In order to evaluate the effect of gas-liquid two-phase flow mixing, a gas chromatography simulation based on capacitance tomography was used to visualize the flow pattern and analyze the mixed characteristics. A gas top-blown agitation test rig was set up, the gas phase was air-selected, and the liquid phase was selected from synthetic heat-conducting oil. The top-blown stirring test process was measured and imaged by electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) equipment from ECT Instruments Ltd (UK). The MATLAB program was used to identify the mixing areas of the images to obtain the distribution of gas-liquid two-phase. The flow pattern of the gas-liquid mixing region was obtained. The chaotic detection of the gas-liquid mixing process was performed by the three-state test method;the images were processed by the counting box dimension-corrosion method to obtain the mixing uniformity time of gas-liquid flow. Results show that it is feasible to use the capacitance tomography technique to visualize the gas-liquid two-phase distribution. The uniformity time quantification of the gas-liquid mixing process is also achieved.展开更多

Observation of the reduced reversibility in a realistic quantum walk is of scientific interest in understanding the unique quantum behavior. We propose an idea to experimentally investigate the decoherence-induced irreversibility of quantum walks with trapped ions in phase space via the average fidelity decay. By introducing two controllable decoherence sources, i.e., the phase damping channel (i.e., dephasing) and the high temperature amplitude reservoir (i.e., dissipation), in the intervals between the steps of quantum walk, we find that the high temperature amplitude reservoir shows more detrimental effects than the phase damping channel on quantum walks. Our study also shows that the average fidelity decay works better than the position variance for characterizing the transition from quantum walks to random walk. Experimental feasibility to monitor the irreversibility is justified using currently available techniques.展开更多

摘要To deepen our understanding of star-forming properties,we studied a massive protocluster IRAS 15596-5301(I15596)using ALMA 870μmand 3 mm data.High-resolution 870μm data reveal 34 dense cores, including three hot molecular cores, with subsequent line surveys detecting 22 molecular species toward them. Two velocity components(I15596-red/I15596-blue)were found in the averaged H13CO+(1–0)spectrum,and two filaments were identified from velocity-resolved integrated intensity maps.A spatial overlap between the two filaments was observed, and this overlapping region exhibits a distinct bridge-shaped feature in the position–velocity diagram constructed along the entire filamentary structures.Combined with the reduced H13CO+/HCO+ ratio in the overlapping region and the three-dimensional position-position–velocity cube data,we conclude that a non-head-on collision occurs between the edges of the two filamentary structures in I15596.Cluster analysis demonstrates that clusters located in the collision region host more evolved chemical rich dense cores than their counterparts in other regions. Our results thus indicate that star formation in I15596 is triggered or accelerated by a mild non-head-on collision between two filaments.

摘要The evaluation of the mixing effect of gas-liquid two-phase flow during the top-blown gas agitation mixing is one of the difficulties in the testing field, especially in the process of using the model method to study the metallurgical top-blowing process. The uniformity time quantification of the gas-liquid mixing process is also achieved.

摘要Quantum walk is different from random walk in reversibility and interference. Experimental feasibility to monitor the irreversibility is justified using currently available techniques.

摘要Particle transport is a fundamental aspect of various systems, from artificial to biological.A common assumption is that particle motion follows Markovian(memoryless)processes in the absence of interaction between particles. However, hydrodynamic memory and the interaction between particles are ubiquitous, leaving many fundamental questions unanswered regarding transport of interacting particles involving hydrodynamic drag in corrugated channels,as described by the fractional Langevin equation. This study examines the hydrodynamic transport of interacting non-Brownian particles moving within a corrugated channel. We propose a method that relies on factors such as temperature, the driving force to alternate between no transport and finite net transport.Of importance is to note that the absence of transport results from the clogging, while the transport consists of collective motion and independent motion. The transport systems investigated in this work suggest the potential for sensor functionality within the system. Our findings may prove valuable for exploring the transport with hydrodynamic memory in various fields, including biology, physics, and chemistry.

摘要In this study,we examined the thermal fluctuations, deflection angle, and greybody factor of a high-dimensional Schwarzschild black hole in scalar-tensor-vector gravity(STVG).We calculated some thermodynamic quantities related to the correction of the black hole entropy caused by thermal fluctuations and discussed the effect of the correction parameters on these quantities.By analyzing the changes in the corrected specific heat,we found that thermal fluctuations made the small black hole more stable. It is worth noting that the STVG parameter did not affect the thermodynamic stability of this black hole.Additionally,by utilizing the Gauss-Bonnet theorem, the deflection angle was obtained in the weak field limit, and the effects of the two parameters on the results were visualized. Finally,we calculated the bounds on the greybody factor of a massless scalar field. We observed that as the STVG parameter around the black hole increased, the weak deflection angle became larger, and more scalar particles can reach infinity. However, the spacetime dimension has the opposite effect on the STVG parameter on the weak deflection angle and greybody factor.

摘要Although there are many papers on variable selection methods based on mean model in the nite mixture of regression models, little work has been done on how to select signi cant explanatory variables in the modeling of the variance parameter. In this paper,we propose and study a novel class of models:a skew-normal mixture of joint location and scale models to analyze the heteroscedastic skew-normal data coming from a heterogeneous population. The problem of variable selection for the proposed models is considered. In particular,a modi ed Expectation-Maximization(EM)algorithm for estimating the model parameters is developed. The consistency and the oracle property of the penalized estimators is established.Simulation studies are conducted to investigate the nite sample performance of the proposed methodolo-gies.An example is illustrated by the proposed methodologies.

摘要Two-dimensional monolayer copper selenide(CuSe)has been epitaxially grown and predicted to host the Dirac nodal line fermion(DNLF).However, the metallic state of monolayer CuSe inhibits the potential application of nanoelectronic devices in which a band gap is needed to realize on/off properties. Here,we engineer the band structure of monolayer CuSe which is an analogue of a p-doped system via external atomic modification in an effort to realize the semiconducting state. We find that the H and Li modified monolayer CuSe shifts the energy band and opens an energy gap around the Fermi level.Interestingly, both the atomic and electronic structures of monolayer CuHSe and CuLiSe are very different. The H atoms bind on top of Se atoms of monolayer CuSe with Se-H polar covalent bonds, annihilating the DNLF band of monolayer CuSe dominated by Se orbitals. In contrast,Li atoms prefer to adsorb at the hexagonal center of CuSe,preserving the DNLF band of monolayer CuSe dominated by Se orbitals, but opening band gaps due to a slight buckling of the CuSe layer. The realization of metal-to-semiconductor transition from monolayer CuSe to CuXSe(X=H,Li)as revealed by first-principles calculations makes it possible to use CuSe in future electronic devices.

摘要In recent years, the large-scale grid connection of various distributed power sources has made the planning and operation of distribution grids increasingly complex.Consequently,a large number of active distribution network reconfiguration techniques have emerged to reduce system losses, improve system safety, and enhance power quality via switching switches to change the system topology while ensuring the radial structure of the network. While scholars have previously reviewed these methods, they all have obvious shortcomings, such as a lack of systematic integration of methods, vague classification, lack of constructive suggestions for future study, etc. Therefore, this paper attempts to provide a comprehensive and profound review of 52 methods and applications of active distribution network reconfiguration through systematic method classification and enumeration.Specifically, these methods are classified into five categories,i.e.,traditional methods, mathematical methods,meta-heuristic algorithms, machine learning methods, and hybrid methods.A thorough comparison of the various methods is also scored in terms of their practicality, complexity, number of switching actions, performance improvement, advantages, and disadvantages. Finally, four summaries and four future research prospects are presented. In summary, this paper aims to provide an up-to-date and well-rounded manual for subsequent researchers and scholars engaged in related fields.

摘要Mixture of Experts(MoE)regression models are widely studied in statistics and machine learning for modeling heterogeneity in data for regression, clustering and classification.Laplace distribution is one of the most important statistical tools to analyze thick and tail data.Laplace Mixture of Linear Experts(LMoLE)regression models are based on the Laplace distribution which is more robust.Similar to modelling variance parameter in a homogeneous population,we propose and study a new novel class of models:heteroscedastic Laplace mixture of experts regression models to analyze the heteroscedastic data coming from a heterogeneous population in this paper. The issues of maximum likelihood estimation are addressed. In particular,Minorization-Maximization(MM)algorithm for estimating the regression parameters is developed.Properties of the estimators of the regression coefficients are evaluated through Monte Carlo simulations. Results from the analysis of two real data sets are presented.

摘要Sulfur-bearing molecules are frequently detected in star-forming regions. The abundance ratio of SO to SO2(hereafter,SO/SO2 ratio)has been proposed as a potential evolutionary tracer of star formation because tentative correlations have been found between SO/SO2 ratio and evolutionary stages.Nonetheless, the lack of highresolution observations and extensive statistical analyses of large samples raises questions regarding its efficacy as an evolutionary tracer. In this study,we analyze 31 protostellar cores with both SO and SO2 detection to investigate the relationship between the SO/SO2 ratio and two evolutionary parameters of chemical richness factor and gas temperatures. The correlations between SO/SO2 ratio and evolutionary parameters have been found, but these correlations are mainly contributed by low-mass cores rather than high-mass cores. Our findings suggest that the SO/SO2 ratio serves as a reliable evolutionary tracer for low-mass dense cores. In high-mass cores, the relationship between the SO/SO2 ratio and evolutionary stage remains ambiguous. This likely arises from both vigorous stellar feedback effects and the potential absence of distinct evolutionary stages analogous to those in low-mass cores.Consequently,higher-resolution observations with expanded statistical samples are required to assess the viability of SO/SO2 ratio as an evolutionary tracer for high-mass cores.
摘要Localization of the three-level Λ-type atomic system interacting with two orthogonal standing-wave fields is proposed. Two equal and tunable peaks in the 2D plane are obtained by the detunings corresponding to the two orthogonal standing-wave fields when the decreasing intensities of spontaneously generated coherence (SGC) arise in the three-level Λ-type atomic system, while one circular ring with shrinking radii in the 2D plane is obtained by the adjusted phases and wave vectors of the standing-wave fields when the increasing intensities of SGC occur in the three-level Λ-type atomic system. 2D atom localization with the single ring with shrinking radii realized by the multiple parametric manipulations demonstrated the flexibility for our scheme.

摘要Normal mixture regression models are one of the most important statistical data analysis tools in a heterogeneous population. When the data set under consideration involves asymmetric outcomes, in the last two decades, the skew normal distribution has been shown beneficial in dealing with asymmetric data in various theoretic and applied problems. In this paper, we propose and study a novel class of models: a skew-normal mixture of joint location, scale and skewness models to analyze the heteroscedastic skew-normal data coming from a heterogeneous population. The issues of maximum likelihood estimation are addressed. In particular, an Expectation-Maximization (EM) algorithm for estimating the model parameters is developed. Properties of the estimators of the regression coefficients are evaluated through Monte Carlo experiments. Results from the analysis of a real data set from the Body Mass Index (BMI) data are presented.
