Aiming at the pain points in the practical teaching of Applied Optics and Information Optics,such as high equipment cost,complex operation,disconnection between theory and cutting-edge technology,and insufficient learning initiative of students,this paper introduces VR/AR(virtual reality and augmented reality)technology to build an immersive and virtual practical teaching system,combined with the research background of optoelectronic information,VR/AR and 3D display technology.This paper elaborates on the integration idea of VR/AR technology and practical t eaching of optical courses,designs a three-level practical teaching mode of“virtual simulation experiment-comprehensive practical project-research project connection”,optimizes the teaching content and evaluation system,and verifies the effectiveness o f this mode through teaching practice.The research results show that the application of VR/AR technology can significantly improve students’practical operation ability,research interest,and knowledge application ability,effectively solve the bottlenec k problems of traditional practical teaching,and provide reference for the practical teaching reform of similar optical courses. 展开更多

In response to the three major contradictions,safety,cognition,and ability cultivation,existing in the practical teaching of geological hazard courses,this paper proposes a“virtual-real integration”teaching reform scheme,using earthquake disasters as an example.By integrating digital twin technology and artificial intelligence technology,a four-layer teaching framework consisting of data layer,model layer,platform layer,and intelligent layer is constructed.Progressive teaching segments of“cognition-simulation-decision-making”are designed to establish a comprehensive training path from seismic geological survey to disaster early warning and decision-making.This scheme shifts the traditional field practice venue to a safe virtual environment,promotes students’understanding of geological hazards from static fragments to dynamic processes,enhances their comprehensive decision-making ability in geological disaster prevention and mitigation,and provides theoretical support and practical guidance for cultivating interdisciplinary talents in geological hazard prevention. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the application effect of virtual simulation teaching platform in the practical teaching of medical imaging.Methods:A total of 97 students majoring in medical imaging technology of class 2022 were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number method:control group(n=48)and observation group(n=49).The observation group was under the practical teaching mode based on the virtual simulation teaching platform,while the control group was under the traditional multimedia teaching mode.Questionnaire survey and teaching assessment were carried out after the teaching period,and the application effects of the two teaching modes were compared.Results:The reading and theoretical scores of the students in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the students in the control group(P<0.01);there were statistically significant differences in the results of the questionnaire survey(improved learning interest,improved language expression,improved ability to comprehensively analyze problems,and improved teamwork awareness)between the two groups of students(P<0.05);the students in the observation group were markedly more satisfied with the teaching content,teaching methods,and teaching quality than the students in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The medical imaging practical teaching mode based on virtual simulation platform not only helps improve students’theoretical understanding and practical ability in medical imaging technology,but also improves students’learning interest,language expression ability,ability to comprehensively analyze problems,communication skills,teamwork awareness,and satisfaction with the teaching content,teaching methods,and teaching quality.Therefore,it has wide application value in medical specialty education. 展开更多
