On-Demand API Non-Human-Reliant Tutorial Generation by LLM-Based Across-Language Knowledge Transfer 认领 引用

API(Application Programming Interface)documentation often only describes individual APIs and lacks information on complex API relations and code examples.Retrieval-based and generation-based methods can both produce documentation that includes API relationship descriptions and code examples.However,they are limited by the richness of available API resources.As a result,they struggle to be effective when dealing with resource-scarce languages such as Kotlin.We propose an on-demand API tutorial generation method for resource-scarce languages,transferring API knowledge from a resource-rich language like Java to Kotlin using an AI chain.Evaluating our method on 500 Kotlin APIs,we generated more API documents than the state-of-the-art retrieval-based method ADECK and the generate-based method gDoc.The number of API guidelines generated by our method is 37 times that of ADECK and 1.6 times that of gDoc.Compared with the scheme that did not adopt the knowledge transfer strategy,the success rate of our method has increased by 31.25 percentage points.This demonstrates the feasibility and potential of using LLMs to create new API knowledge across languages. 展开更多

The increasingly rapid development of the disciplines of petroleum engineering and petroleum geology has led to new methodologies and interpretation techniques forming new knowledge that should be offered quickly and efficiently to modern engineers and geologists. This need is equally important for students as well as for young professionals. Access and training to all scientific information is necessary to ensure success in their future careers. Today, e-learning has become a common medium for the management and distribution of on-line educational content. Learning Management Systems （LMSs） were not only developed to handle a large variety of multimedia content that provides an organized knowledge repository used to accelerate access to information and skill acquisition; but, LMSs can also keep detailed statistics on the use of the available material offering a powerful training and educational tool. In this document, the Petroleum Knowledge Tutorial System, an LMS platform offering a variety of online educational and training options to petroleum engineers and geologists, is presented. It was created using Moodle, open- source software that can be used to create on-line courses. The platform covers fundamental educational concepts in a structured way. It follows an optimized ＂workflow＂ that can be applied not only to solve a specific exercise but also any similar problem encountered over the course of one＇s career. The platform was designed to offer a repository of learning material in various forms and to favor user-platform interactions. It can be used for training and evaluation purposes through exercises and problem solving that the user can perform online by using browsing software along with internet access. Special tools were created and implemented on the platform to assist the user in completing a variety of tasks including performing exercises involving calculations with given data and plots of points or lines on graphs without leaving the learning environment. Furthermore, videos with detailed explanations follow each learning module and provide the full solution to every exercise. The LMS automatically keeps a large statistical database including the users＇ access to activities on the platform that can be exported and further processed to improve the platform functionality and evaluate the users＇ performance. 展开更多

目的探讨Tutorial教学模式在大专生《临床药物应用》课程中的应用效果。方法选择2017级药学班学生27名为研究对象,在《临床药物应用》课程中采用传统教学(理论)和Tutorial教学模式进行教学。采用自制问卷调查所有学生对Tutorial教学模... 目的探讨Tutorial教学模式在大专生《临床药物应用》课程中的应用效果。方法选择2017级药学班学生27名为研究对象,在《临床药物应用》课程中采用传统教学(理论)和Tutorial教学模式进行教学。采用自制问卷调查所有学生对Tutorial教学模式的满意度。结果学生对各项评价项目的总满意度均超过70%;总满意度最高的项目分别为培养团队合作精神和有助于临床专业知识学习;非常满意比例最高的项目分别为有助于临床专业知识学习、培养团队合作精神、有利于提高分析解决问题的能力。结论Tutorial教学模式应用于《临床药物应用》课程可提高学生的语言表达和解决问题能力,提升学生对课程的兴趣爱好。 展开更多

The National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) has been the standard by which all undergraduate nursing programs are judged for program effectiveness. Consistent patterns of low pass rates can have serious implications for the academic institution, the nursing program, the nursing faculty, the program graduates, and the community at large. Preparing undergraduate nursing students for licensure is a major concern for undergraduate nursing faculty. Present pass rates for the graduate nursing baccalaureate students at a state university are currently below the national average. To address this problem, these researchers have identified interventions that predict success on the NCLEX-RN examination. The implementation of a five week online NCLEX-RN review course in conjunction with three workshops taught and designed by these researchers is used to increase the pass rate on the NCLEX-RN exam. The goal of the implementation of this assessment project is to provide the nursing student with the necessary tools to be successful on the NCLEX-RN. Furthermore, findings from this project have the potential to identify areas for the improvement in the nursing curriculum as well as the increase of the nursing program’s NCLEX-RN pass rate. 展开更多
