This approach has several major drawbacks, such as only a single structural performance of near collapse is considered, and the simplified approach of adopting strength-based concept to indirectly estimate the nonlinear behavior of a structure lacks accuracy. As a result, performance-based concepts that include a wider variety of structural performance states of a given bridge excited by different levels of earthquake intensity is needed by the engineering community. This paper introduces an improved process for the seismic evaluation of existing bridges. The relationship between the overall structural performance and earthquakes with varying levels of peak ground acceleration (PGA) can successfully be linked. A universal perspective on the seismic evaluation of bridges over their entire life-cycle can be easily obtained to investigate multiple performance objectives. The accuracy of the proposed method, based on pushover analysis, is proven in a case study that compares the results from the proposed procedure with additional nonlinear time history analyses.展开更多

Traditionally, bariatric surgeries have been categorized into hypoabsorptive, restrictive, or hybrid approaches. However, these classifications inadequately reflect the complex anatomical and physiological alterations associated with modern surgical methodologies. This paper explores the evolution of metabolic surgeries, emphasizing the integration of physiological concepts into classic procedures to provide more tailored and effective treatment options for obesity and its comorbidities. Finally, the proposal for a new classification based on current metabolic concepts will facilitate communication among patients, doctors, and healthcare professionals. Additionally, it will enable a more didactic and standardized approach to data collection for conducting studies and publications.展开更多

摘要Current seismic damage assessments for high-speed railway(HSR)bridges primarily focus on the overall structural safety, lacking evaluations from multiple performance perspectives, which affects the post-earthquake traffic decision-making for the bridges. This study proposes a performance-based comprehensive functional damage probability assessment framework for high-speed railway simply supported bridges(HSRSSBs)under earthquakes. The framework categorizes the functions of HSR bridges into three levels:post-earthquake traffic function(PTF),structural bearing function(SBF),and collapse resistance function(CRF),corresponding to the operational, structural safety, and structural integrity requirements of HSRSSB,respectively.By analyzing the damage states of key bridge components during earthquakes, the functional damage probability assessment indicators and classification thresholds are established according to various performance requirements.Damage probability calculations are conducted using the probability density evolution method and vulnerability method. Finally, based on the relationship between damage probabilities at different functional levels,a comprehensive damage probability assessment framework considering the three-level performance requirements of HSRSSBs is developed, and the influence of varying pier heights on the functional damage probability relationship is examined. The results indicate that current HSRSSB designs meet all performance requirements under frequent earthquakes.Under design-level earthquake conditions, the SBF remains in a slight damage state, while the PTF exhibits varying degrees of damage, which worsens as pier height increases. The pier structure satisfies seismic demands even under rare earthquake conditions.

摘要Conventional seismic evaluation of existing bridges explores the ability of a bridge to survive under significant earthquake excitations. The accuracy of the proposed method, based on pushover analysis, is proven in a case study that compares the results from the proposed procedure with additional nonlinear time history analyses.

摘要Many machine learning-based Android malware detection often suffers from concept drift, where models trained on historical data fail to generalize to evolving threats. This paper proposes SCAN(Structural Clustering with Adaptive thresholds for iNtelligent Android malware detection),a hybrid intelligent framework designed to mitigate concept drift without retraining.SCAN integrates Gaussian Mixture Models(GMMs)-based clustering with cluster-wise adaptive thresholding and supervised classifiers tailored to each cluster.A key challenge in clusteringbased malware detection is cluster-wise class imbalance, where clusters contain disproportionate distributions of benign and malicious samples.SCAN addresses this issue through adaptive thresholding, which dynamically adjusts the decision boundary of each cluster according to its malicious-to-benign ratio. In the final training stage, four supervised learning algorithms—Random Forest(RF),Support Vector Machine(SVM),k-NN,and XGBoost—are applied within the GMM-defined clusters. We train SCAN on Android applications collected from 2014-2017 and test it with applications from 2018-2023.Experimental results demonstrate that SCAN combined with RF consistently achieves superior performance, with both average accuracy and average F1-score exceeding 91%.These findings confirm SCAN’s robustness to concept drift and highlight its potential as a sustainable and intelligent solution for long-term Android malware detection in the real world.

摘要Website Fingerprinting(WF)has emerged as a promising technique for identifying user access patterns to Hidden Services(HS).Despite growing interest in WF for HS,the absence of well-established foundations and systematic guidelines for feature selection undercuts the robustness of WF techniques in the face of concept drift. To address this gap,we present an empirical study focusing on feature resilience under concept drift in WF for HS.Specifically,we categorize features into network-specific and network-agnostic groups and quantify their information leakage potential via mutual information. We further assess each feature’s resilience to concept drift by evaluating its distributional stability through Kullback-Leibler(KL)divergence.To support our analysis,we construct a dedicated dataset capturing HS traffic across multiple time windows. Our evaluation reveals that although often overlooked by existing studies,network-specific features—especially time-based ones—not only leak more identifiable information but also exhibit greater stability against distributional shifts over time.We further investigate the underlying root causes of this phenomenon, offering insights that expand the theoretical underpinnings ofWF and guide future feature selection strategies.
摘要Processes supported by process-aware information systems are subject to continuous and often subtle changes due to evolving operational, organizational,or regulatory factors. These changes, referred to as incremental concept drift, gradually alter the behavior or structure of processes, making their detection and localization a challenging task.Traditional process mining techniques frequently assume process stationarity and are limited in their ability to detect such drift, particularly from a control-flow perspective. The objective of this research is to develop an interpretable and robust framework capable of detecting and localizing incremental concept drift in event logs, with a specific emphasis on the structural evolution of control-flow semantics in processes. We propose DriftXMiner,a control-flow-aware hybrid framework that combines statistical, machine learning, and process model analysis techniques. The approach comprises three key components:(1)Cumulative Drift Scanner that tracks directional statistical deviations to detect early drift signals;(2)a Temporal Clustering and Drift-Aware Forest Ensemble(DAFE)to capture distributional and classification-level changes in process behavior;and(3)Petri net-based process model reconstruction, which enables the precise localization of structural drift using transition deviation metrics and replay fitness scores.Experimental validation on the BPI Challenge 2017 event log demonstrates that DriftXMiner effectively identifies and localizes gradual and incremental process drift over time. The framework achieves a detection accuracy of 92.5%,a localization precision of 90.3%,and an F1-score of 0.91,outperforming competitive baselines such as CUSUM+Histograms and ADWIN+Alpha Miner.Visual analyses further confirm that identified drift points align with transitions in control-flow models and behavioral cluster structures.DriftXMiner offers a novel and interpretable solution for incremental concept drift detection and localization in dynamic,process-aware systems.By integrating statistical signal accumulation, temporal behavior profiling, and structural process mining, the framework enables finegrained drift explanation and supports adaptive process intelligence in evolving environments. Its modular architecture supports extension to streaming data and real-time monitoring contexts.
摘要The basic human rights concepts in Chinese classics mainly encompass three categories:the concept of order and freedom influenced by the worldview of the harmony between humanity and nature, the concept of human subjectivity and the source of human rights influenced by the people-oriented or benevolence-oriented values,as well as the concept of the relationship between human rights and state power guided by the outlook on life of the great unity of all under heaven(tianxia).Among them, the concept of order and freedom of the harmony between humanity and nature and modeling itself on nature is more beneficial to the stability and development of human society than the Western concept of order and freedom under“rational choice.”The norm prototype of“Do not do to others what you do not want others to do to you”formed the Article 4 of the French Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen in 1789,and the concepts of“benevolence”and“human superiority”were written into Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the preamble of the Declaration of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, respectively, which have become the common spiritual wealth of all humankind. The ancient Chinese imperial examination system for selecting virtuous and capable people was basically consistent with the provisions on the political rights of citizens to hold public office stipulated in contemporary human rights documents, and was advanced in the world at that time. The contemporary Chinese system of“the state respects and protects human rights”is a system rooted in the Chinese historical and cultural traditions and is with the superiority of socialism.
摘要Objectives This study aimed to explore and clarify the concept of reflective supervision as a professional self-care strategy to create a positive Intensive Care Unit(ICU)practice environment. Methods Walker and Avant’s eight-step concept analysis approach was utilized to identify and define the attributes, antecedents, and consequences of reflective supervision in the ICU.An extensive literature search was conducted across various databases, including Google Scholar,CINAHL,PubMed.Articles published from 2005 to 2025 were identified. We followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)2020 statement to indicate the included articles and extract related data based on relevance. Results Forty articles were included in the analysis. The identified attributes included the supervisor-supervisee relationship, effective communication, teamwork, collaborations, reflection, competencies, feedback, continuous support, and autonomous choice. The identified antecedents included participation, supportive supervision,flexibility,open-door policy, training, and motivation.Consequences impacting the success of reflective supervision were identified as promotion of resiliency,autonomy,work-life balance,self-awareness,increased self-esteem,professional development, critical thinking, increased job satisfaction, and enhanced commitment. Conclusions Reflective supervision is a complex professional self-care strategy that enhances ICU practice,by promoting nurses’well-being,self-awareness,therapeutic skills, and professional development.

摘要By analyzing the structure and academic characteristics of early Western Han medical texts such as Prescriptions for Fifty-Two Diseases(Wu Shi Er Bing Fang)and Prescriptions for Health Preservation(Yang Sheng Fang),and considering the development of philosophical thinking during the pre-Qin and Han periods, this study summarizes how Zhongjing Zhang’s Treatise on Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases(Shang Han Za Bing Lun)inherited pre-Qin and Han philosophical thought while further integrating Daoist“natural law”cosmology,Confucian“benevolence”social ethics, and the“isomorphic unity of heaven and humanity”medical theory in Yellow Emperor’s Inner Classic(Huang Di Nei Jing). It proposes health preservation concepts encompassing heaven-human,body-spirit,and benevolence perspectives, along with dietary hygiene, representing the medical embodiment of pre-Han“virtue cultivation”and“body nurturing”life philosophies that profoundly influenced subsequent traditional Chinese medicine health preservation theory and practice.

摘要During the Tang Dynasty, incarcerated prisoners enjoyed various rights during their detention, including access to clothing, food, medical care, hygiene, rest, and burial arrangements.Under specific conditions, prisoners were even granted leave for family events such as funerals or weddings. The Rules for Prison Officials(Yuguanling)detailed the rights and safeguards for prisoners and set clear guidelines on the use of restraints during detention.Additionally, the Statutes on Deciding Cases(Duanyu Lü)outlined explicit penalties for judicial officials who failed to ensure prisoner rights or committed related violations.Interrogation processes adhered to strict procedural and substantive requirements, including direct questioning by judges, the avoidance of cases involving personal connections or conflicts of interest,evidence-based cross-examinations,careful investigation of circumstances, and consistent rulings across similar cases. The Tang legal code imposed comprehensive, detailed, and stringent limits on the application of coercive interrogations, specifying restrictions on tools, methods, subjects, and extent.Any breaches of these restrictions were met with severe punishments. While the concept of“human rights”did not appear in Tang legal and administrative texts, these laws and regulations embody abundant principles of people-centered governance, benevolence, and human rights concepts.Systematic examination of these ideas, values, and principles—when integrated with the Marxist perspective on human rights—can enrich China’s contemporary human rights practice, contribute to articulating China’s unique narrative on human rights, and play a role in constructing a distinctly Chinese discourse on human rights.Such efforts could provide Chinese wisdom and proposals for the advancement of human rights globally.
