneity in study designs and outcome measures,the findings should be interpreted with caution,and further high-quality research is needed.

摘要BACKGROUND Esophageal cancer is a malignancy that originates in the epithelium of the esophageal mucosa and has a high mortality rate.Although radiotherapy is the primary treatment modality,it can easily lead to nutritional deterioration and psychological distress,affecting treatment efficacy and quality of life.Currently,there are relatively few postoperative rehabilitation interventions for esophageal cancer.As such,it is particularly important to develop a systematic and comprehensive intervention model to improve the quality of life and nutritional status of patients.AIM To evaluate exercise,nutritional,and psychological interventions on the postoperative nutritional and mental status of patients with esophageal cancer.METHODS Data from 104 patients,who were diagnosed with postoperative esophageal cancer between August 2023 and February 2024,were retrospectively analyzed.Patients were divided into 2 groups using a random numbers table:control[routine nursing measures(n=53)];and observation[routine nursing+exercise,nutritional support,and psychological interventions(n=51)].Nutritional status,anxiety and depression,quality of life,incidence of complications,treatment compliance,and satisfaction with nursing care were compared between the two groups.RESULTS Serum albumin,prealbumin,hemoglobin,transferrin,and World Health Organization Quality of Life-Brief Version scores were higher in the observation group than those in the control group.After treatment,Self-rating Anxiety Scale,Self-rating Depression Scale,and Hamilton Anxiety and Depression Scale scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group.No significant differences were observed in the incidence of complications between the observation and control groups.The observation group exhibited more satisfaction with nursing care and treatment compliance than the control group.CONCLUSION Exercise,nutritional support,and psychological interventions effectively improves the nutritional status and negative emotions of patients undergoing radiotherapy for esophageal cancer,and enhances treatment compliance and satisfaction with nursing.

摘要Exercise intervention at the early stage of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)can aid in the maintenance of blood glucose homeostasis and prevent the development of macrovascular and microvascular complications.However,the exercise-regulated pathways that prevent the development of T2DM remain largely unclear.In this study,two forms of exercise intervention,treadmill training and voluntary wheel running,were conducted for high-fat diet(HFD)-induced obese mice.We observed that both forms of exercise intervention alleviated HFD-induced insulin resistance and glucose intolerance.Skeletal muscle is recognized as the primary site for postprandial glucose uptake and for responsive alteration beyond exercise training.Metabolomic profiling of the plasma and skeletal muscle in Chow,HFD,and HFD-exercise groups revealed robust alterations in metabolic pathways by exercise intervention in both cases.Overlapping analysis identified nine metabolites,including beta-alanine,leucine,valine,and tryptophan,which were reversed by exercise treatment in both the plasma and skeletal muscle.Transcriptomic analysis of gene expression profiles in the skeletal muscle revealed several key pathways involved in the beneficial effects of exercise on metabolic homeostasis.In addition,integrative transcriptomic and metabolomic analyses uncovered strong correlations between the concentrations of bioactive metabolites and the expression levels of genes involved in energy metabolism,insulin sensitivity,and immune response in the skeletal muscle.This work established two models of exercise intervention in obese mice and provided mechanistic insights into the beneficial effects of exercise intervention on systemic energy homeostasis.

摘要Pancreaticβ-cell dysfunction and insulin resistance are two of the major causes of type 2 diabetes(T2D).Recent clinical and experimental studies have suggested that the functional capacity ofβ-cells,particularly in the first phase of insulin secretion,is a primary contributor to the progression of T2D and its associated complications.Pancreaticβ-cells undergo dynamic compensation and decompensation processes during the development of T2D,in which metabolic stresses such as endoplasmic reticulum stress,oxidative stress,and inflammatory signals are key regulators ofβ-cell dynamics.Dietary and exercise interventions have been shown to be effective approaches for the treatment of obesity and T2D,especially in the early stages.Whilst the targeted tissues and underlying mechanisms of dietary and exercise interventions remain somewhat vague,accumulating evidence has implicated the improvement ofβ-cell functional capacity.In this review,we summarize recent advances in the understanding of the dynamic adaptations ofβ-cell function in T2D progression and clarify the effects and mechanisms of dietary and exercise interventions onβ-cell dysfunction in T2D.This review provides molecular insights into the therapeutic effects of dietary and exercise interventions on T2D,and more importantly,it paves the way for future research on the related underlying mechanisms for developing precision prevention and treatment of T2D.

摘要Purpose: This study aimed to assess whether the benefits of exercise on central adiposity and insulin resistance (HOMA-IR) are maintained after discontinuation of intervention in the overweight/obese (OWOB) women. Methods: The study subjects were from 2 independent studies with similar aerobic exercise (AE) intervention programs. In study I, I50WOB postmenopausal women with pre-diabetes (body mass index, BMI = 24-33 kg/m2, aged 52-65 years) completed an 8-month exercise intervention and were followed for 2 years after the intervention. In study lI, 12 OWOB (BM1 = 25-35 kg/m2, aged 30-50 years) premenopausal women participated in a 6-week AE and were followed for 4 years after the intervention. The exercise program consisted of progressive AE with intensity of 60%-75% of initial fitness level, 30-60 minime and 3-5 times/week. Fat mass (FM) was assessed by Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA Prodigy; study I) or bioelectrical impedance device (Inbody 720; study II). Plasma glucose and insulin were assessed by chemiluminescent immunoassay and HOMA-IR was calculated. Results: Both 8-month and 6-week moderate AE were effective in reducing HOMA-IR (-18.9%, p = 0.012 and -26.7%, p = 0.046, respectively), and 8-month AE reduced FM at upper abdominal region (-6.2%, p = 0.021). However, these improvements were not maintained in either study at the follow-up. Conclusion: The AE program used in these studies was effective to reduce insulin resistance and/or FM in central body region among overweight and obese women. However, when exercise intervention was discontinued, the beneficial effects following both short- and long-term intervention disappeared. Thus maintaining exercise seems to be required if one wants to reap the benefits of exercise in the long-term.
摘要The mental health of adolescents is a priority for successful development.Physical activity(PA)and exercise can have effects on the mental health of adolescents.This review analysed the effect that physical exercise interventions can have on the mental health of healthy adolescents between 10 and 19 years of age.The search was carried out in four databases.PubMed,Web of Science,Scopus and SportDiscuss,were searched up to December 31,2022,following the general model.Eleven studies were selected,with a total sample of 23681 participants in 2435 studies published in the last 5 years involving healthy adolescents.The search process and review of the articles was performed by independent expert investigators.The risk-of-bias and the methodological quality were analysed using the Cochrane scale.The limited and heterogeneous studies conducted so far do not clearly establish the benefits of PA on adolescents’mental health.However,some PA interventions seem to improve subjective well-being,self-esteem,physical and mental well-being,anxiety,lifestyle,emotional intelligence,depressive mood,and perceived benefit and confidence in healthy adolescents.It is important to design an effective and appropriate physical exercise programme that can be implemented for adolescents to achieve significant effects on their mental health.Studies that did not implement an appropriate exercise program with improvements in adolescent physical fitness showed no changes in psychological variables.Further research is needed to clearly establish that exercise programmes have positive effects on mental health in healthy adolescents.
摘要The purpose of this study was to determine whether interventions could improve peroneal reaction time in both healthy and those with injured ankle participants based on a systematic review and meta-analysis.An electronic search of the following database was carried out:MEDLINE,ScienceDirect and SPORTDiscus(1965–2020).Studies utilising sudden ankle inversion to measure peroneal reaction times were selected.28 studies were included for the systematic review,and 18 studies for the meta-analysis.The peroneal reaction time for pre-and post-intervention were compared into two groups,Group 1 was therapeutic exercise intervention,and Group 2 was prophylactic devices.The results showed a statistically significant difference in reduced peroneal reaction time in favour of participants in the exercise group(SMD=0.74,95%CI[1.09,0.39],p<0.001,I280%),while the prophylactic devices group showed no significant difference between control and intervention group.The effect size measured was 0.81 and 0.31 in Group 1 and Group 2,respectively.Faster peroneal muscle onset reaction time post-intervention,which was found following therapeutic exercise,should be considered for rehabilitation and preventing of ankle sprain injury.
摘要The aim of this present study was to investigate the effects of training on exercise tolerance of patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention.Fifty-seven cases of coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention were divided randomly into the rehabilitation training group(26 cases) and control group(31 cases).Patients in the rehabilitation training group received rehabilitation training at different stages and exercise intensities 3 d after percutaneous coronary intervention for 3 months.The heart rate,blood pressure,ECG changes in treadmill exercise test,and the frequency of anginal episodes were observed.The results showed that NST and ΣST of ECG and the frequency of anginal episodes were significantly reduced in the rehabilitation training group.In addition,exercise tolerance was improved and the total exercise time was lengthened in these patients.Moreover,ST segment depression time and emergence time of angina with exercise were also lengthened compared with controls(P 〈 0.05,or 0.01).However,the heart rate and blood pressure before and after exercise of the two groups were similar.The study indicated that rehabilitation training could significantly relieve angina,amend ischemic features of ECG,and improve exercise tolerance of coronary heart disease patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.

摘要Objective: to explore the application of exercise and diet intervention in elderly patients with COPD complicated with sarcopenia. Methods: the study period was from June 2019 to January 2021. Sixty-four elderly patients with COPD complicated with sarcopenia were randomly divided into the control group (n = 32) and the observation group (n = 32) according to the hospital label. The patients in the control group received routine care, while the patients in the observation group received exercise and diet intervention on the basis of routine care. The respiratory and motor functions and quality of life of the two groups of patients were evaluated. Results: after the nursing intervention, the lung function index of the observation group was improved more obviously than that of the control group (P < 0.05). It was better than the control group in activity, prevention and disease influence (P < 0.05). Conclusion: exercise and diet intervention for elderly COPD patients with sarcopenia can significantly improve the pulmonary function of patients, enhance vitality and disease prevention ability, and thus promote the early recovery of patients.
